My daughter has been at Stepping Stones for a year, and I couldn't be happier with our choice. Initially, I was concerned about her settling in at just 9 months old, but the staff were wonderful, and she adapted quickly. She has thrived, confident, happy, and learning so much each week. The staff genuinely get to know her likes and needs, going above and beyond to provide diverse activities, including ample outdoor time in the lovely garden. Each day at pick-up, they give a detailed summary of her meals, activities, and tips for encouraging her development at home.

We absolutely love Stepping Stones at Urmston. My older daughter attended here and had a great and thriving time and now my 18th-month-old son attends. He has a huge smile on his face every morning when we pull up on the drive. The staff are friendly, welcoming and professional and provide not only care for my son but also love! He enjoyed the activities that they do like cooking and water play and we appreciate the photos to update us on what he is doing. I would 100% recommend this nursery setting to anyone.

I am extremely happy with how the team at Stepping Stones looks after my child. The care and attention they provide are so reassuring and I am very satisfied with the feedback we are given about the children's development and what they have been doing at nursery.

Our daughter has been attending Stepping Stones since April 2024. She is usually quite clingy and unsure of new people but the staff at Stepping Stones helped her settle in so quickly. She adores her key worker and always goes straight to her for a cuddle in the morning. The nursery has a fabulous outdoor space and each day the children do lots of varied activities. My daughter has even brought cakes home which she has helped to bake. We are pleased we chose Stepping Stones and would recommend it to other parents.

My daughter joined Stepping Stones in Jan 2023 so has been there for just over a year. I can honestly say they have done amazing with her; when joining she was a very shy and quiet little girl who wasn’t the best in group environments, but now we have an extremely confident, intelligent, very happy little girl and it is all thanks to the wonderful staff they brought our child out of her shell in so many ways and there’s not a day she doesn’t come home and not tell me about something she has learned or an amazing story about the day she’s had, and always mentions the staff and how they have helped her. I couldn’t be more grateful for the work they have done with her. I have enjoyed looking through her folder, her development and seeing all the details they have given about how well she is doing. My little girl has also been a little picky with her foods, but the nursery have always helped and supported us all with this and she always has a healthy choice of meals every day.

Since my son settled in at Stepping Stones Urmston we have had no issues and my son always enjoys his days spent there. We always get photo updates of all the activities they are getting up to and developing their learning and motor skills which is reassuring and lovely to see! All the staff at Stepping Stones are really informative and keep in touch and are really keen to support my child’s development. I always feel settled and reassured when my son attends his nursery days and would highly recommend to any parent!

Friendly and homely nursery where our little boy (3yo) quickly warmed to staff and made new friends, after we’d moved house. We love getting his progress reports and hearing about visits to the park, library etc. He’s always absorbed in play or an activity when we come to collect him, which is lovely to see. The new outside area is especially good and the kids clearly love it!

I couldn’t be happier with Stepping Stones, my son has been going here since he was 9 months old and they have been nothing but amazing. His speech, his counting, his socialisation around other children have come on in leaps and bounds. They inform you of every little thing and keep your mind at ease always. I would recommend this nursery over and over again.

I was expecting to feel awful leaving my child to return to work but I cannot describe how comfortable I feel leaving my son with the staff here. He goes to nursery with a massive smile on his face and through the daily updates and diaries I am kept fully aware of what and how he is doing. The facilities are great and the staff are all so friendly and great with my child. I visited quite a few local nurseries before choosing Stepping Stones and I am so glad they have lived up to the high expectations set on the initial visits.

The staff are great and I especially liked the fact that they are responsive to my questions and concerns. My son has been flying since joining the nursery. I also appreciate their support for multicultural families and babies.

Our daughter has been here for two years, honestly can’t fault them! We moved her from a different local nursery who didn’t seem to care and it never felt like a bad decision. Our daughter has loved every day there and is very sad to be finishing soon. Great, friendly staff who always take the time to understand your child. We get a breakdown each day of what they’ve eaten, what her behaviour has been like and what she has done.

Stepping Stones is a warm, friendly and caring environment. All the staff take time to get to know each child individually and encourage their passions and interests. The children are given lots of different experiences to support their development in all areas. My son has attended Stepping Stones since February and myself and my husband are incredibly impressed with the progress he has made. My son is always happy to go to nursery and we find it hard to get him to leave at the end of the day. We particularly like the home-school book that we use to tell the staff about the activities our child has done when not at nursery. A great nursery and a great start to your little one's learning, I couldn't recommend it enough.

My daughter loves going to nursery at Stepping Stones and comes home telling me all about the fun things she has been doing and learning about. She has great relationships with the staff and has been supported in building relationships with other children too! I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for childcare in the local area.

We have been very impressed with the care at Stepping Stones Day Nursery. Our son currently travels with us for stretches of period at a time due to work commitments, and the staff have been so understanding and attentive to helping him resettle when he gets back. Whenever we have needed to communicate any needs or concerns, the nursery staff have given us their time and consideration with the utmost respect and positive attitude.

My daughter has thrived here, the staff are all welcoming and friendly. Knowing that my daughter is so well cared for helps dispel any anxiety whilst I'm at work. I especially enjoy and appreciate the work that goes into her progress folder and the suggestions from the staff towards her development. Thanks to the nursery team, one in particular, whom my daughter thinks walks on water!

This nursery is fantastic. Firstly the staff are so caring and are so attentive with our little one. Since coming to the nursery our daughter has developed so much. Everything from her speaking and listening to her numeracy and literacy skills and also her social skills have gone up dramatically. We can not thank you all enough for what you do for her.

Stepping Stones is such a caring and helpful nursery. My child has been there for nearly 4 years and has loved every minute. The staff care about all the children and love them like they are their own. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stepping Stones to anybody.

My twin boys have attended Stepping Stones Nursery since they were 15 months old and are now preparing to start school in September. Stepping Stones Nursery has been integral to their development, growth and preparation for school. They are consistently engaged in fun and exciting learning activities and love their time in nursery. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and provide lots of support and next steps for learning with guidance for activities at home. The nursery manager is very approachable and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I would fully recommend Stepping Stones Nursery to any parents.

Our child has loved this nursery as they are so family-orientated and make him feel so special. He loves going to nursery as he always has a fun time. The staff are professional and always have time to tell us about his day.
