daynurseries.co.uk has over 14,000 nurseries listed on its site giving information on its fees, opening hours and the kind of childcare on offer and nearly 200,000 reviews of nurseries giving parents a valuable insight into the quality of childcare on offer.

There is a whole host of different nurseries out there ranging from Montessori nurseries to ones that follow the Reggio Emilia approach and ones that have a Forest School and even ones that fully immerse the children in the outdoors.

This extensive choice can be daunting and overwhelming. This is why daynurseries.co.uk runs the Top 20 Nursery Awards helping make it easier for parents and carers to find a childcare setting that is right for them.

Top 20 awards are based on reviews

The Top 20 awards are based on the reviews received by the nursery which is rated on a number of elements including care, food, facilities, staff, safeguarding, management and value for money.

The Top 20 awards are based on over 67,000 reviews received between 29 March 2022 and 28 March 2024 from parents, relatives and guardians of children who attend the nurseries.
