The MiChild settings are raising money for this wonderful charity - Rainbow Trust
The charity helps families who have children aged between 0-18 years with life-threatening or terminal illness. Rainbow trust pairs each family with a support worker who enables them to make the most of there time together, giving them practical and emotional support, whenever they need it for as long as its needed. This includes
* Listening to the families fears and anxieties
* Helping to explain illnesses, diagnoses and treatments
* Keeping a seriously ill child company during hospital stays
* Driving families to medical appointments to help save time and money
* Organising fun activities to help sick children and their siblings
* Support through bereavement and grief.
Are staff team are walking the golden mile in Blackpool to raise awareness of the Rainbow Trust charity, we have also done the Great Rainbow bake off in everyone of our settings with the children.
