Clever Cats And Kittens

Throughout the next week the children will be learning about St George’s Day, the Clever Cats will be exploring the story of the St George and will be developing their fine motor skills to make and cut out their own England flag. The Cats will also explore the small world area and recreate the story of St George.

Ladybirds

Next week the children within the Toddler Room are going to be exploring St George’s Day. The children are going to be extending their vocabulary and learning some new single and multisyllabic words such as ‘Shield’, ‘Knight’, ‘England’, ‘St George’, ‘Dragon’ and more. The children are also going to be exploring cause and effect as they create their own St George’s Day flag using a ball to roll and throw.

Butterflies

In the Baby unit next week, we are planning to celebrating St George’s Day and to support our physical development we will be turning our soft play into our very dragon, navigating space safely and using our whole body to move across the dragon. This will support overall strength and we will make the soft play dragon more difficult to manoeuvre as confidence grows!
