Kalgarth Grange Nursery School have been amazing since day one. All of the staff are great and our son loves every minute that he spends there. We also receive updates and pictures via an app so we know the exciting things our son has been up to.

Amazing nursery! Our little boy currently goes to Kalgarth and absolutely loves the setting, at such a young age too (just turned 1). The practitioners are all very professional, caring and compassionate when it comes to looking after the children. There is a real family feel to the nursery and it's clear the staff are all one big team. We have received daily updates of what our little one has got up to during his day, all the varied and fun activities along with photos! It's such a reassurance and comfort especially as working parents, to know they are happy and feel part of their day. Our little one has come along leaps and bounds too - they have supported him at each stage I.e. crawling, walking, communicating - and really encouraged his development through active play for each milestone! Feel really grateful to have a setting he feels so comfortable and happy in, and genuinely looks forward to going each day.

Outstanding! Our first daughter spent nearly four happy years at Kalgarth and loved it! We were so happy with it that when we found out we were pregnant with our second, Kalgarth were the first we told to ensure we secured a place for her. Our second daughter has now been there for just over a year and is looked after by a lot of the same staff who looked after our eldest - a sign of the consistent care given there. The staff are superb: kind, friendly and welcoming and both our daughters have thrived there. They offer a wide range of activities and regularly report on how the children are developing. If you're looking for a nursery, look no further than Kalgarth!

Kalgarth Nursery has been an excellent choice for our daughter. She has learned and developed so much whilst being there, whilst enjoying every single day that she goes. She wakes up each day looking forward to going to Nursery and always speaks about the nursery workers when she gets home. We couldn't have made a better choice for Nursery for our little girl. We love the way they celebrate national days and theme days and how they encourage participation with the children and how much the children enjoy this. We can tell every day that the nursery workers adore the children in their rooms, and the parents are always welcome too.

My daughter has been here since turning 1 and is about to turn 2. She absolutely loves it here, the staff are very warm and welcoming and you can see how much they enjoy spending time with the children. She did go to another nursery for the first 6 months as my eldest son went there and we moved her when he went to school nursery. To be honest I wish I'd moved both of them to this nursery earlier as we love it! I've rated value for money as a 3 because the cost of childcare is ridiculous but I know that all nurseries in the area charge similarly so that's no fault on the provider and more of a reflection of the system itself.

Great nursery. My eldest joined 5 years ago and then my youngest 3 years ago. We moved during Covid to the other side of town but we love Kalgarth and the staff we decided to stay here even though we have to commute. I think that says a lot and how grateful we are for the communication and bonds both my children have made at this nursery. Both children are more than ready for school now (both June birthdays too). The staff have gone above and beyond to teach the children and they are above what they are expected to learn before going to school.

I absolutely love Kalgarth and all the staff. It feels really safe and you can tell the staff not only care for the children but for the caregivers. I remember being really sad when my eldest started and they couldn't do enough to make sure we both felt at ease. My little girl is three now and is absolutely thriving thanks to the help and support from Kalgarth. There are always lots of different activities days to keep it interesting for the children. They also help and support to grow on your child's development at all stages. The food is always a great variety and lots of seasonal fruit and veg. My daughter skips in each morning saying hello to all staff members, she is always so excited to go nursery and to see her friends and teachers. What more clarification is needed when your child is happy and safe!

My youngest son is at Kalgarth, soon to finish and start school. I cannot fault the team at Kalgarth, with their care and support for him especially as he has some extra care needs around his speech. My elder son also attended Kalgarth and we have nothing but positive things to say about the nursery. I know that my boys have always been very well cared for and would recommend the nursery to everyone.

My daughter started in the baby room a few weeks ago and I am very impressed so far. The staff are amazing and have made me feel so at ease. My daughter is really starting to enjoy her days at nursery and this is all down to the professional settling-in schedule, the caring staff and great facilities. The nursery has a real homely feel to it. I feel that I can call any time for an update if I want to, and the app is updated regularly, again making me feel much more at ease. So far very happy that I chose Kalgarth Grange for my daughter.

We've had both of our children attending the nursery and moving through the classes and still have one there. All of the staff in each of the rooms are so lovely and kind and always have the children's best interest at heart. The nursery has a really lovely feel to it with plenty of areas for the children to play and grow and develop. They also take a really common sense approach to ailments and illnesses and always try and help the child as best they can and keep parents posted. I have recommended the nursery to lots of people and a few family members and friends are going to be sending their children there too based on how good it is. Really happy and grateful to everyone at the nursery.

