WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - EASTER

Clever Cats and Clever Kittens

We will be looking at the Easter Story and talking about how Jesus suffered and then was able to bring new life and joy to the world. We will be also focusing on new life and life cycles looking at the different Spring animals and plants. We will talk to the children about how the egg brings new life into the world.

Ladybirds

The Ladybirds will continue exploring the Easter themed tuff tray, which includes Easter eggs, shredded paper, sensory “grass,” fluffy bunnies, and chicks. They will be encouraged to dig, scoop, and sort the materials, developing their fine motor skills and early mathematical understanding. In addition the children will be doing some Easter mark-making , where they will use forks to paint an Easter chick! The Easter water play will provide exciting opportunities for splashing, scooping, and pouring.

Caterpillars

In babies we will be enjoying making our Easter crafts and exploring our textures. Our babies have loved their textures and exploration of the last few weeks and so we will be enjoying making cards to send home and we hope you will enjoy them too thank you for all of your joining in in the last term and we look forward to seeing everybody after the Easter holidays.
