WHAT WE ARE LEARNING - APRIL 21ST

Clever Cats and Clever Kittens

This week we will be learning about our planet and how we need to care for it, this will be by activities such as what items need recycling, looking at what we notice on our walks and the rubbish we see. Planting seeds and discussing how we grow foods.  We will be learning about St George's day who is the patron Saint of England and how he saved the princess from the dragon, also making various crafts associated with England.

Ladybirds

This week Ladybirds will be welcoming all the children from the Easter break, we will be focusing on recognising numbers and using blocks to count them (Easter themed), we will be participating in Earth Day which will involve nature, sensory, and creative activities that promote care for our planet!

Caterpillars

This week in the baby room we are excited to see our returning children after the break. We have LOTS of new starters joining us, so it’s time for Seun’s group to join us, we are all looking forward to welcoming you!

We will be making Easter prints using potatoes for our messy activity!

Lots of new friends means lots of new children getting used to nursery, please arrive with us by 9:30am. Also, please bear with us as this also means some children may be feeling a little bit sensitive.

There will be no baby club until May 15th, when we have settled in our new friends.