I cannot speak highly enough about this nursery. My little boy has been going for over 2 years and absolutely loves it. The staff really understand and encourage each child, and the curriculum is so varied and engaging which without a doubt is what has developed his confidence, language and maths skills.

My little girl started just around her 2nd birthday, she was quite shy and didn't speak much, I really wish I started her earlier, she has done nothing but thrive since being at Kalgarth and has settled so well in each room as she has moved up. The girls are so lovely here and are so good with the children. I really wish I sent my older son here years ago! Cannot recommend enough, we have the opportunity to move her to a school nursery but I won't be doing it as we love it here so much!

Without a doubt the best experience for me as a parent and also my little girl who has been at Kalgarth since she was 11 months old. The team are beyond amazing, from caring for my child, to developing her through the years, instilling confidence and kindness which oozes from the team. As a child who has certain dietary requirements, the chef goes above and beyond to ensure my child is included, encouraged with food and goes the extra mile to make it an enjoyable experience. I cannot thank the team enough, Amazing, amazing, amazing! Thank you for everything.

First time parenting with lots of apprehension about my child going into a nursery and I couldn't have been more relieved. All staff are welcoming and kind. Staff take the time to listen to parents and make changes where possible. As the father of a child who has a disability, there are additional concerns about childcare/nursery, but Kalgarth have made sure my child does not miss out, that they make changes to accommodate and do it all without making parents have any concerns. They've been fantastic in every room my child has been in.

My little girl has been coming here since she was 12 months old. She started her journey in the baby room and I can't fault this room, the team here are exceptional and provided the care, nurturing and comfort my little girl needed while she was settling. The girls went above and beyond to ensure all my little girl's needs were met and provided a range of activities to allow her to develop early language, physical and personal, social and emotional development. My little girl is now in the toddler room and again she is enjoying her time in here. She comes home from nursery every week with a new skill and new milestones being developed; counting, simple colour recognition, animal recognition, physical skills, extended language and independence. It really is the perfect nursery for her and it is allowing her to flourish, learn and have fun every day. As a full-time working mum you can feel guilt, but knowing how happy my little girl is in nursery makes things so much easier.

My son started to attend this nursery just before he turned 2! The staff have been incredible at giving support and updates to us as he has been adjusting. When I had my second child my son really struggled with the change and then was finding it difficult at drop-offs (albeit he was absolutely fine when we left). The nursery did so much to support us and to aid in getting my son more comfortable at drop-offs again! They knew how much he loved space and planets and because of that organised his own sticker chart with planets he could put on when he arrived in the morning. Not only this but they then organised activities around space and even brought in a starlight projector for him! This goes a long way and I know how much effort and time this takes for the team to do but they made it seem like it was no trouble. My son now runs in without even turning around to say bye! As a parent you just want to know you are doing right for your kids and I know Kalgarth was the right choice!

We have been amazed at the level of engagement, experience and skills of the staff here. Our two children moved here in September when we relocated. Our children instantly settled and were encouraged and loved by all staff. We were so touched that they held a little cake celebration on my daughter’s first day as she’d celebrated her birthday just a few days before - a really lovely welcome. The staff are brilliant, engaging and so positive and it’s quite clear that the staff and management love their job and the children. A special mention to the staff members whom have particularly supported our children as key workers. Highly highly recommend this nursery to anyone exploring local nurseries.

Myself and my wife sent our youngest son to Kalgarth Grange Nursery in 2020. Our son is about to go to Primary School in September 2023. We are so annoyed with ourselves we did not send our oldest son who went to a different Nursery. I honestly cannot praise the Nursery and the staff enough, every member of staff including the cook. Myself and my wife are so happy with what they have done for our son. We do not have a single bad word to say about the Nursery and if anyone asked me would we recommend we would absolutely do so in a heartbeat. Our son always bounced into Nursery and never got upset or stressed when we left him. In our opinion an amazing Nursery with amazing staff, amazing education and amazing values. Well done Kalgarth Grange the best Nursery.

Our daughter has had a fantastic 3 years at the nursery and is leaving a very confident and happy little girl. The staff are amazing, so patient, dedicated, caring and great role models. I’d highly recommend the nursery.

I am glad that I have picked the correct place for my kids. They are happy to be there every day. Also, the nursey provides good food which my kids love so much and nearly finish all of them every time. The nursey organises different activities for the kids every month, which let the kids have fun and know more about the world.
