Congratulations to our Chief Executive Clare Roberts on receiving the Barclays Female Icon Entrepreneur of the Year 2017. The awards are a celebration of the most innovative entrepreneurs and businesses, as voted by Barclay’s colleagues and a panel of regional and national judges from the wider entrepreneurial eco-system.
The ceremony, which was held on 11th October 2017 and was opened by Barclays CEO, Ashok Vaswani. Baroness Karen Brady CBE, best known by many as aide to Alan Sugar on The Apprentice, presented the awards.

Clare Roberts, Chief Executive of Kids Planet said “I feel really honoured to have won this award and to be recognised among so many great female entrepreneurs. I want to thank Barclays for their support and their nomination”.

Kids Planet currently have 22 nurseries within the North West with 15 settings rated as Ofsted outstanding and the remaining awaiting inspection.
