Clever Cats

Next week the Clever Cats will be further exploring Spring, we will be continuing to plant in our garden as well as exploring the life cycle of plants. The children will make their own life cycle, they will cut out each stage and have a go at putting them in order. Finally we will be getting out and about in the local community exploring nature and collecting resources for our spring sensory tray.

Clever Kittens And Ladybirds

Next week the children within the Toddler room are going to be exploring Spring. The children are going to be conducting a Spring walk to explore their natural world and to collect some flowers from within our outdoor environment which we are then going to use to create our very own floral arrangement. 

The children will be learning and using new words such as ‘Flower’, ‘Small’, ‘Big’ and will also be encouraged to use mathematical language “1, 2, 3” when creating their floral arrangement. 

Butterflies

In the baby unit next week we are exploring females who are important to us following Mother’s Day on Sunday 30th March.

The children will be exploring pictures of those who are important to them, encouraging single words and naming these familiar people.

To continue to explore Spring we will be getting out in the community and will be collecting flowers and natural resources to create some beautiful artwork.
