View Full Details of Holyrood Nursery SalfordI am very pleased with this nursery. The staff are always smiling, and the manager is always there to help. My one-year-old son is always happy when he goes to nursery. They always have interesting activities, and my son learns new and exciting things. Additionally, I really appreciate that I always receive detailed feedback about how his day went, what he ate, and other useful information.
My daughter has attended this nursery for two years moving up from the baby room all the way to pre-school. The bonds she has made with the staff throughout her journey are beautiful and I am so glad we chose this nursery for her. Every morning she wakes up and excitedly asks if she's going to nursery today and when I go to pick her up she doesn't want to leave constantly demanding just five more minutes. Both my daughter and I are going to be very sad when it's time for her to move on to school.
My son has thrived both with his speech and his behaviour since being at this nursery, we honestly can't thank all the staff enough for everything they have done. He's going to miss you all when he leaves this month to start school.
My daughter attends this Nursery (started Sept 2023) and she has come on so well! She absolutely loves this Nursery and the staff are also lovely. She has created so many positive relationships with peers and staff. I am so glad I have found this nursery I couldn't ask for better.
Very nice and good staff, welcoming, taking good care for the kids, nice place my daughter loves to go there, they have enough place out door for kids to play with different activities, flexible with the parents.
My daughter joined this nursery more than 3 years ago. During this time I met different managers but no one was as good as our current manager. She made so many positive changes and she is always there for all my requirements. The staff is friendly and my daughter will have their kindness, fun times and cuddles always in her memories. We had no incidents in more than 3 years, everything was perfect.
From the moment I enrolled my daughter, I was made to feel at ease, as I was worried about leaving my very clingy and shy child without me. They were so patient and understanding with her, we have gone from tears when I left her at the beginning, to now smiles and waves. I feel that my daughter is cared for like one of their own, and her confidence has grown. I also like that they provide an assortment of crafts and entertainment for all ages and really feel the level of cleanliness has definitely improved with new management.
Staff are brilliant and have really helped my daughter settle into nursery! Lots of different activities and varied food options too. Offers an early start and late finish which is great to suit my working pattern!
Our son joined nursery late (aged 2) and remains under assessment for developmental l issues. The staff have worked really well with him so he has settled and started to connect with other children. This has now spread into his daily activities within the family in that he has the confidence to enjoy socially with other children (at the playground and in similar situations). The staff also worked hard to improve his speech which had been a problem when he first started there.
Lovely friendly staff members that get on well with my son. My son loves his food at nursery and enjoys all the fun activities they organise. He also loves how much time he gets in the garden and particularly the wheelbarrows! The only thing that can sometimes let the place down is when they have staffing issues - as with most places when they have a lot of sickness/annual leave etc the continuity is not as great and sometimes the confusion has made my boy less excited about going to nursery but all things considered I think the staff at the nursery do a wonderful job. I also only really get called to pick my son up should he be genuinely ill whereas I've heard elsewhere of parent friends getting called to pick up their child for the most trivial things.
Holyrood is a fantastic space, the staff are excellent and respond well to our requests and "directions" for our child. They catered to our request to use reusable nappies and wipes in the early stages. We are well informed as to the meal plan, trips and any upcoming events.
Really lovely nursery with very friendly and nurturing staff. An excellent outdoor area. Parents are always kept informed of activities and children's development through the app. Managers are flexible and they are able to accommodate extra days for our children when needed, which is a huge help for our work. Both my children are very happy there - thank you!
Staff are caring and the manager is very responsive. Outdoor space is big with lots of toy for kids to play with. The staff follow the guidelines strictly when incident happens and contacted the parents immediately.
My daughter has been attending Holyrood Nursery Salford for 6 months and loves it - she can’t wait to get in there and play with her friends all day and that’s credit to the staff. They make it a really friendly, welcoming environment. The activities and facilities are brilliant, my daughter comes home messy and shattered which is the sign of having the best time! The updates throughout the day are really good and help with the transition of leaving your baby at nursery - just great all around!
The staff are amazing with my child. I couldn’t thank them enough, although the nursery could do with more toys for the children. The room looks bare when I drop my child off - it always looks like there is nothing for him to do! Thanks to the staff who make it fun, I get to see this on the app, which is lovely. He has a strong bond with them all and for that, I am very grateful! Food is fab, always a great variety and smells delicious when I drop off/pick up!
My son started attending the nursery in January this year and he seems to enjoy it. The staff have been very friendly and accommodating as well and the nursery manager has been fantastic. My son is a very picky eater and after almost a year, they haven't been able to get him to eat his dinner. He is always hungry when he gets home which is around 6pm daily. I think a few concessions should be made for kids like this especially if they haven't changed in a few months. I mean a year is a long time. The app is not really detailed on what he has done during the day. Most of the time, it's just the menu for the day that is posted on it. The staff simply say he has been fine all day when you ask them how he did. Even when he didn't eat his lunch/dinner. There have been a few times he pooed in his pants and the poo soaked pants are put in his backpack which I find ridiculous since if he pooed in a diaper it would be cleaned.
My son has been to this nursery since January 2023, and he loves it. Even though English is the third language for my son, he picked it up quickly with a lot of help from teachers. Thank you very much for all your hard work. We are all happy and have never regretted that we chose Holyrood Salford.
My daughter started here in May 2023 and thanks to the amazing staff she settled in very quickly. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and it's easy to see that they genuinely care about the children. It's lovely getting updates on the app to see what she has been up to and the tasty meals she has eaten. I couldn't ask for anything more and the fact she runs in every morning without looking back says it all.
My daughter started nursery couple months ago. The girls and the manager are great. When I come there is a warm feeling, all the staff are friendly. I always feel comfortable and safe leaving my daughter. Just wanted to say a big thank you to all for making Maja have a lovely time at nursery. She has lots of fun and her confidence has come on so much. Thank you do much for all your hard work and for being such lovely, caring teachers to my daughter over the past few months.
