Organiser: Banana Moon Day Nursery Catterick Garrison
Things are hotting up for our Beach Fun Day.
This is to raise money to support the maintenance and upkeep of our new automated external defibrillator (AED), which is set to be installed in our nursery reception in the coming months. This is part of our ‘Little hearts, bright futures’ initiative, which aims to install over 50 AEDs in Banana Moon nurseries across the UK.
This life-saving equipment will help us to ensure our little ones have the best chance of a bright future, no matter what life throws at us. It also means members of our community are within minutes of the AED, boosting the survival chances of people who have an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA). According to the British Heart Foundation (BHF), early CPR and defibrillation can double the chances of surviving an OHCA.
We are looking forward to a fun-filled day with face painting, stalls, and plenty of ice cream.
Join us from 3 pm to help raise funds for our Defibrillator.
All welcome.
