Clever Cats and Clever Kittens

Book of the week ‘Exciting Eid’ the boys and girls are super excited to celebrate Eid with their friends we are having an Eid party on Thursday 3rd April which we are looking forward too. The story is about how Safa can’t wait for Eid al-Fitr! She loves the special decorations, the henna patterns Mum puts on their hands, the yummy food and the big family gathering. That morning, after the family arrive, they open gifts and Safa gets everything she wanted, including a new bike! Her cousin Alissa shouts after her as she rides off, but Safa doesn’t feel like sharing. Luckily, Mum has a plan for an activity to show Safa how much joy can be found in sharing.

Ladybirds

The Toddlers will explore the Easter-themed tuff tray filled with Easter eggs, shredded paper, “grass” and bunny and chicks. The children will participate in Easter mark-making and decorate their own Easter chick. The children will also enjoy the Easter water play with floating Easter eggs, cups, spoons and jugs for pouring and ducks and chicks for a small world pond. We’re excited to see our children dress up for our Eid party on the 3rd on April!

Caterpillars

This week our children have LOVED planting along their physical activities and making Mothers Day Craft. We have also sent home Monkey Puzzle Mobiles as we draw that topic to a close!

Next week we will be exploring ‘Stars’ and ‘Moons’ as shapes to celebrate Eid and decorating our room in advance of Eid celebration day.
