For instance, they hide a toy train in the tunnel and say, 'It is gone.' Older children develop as confident communicators. All children, including those who are learning English as an additional language, make good progress from their starting points."

instance, as they change children's nappies, they sing to them. Young children learn to make choices. For instance, they respond by saying 'yes' or 'no' to express their preference of which song they would like the staff to sing next. Children feel valued and they are emotionally secure."
