The Old Vicarage has been recognised for achievements in providing healthy food options through the award of Recipe 4 Health.

Stringent criteria had to be met with regard to allergen awareness, healthy eating and environmental focus on foods, together with the level of cleanliness in food preparation and service.

The scheme is operated by Blackburn with Darwen Council's Environmental Health team, working in partnership with Public Health and the Healthy Living Team.

Well done to all the team at The Old Vicarage in helping to provide the children with fresh, home cooked and nutritious meals.
