This award shows that we provide information and training to staff about the signs and symptoms of meningitis and the action to take if a child is taken ill.
All staff are aware of the importance of vaccination for the prevention.
They plan ahead by having a policy in place for the action taken if a child is ill.
And a procedure is in place to deal with a case of meningitis in the early years setting.
