View Full Details of Les Petites Etoiles Bilingual Montessori - AngelWe couldn't be happier with our daughter's experience at this nursery. Moving from Canada, we were nervous about how she would adjust, but the transition couldn't have been smoother. The teachers were incredibly kind and involved, and we truly felt like they were personally invested in her development - almost like an extension of our family. It was so reassuring knowing she was in such capable and caring hands. In just two years, she blossomed. Her language and math skills developed so quickly that it felt like we could see her growing and learning every single day. She genuinely grew to love learning, and we credit the amazing teachers for nurturing that curiosity and enthusiasm. The progress she made during this time was remarkable, and it played such a key role in helping us all settle into a new country. We couldn't have asked for a better start for her, and we're so grateful for the warmth, care, and dedication she received.
Wonderful nursery, both our children have attended since they were 18 months. My son has now started reception and has clearly been so well prepared by Les Petites Etoiles! We love the bilingual programme and the Montessori teaching. Of particular note was the support they gave to my son, including hosting speech and language therapy sessions and suggesting he attend Occupational Therapy. They are very proactive and catch issues early to ensure that support can be put in place. This has been done in partnership with us and has no doubt helped my son's transition to school. Both children have had the opportunity to explore all sorts of activities and enrichment and have learnt so much. They both love their teachers and built strong relationships, in particular, my daughter's teachers in the penguin's room were amazing with her when she found drop-offs hard. My daughter loves the food. I think my son might have benefitted from a few simpler options, but they catered for them being veggies very well.
Both our children attended this nursery, and we only have positive feedback to report. Super caring staff, great activities. The small size of the nursery is a plus. Food is prepared on-site and is varied. Thanks again to everyone at the nursery!
Both my sons attended this nursery and they both thrived. The staff is very dedicated and professional. It offers a truly outstanding education to all kids attending it. I have always been impressed by the quality of the teaching and activities Les Petites Etoiles offered. I can also say that I have only seen improvements in nursery in the last few years between the teaching over the time of each of my sons.
Enrolling our daughter here was the best decision I've ever made. It was a big step for me personally because it was the first time to trust someone else to look after my daughter other than me (and Dad). I found the settling in much harder than she did. However, the team at Mars (or Les Petites Etoiles as they are now called ) were incredibly helpful and kind. I chose this nursery because they offered everything I wanted - Montessori, French, Mandarin and their food. But I would recommend them for their exceptional staff. Their dedication, warmth and expertise created such a safe and engaging space for our daughter to explore and grow. The small size creates a real sense of community. My daughter has just finished her first term at Primary. Mars prepared her well and she is thriving there - I appreciated everything the nursery has done for us. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.
Our son loved his time at Mars Montessori Bilingual Nursery and we were thrilled at the care he received. It was a home away from home for him and he thrived there. The best thing about Mars is the staff, they are patient, kind, approachable and knowledgeable. Children are encouraged to be independent and interested in the world around them, with lots of excursions and learning about different cultures / languages etc. The nursery is quite small which we found really comforting for our son especially when he was starting. We honestly can't say enough good things about the nursery and team there. Thank you Mars!
Both of our children went to Mars Montessori and were very happy with the care they got, and really sorry to have to leave (we moved houses). It has been a delightful journey for the whole family, with empowered working parents thanks to long care hours and the knowledge that our children were looked after in the best possible way. The staff helped us with a variety of little hurdles along the toddler way, from potty training to getting them more confident in English (and French). I should also add that the food is healthy, balanced and varied. The cherry on the top for us is that both kids could go to the same school and meet up when one of them got a little homesick. Thank you to all the staff, both our children miss you dearly.
Our son was extremely happy at Mars and we were sad to leave due to moving house. The staff are very warm and caring and he made great friends as well as progressing his learning and skills through the excellent Montessori method.
