We are absolutely thrilled with our experience at Hartford Old School House Day Nursery. The nursery is impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a safe and hygienic environment for the children. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure each child feels loved and cared for. The overall environment is calm and tidy, creating a perfect atmosphere for learning and play. The management team is outstanding-responsive, approachable, and genuinely interested in feedback. They always listen to our concerns and suggestions, making us feel valued as parents. Most importantly, I trust Hartford Old School House Day Nursery wholeheartedly with my daughter's care. Knowing she is in such capable and compassionate hands gives us immense peace of mind. We have been so happy with the nursery since our son started 2 afternoons in September aged 9 months. He’s settled in really well, the staff are great and really care about the children. We have seen him develop so much and can tell that he really enjoys his time there.

Hartford Old School House offers an incredibly welcoming, supportive and nurturing environment to all of the children who attend. We know that our son has an absolute blast when there and loves the activities and excursions that they go on. The staff are warm and welcoming and are always keen to let us know how he has been getting on. We feel so privileged to be able to send our son there!

Nice clean environment, staff are all great plenty of variety in the meals throughout the day. I enjoy receiving regular daily updates where it’s nice to see my son enjoying his day and learning new skills.

An absolutely outstanding nursery, my daughter has been coming here since lockdown, she was the nursery's lockdown baby! The staff are absolutely amazing, can’t do enough for my daughter and me as her mother. I would recommend this nursery to anyone, and have done over the years.

I took my daughter for a show around the nursery to start in the coming April 2024. The place and rooms are beautiful and the staff are amazing. They are so kind and caring and made sure all my questions were answered. The staff really made me and my daughter feel so welcome and comfortable that we signed up to join the nursery. We can't wait to start our journey with you all.

My son has been attending this nursery for the past 3 months and has loved his time here so far. We have never had him cry when we have dropped him off he always lunges to go to the staff for a cuddle each morning. He has settled so nicely here which is a testament to how welcome and at home he feels with the staff and his surroundings. He loves his food here which I have to be honest when I visit the nursery it always smells amazing from the chef preparing it. The feedback, app and communication are lovely and even though my eldest son has never attended this nursery they always greet him and ask him about his classes etc. Lovely warm environment would definitely recommend.

They are the most kind and caring nursery! Every time I come in they make my little girl feel so special and welcome. So professional and approachable, amazing facilities and even better staff. I wouldn’t take my daughter anywhere else and I also didn’t go and look at any other nurseries as I knew that this was the one. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since being at Hartford, nothing is ever too much and the updates you get throughout the day make you know they are safe and well cared for.

My little one is so excited to go into nursery every day. Every single staff member is friendly and will always go the extra mile to show compassion and care to the children. I wouldn’t trust anyone else!

Having moved to the area in the last 18 months means we have used other day nurseries. This one is the best! We have one child in nursery and one using before/after school club and cannot fault the care our children get. They enjoy their time at Hartford Old School. What is more the team work with us when something comes up at short notice, that really does make a huge difference to stress levels, knowing if they can help they will! Other nurseries have been a lot less accommodating. Top marks for Hartford Old School, a great team, a great environment and supportive of parents to boot!

I love this nursery and all the beautiful staff that work there! After experiencing a terrible event at my son's previous nursery that left him in hospital I was so scared about sending him to a new nursery but knew he needed it for his development. But after visiting the nursery and seeing how homely, warm and friendly it is and chatting with the nursery manager who went above and beyond to make me feel at ease and make my son transition into this nursery as painless as possible I was sure it was the right nursery. 6 months on and my son loves it there, he happily skips into the nursery and is met by such lovely warm staff who he adores, and they adore him, he comes home and tells me what a good day he’s had and all the fun stuff he’s done, I genuinely couldn’t ask for more! I’m so happy I found this nursery, and I couldn’t be more grateful to the manager and her amazing team for what they have done for me and my little boy, it really is home from home and I believe the best nursery.

Our two boys attend the after-school club at the nursery. They really enjoy their time there. They are well looked after, fed very well, and given lots of activities to do and the staff and other children are great with the boys. Would highly recommended!

Both our children have been in the nursery since they were 4 months and 2 years old. Both are now in a local primary school. We still use the before and after school at the nursery as we feel the children are part of the nursery family. The staff are lovely! They have been really flexible and supportive around our working hours - in particular my husband's shift changes! All staff have played a huge part in both our children’s lives. Highly recommend!

Our 3 daughters attend the nursery and wrap around care. We can not fault the staff and environment at all. Highly recommend it to everyone who wants a supportive, developmental, trusted environment.

Old School House is a home-from-home nursery setting. Staff are warm and friendly and have such amazing bonds with the children. My little girl loves going into preschool each day and has a really close relationship with her key worker. She’s attended the setting since she was 14 months old and has loved all the rooms she’s been in. The outdoor space is also brilliant and the managers are so approachable and accommodating.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 9 months old and from the minute she started we have felt at ease. The staff who work there are all so professional, friendly and approachable. The facilities are exceptional and everywhere feels very safe for children. Communication is fantastic and the use of the online app system to keep me updated about her day helps to put my mind at ease. The food is amazing and my daughter enjoys every meal that she is given (all homemade!). My daughter loves going to nursery and the progress I have seen in her since she started has been huge.

My son has attended this nursery since he was 9 months old and I have nothing but great things to say about it. One of the many reasons we chose here was due to them having a separate (but still part of the room) sleeping area for baby’s and that there were many cots so that multiple babies could nap at the same time, this is not the case in most other nurseries. The staff are all fantastic, they are warm, attentive and playful with the children. Parents are kept up to date with their child’s activities throughout the day via an app but you do get a quick rundown at the end of the day. Facilities are also good, really nice outside area to explore and lots of things to keep them entertained. On occasion, they also take a trip out to the park, forest, library etc. Really good selection of food on the menu and my child always eats whatever they serve. A great nursery.

Excellent. My little girl loves nursery. It has such a lovely family feel, every staff member knows us when we drop off and pick up. The updates throughout the day are brilliant, really puts our minds at ease.

Wonderful caring staff who know each child's personality and easily adjust activities to match the child. With open-world play and external classes coming in I feel my child has a well-rounded week. Catering is brilliant with an onsite cook who makes everything fresh.

Our daughter attended Hartford Old School House Nursery between the age of 9 months and 4 years (she is in her final few weeks now until big school time!). We simply couldn’t recommend the Old School House Nursery more. The staff are beyond kind and they do absolutely everything in the best interest of the children. It has been a safe, fun, nurturing and most importantly caring environment for our daughter. Whenever we have had any concerns about our daughter’s welfare, the staff have always listened to us, no matter how trivial it might have seemed. The staff always go the extra mile to provide an amazing experience for the children such as trips to the forest, the park and bringing outside activities in such as football and dance. The food is brilliant, so healthy, they managed to get our daughter to eat things she never would at home! We couldn’t have asked for a better start in life for our daughter and we will be forever grateful to the staff and management.
