My daughter started at Kindred Shortlands almost 12 months ago and we're extremely pleased with our choice. The best I can describe them as, is an extension of our family; I feel they care and look after her as if she was a child of their own, taking an interest in her and her interests. They're flexible and pragmatic too, which is helpful given we're both in full time work and have no family nearby. She loves going and has been really settled there. We love the updates and can really see she is thriving. Thank you to the manager and team!

We've had a great experience with Kindred Shortlands. Our daughter loves it there and the staff are very caring. I feel completely secure that she is in safe hands every day. They do lots of activities with the children such as baking and crafts. Communication is always good too, with any queries answered swiftly.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on my son's nursery. Overall, everything has been great! The staff is caring, and the environment is nurturing. My son loves going there every day. However, I think it would be beneficial if they could dedicate a bit more time to teaching the kids new skills and concepts. That said, I'm really happy with his experience so far!

Our son has always loved going to Kindred Shortlands Nursery since his time in the baby room. He comes back home with a smile and is excited for the next day. He has plenty of opportunities to play outdoors, get messy and creative and learn valuable everyday life skills. We always feel heard and included in his development planning. The staff at Kindred Shortlands are not only friendly but also very flexible. When our little boy experienced some health issues last year, we received support beyond our expectations. I cannot overestimate how much help it was for managing our daily routines. In terms of the setup, the place is spacious and full of character with great facilities for each room. The food is delicious and freshly made on-site. I can wholeheartedly recommend Kindred Shorthands to other parents.

My daughter is in babies and the staff are excellent. She loves going to nursery every day and has really developed into a chatty little independent girl. Her confidence has really grown and the staff in Babies are so kind and nurturing. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

Our two children are going to Kindred Shortlands, the eldest being in preschool. He transferred from another nursery and was noticeably happier here at Kindred. Staff turnover is low and you get to know and trust the educators who are very friendly and cheerful. We also appreciate the family atmosphere of the place. The parties they organise for children and parents several times a year are a lot of fun for everyone. The food is prepared on-site and the children love it. Unlike some other places, it doesn’t feel like a large group with a more corporate identity, but a smaller, personable and friendly nursery. We have recommended this nursery to our friends, grateful for how settled our children have become.

A great nursery with kind, caring staff. Our little girl has been going for a year and she absolutely loves it! They have a lovely outdoor space, they do a variety of fun activities and the freshly cooked food is a real treat! Highly recommended.

I’ve got my two boys at Kindred Shortlands including an 8-month-old baby and we all love it. They both settled straightaway, even when my eldest changed nursery at 2.5 years old because of our house move. The staff makes all the difference, everyone is so lovely and caring. I can’t recommend them enough.

My daughter has been here for a year now and still loves her Tuesdays and Thursdays there. As a mum, I am still super happy with the care and support given to my daughter. All of the amazing staff, lovely food and brilliant activities make me happy and so confident and comfortable that my daughter is getting the best in her early years.

Over the years we have experienced different nursery settings for our children. We’ve learnt a lot as to what is really important and Kindred Shortlands has it. It’s about having long-term, caring, invested and talented staff that care for your children wholeheartedly. Our daughter is progressing so well socially, and educationally, with kind manners and great relationships. The variety and creativity that is offered by the staff also contribute to her development.

We had no hesitation in sending our youngest son along to the nursery at Shortlands, many of the team have been in place for years and did a great job with our eldest 5 years earlier! Our youngest started in the baby section and the staff made it easy for him to settle in and get used to the new environment. He has now moved into the toddler section and this was a seamless transition for him as the staff in both units worked together to make it easy. He loves going into the nursery and makes a point of cuddling all the staff as he goes in each morning, which is a great reflection on everyone who works there.

Our little one has attended Sunnyfields for well over two years and loves going every day. The staff are all really kind and clearly care a lot for the children. The staff are really helpful and go out of their way to accommodate additional requests. We will be sad to leave when it’s time for school in September.

I was anxious about returning to work as we had faced difficulties with my child using a bottle, but the nursery was great in supporting us with the transition and providing timely updates. My child has flourished, and there are noticeable developments and changes. The team will work with us to work on areas where we've been struggling.

Really love this nursery. We’ve used three other nurseries for our child care; one quite fancy looking, one quite basic and now Sunnyfields. The staff here are cheerful and bright; they talk to you as a parent in a human way, whereas elsewhere, we found hand-overs pretty robotic/copy-paste or unreliably vague. They really engage with our son and take the time to show him all sorts of new things to do and foods to taste. For us, the place is full of heart, our son skips in each day, and I couldn’t recommend it strongly enough.

My daughter loves preschool. She's been attending Sunnyfields for two years now, and I couldn't imagine her being anywhere else. We love everyone here; they are so friendly and kind.

Since my daughter started, my wife and I have seen such a dramatic change in her social and communication skills. This is all down to the wonderful teaching, care and support she has received at the nursery. The staff are always so attentive and receptive to our needs and ensure that my daughter is thriving. We are so happy that we chose to send our daughter here.

All of the staff at Sunnyfields are friendly and positive. They engage and communicate well with my son and us as parents. We like that the nursery does a wide variety of daily activities, which our son enjoys. We also like the various activities throughout the year, eg the Christmas play/party and the Summer Fair too. It’s a lovely nursery and both of our sons have been happy there.

Sunnyfields is an amazing place for little ones, with such a welcoming atmosphere, brilliant staff, and a real family feel. My kids have extra needs, and the nursery team tailors their approach to suit their abilities and makes them feel part of everything at the same time. Their development has really accelerated since starting at Sunnyfields, and I know they are in great hands when I drop them off. Oh, and the food is great too. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Our 18-month-old daughter absolutely loves going to Sunnyfields and has felt settled and part of the family from day one. She has come on leaps and bounds since joining just before her first birthday, and in six months has started to walk, uttered her first words (now saying the names of her friends and nursery staff!) and has tried so many different activities and meals that we would never have been able to do at home. I love seeing her photos and videos on the app (we'd love more!) as they make my day. The ability to see what she has been eating and getting up to on the app is very helpful for our own meal planning at home, and the team genuinely cares and listens about what she gets up to at the weekends so they can talk about it at nursery. She clearly adores the staff, and it makes us, as parents, feel very safe in the knowledge that she is having a wonderful time. We particularly love the variety of food and the size of the classes. Thank you to all Sunnyfield staff!