I can only praise this small and wonderful nursery. Our son spent the past 2 years at Mars and we have watched him blossom into a confident and well rounded little person ready for big school. The philosophy and learning ethos is great, exposing children to different languages, cultures and activities while encouraging them to develop at their own pace and through their own interests. All staff are very caring, skilled and friendly (from teachers to cook, cleaners and manager). They have been very helpful in identifying problems and collaborative and supportive in addressing them, working with us as one team. Special thanks to the manager and her team. While the facilities are perhaps a bit smaller than in other nurseries, kids that age do not need much space. The space is used extremely well with lots of great activities and good outside space (when kids are not exploring nearby open spaces/parks). The 3-course menu is very well thought out and changes often. Highly recommended.
There are so many positive things to say about Mars, I am so glad we made this great choice for our daughter to start her life in learning. For us, it was sad to see her leave a place where they have built such a nice environment for them to learn, play and build friendships. Kudos to all the teachers that worked there, they must have had a patient of a saint to teach my little one. It was always a joy to come back home to hear my daughter singing French, Chinese and English songs or her telling me what they've learnt. And lastly, not forgetting the Chef, how they managed to get them to try all these amazing food they have on the menu that they produce, is beyond me.
We are very happy and grateful to the Mars team for the level of care and support given to our daughter over the past 2 years. She developed amazingly well in this Multi-language/Montessori setting and acquired a broad set of skills. Thanks so much to the whole team.
My children grew up as confident bilingual French/English individuals and Mars offered a valuable experience. My son was then accepted to a prestigious pre-prep, while my daughter still very much enjoys meeting her friends there. I would definitely recommend.
Our girl adored Mars Montessori: she began when she was a very shy 2 year old; and left as a much more confident and mature 3 year old. The staff were extremely caring and patient; and we were particularly impressed how much they tailored their care to each individual child's needs. And the meals prepared were fresh, original and really helped to extend our daughter's eating.
I am really happy about the choice I made for my daughter by choosing Mars Montessori for her early years education. The staff have always been so warm and attentive and they were very helpful in the delicate transition phase of settling in. Our daughter loves going to nursery and she is very close to all the teachers and staff. We feel it is a small, warm family and we know our daughter is in good hands. I love the fact that they always have initiatives and ideas on things to do, day outs, shows. The food is also very good and the menu is very varied and introduces them to international food. Being a bilingual nursery was really one of the most important things when I chose Mars Montessori and my daughter now speaks and perfectly understands three languages (French, English and her mother's language). Overall I am very grateful and happy about my choice as I feel it will be a great asset for her future education.
Our son has spent nearly 2 years at Mars and he has enjoyed every moment. The teachers are very caring but also enforce a certain discipline and values to guide children. Our child has made a lot of friends and has formed a strong bond with the carers. We are really grateful and want to thank everyone at Mars.
All three of our children attended Mars and each had a really wonderful experience there. What sets this nursery apart is the quality of the staff. They are sensitive, intelligent and well-qualified and always fully engaged with the children. They must be well supported by their managers because they seem a very happy team. Our children were offered a fantastic range of activities including specialist teachers visiting weekly (sport, yoga, dance/drama), frequent interesting outings (locally and further afield), hatching out chicks and butterflies, putting on a lovely show for the parents twice a year and lots more. The staff know individual children very well and are able to follow their interests and provide ideal learning materials. All ours were far ahead of age-expectations on finishing at Mars. Importantly, the children are taught to be considerate towards each other. We appreciated the secure webpage updates with pictures of what our child had been doing each week.
My son is now just three, he has been with Mars for one year now and we all LOVE this school. The teachers are super friendly and dedicated to children, and although the first week was difficult and a big change compared to home, thanks to them and the good atmosphere in Mars, our son was quickly looking forward to go to school everyday. He has made plenty of friends and keeps talking about his new experiences there. The numerous weekly "observations" with pictures and commentaries sent from the staff are also great and show the commitment of teachers to each child. I think it is the best way for our little boy to discover and love School. He will attend another year there, and his little brother will definitely go to Mars as well in due time.
I had both my children going to Mars Montessori and both of them were happy to go there every day. They not only did exciting activities and have fun, but they also learn letters, numbers and prepare for School. The teachers are exceptional in their care, support and teaching skills and for me that make all the difference.
