My child attended this nursery from 2023-2024. We didn't have the best start here, having been concerned about the care inspectorate report we had a meeting with the new manager. However, by the time we started, she had already left. I only found out this months later as it wasn't communicated to us. When we started communication wasn't great and we weren't told about anything learning journals, social media groups etc. Our forms were lost too. Also, pictures were posted on social media despite my preferences on form. I can only comment on the 1-2 room. The staff were good, two were particularly excellent. My daughter developed well there. Handovers were chaotic most days, often had to wait for a long time, hunt for shoes, crying children ignored. The staff there were doing the best they could but they need more staff at these key times or a better process. We were also not informed of the most recent care inspectorate review, which highlighted multiple safety concerns.

My son attended Little Stars Alloa since he was 10 months old, he is now ready to start school this year. Since then, I haven't had any concerns or issues to raise. More recently he has been in the 3-5years room, and it has been a positive experience throughout. The staff really know my son, and how to manage any distress on a personal level. He has a lovely relationship with the staff, who are all fantastic. The management team have been great, providing updates via the newsletter regularly. The nursery room is big and filled with all different activities, there was always something new being set up when I dropped my son off. The garden is probably the best nursery garden in the area, lots of space and things to do. I really can't fault the care my son experienced here.

Little Stars is a fantastic nursery. My son thoroughly enjoys the preschool room. Both my children have attended from 9 months, and I could not fault the dedication and hard work of the adults within the setting. The communication is fantastic, and I have always felt that my son is seen and heard. The outdoor space provides so many great opportunities for the children. I will be sad to say goodbye when my youngest leaves for school in August.

My daughter has been learning so much at nursery, she spends her time in the youngest room. I hear about her new experiences each evening when she is picked up and get updates in our social media group and on her learning journal. It makes me so happy that she has these opportunities from such a young age. Her learning journal includes milestones and observations. Activities she has participated in this month include helping make snacks (like soup and cake) and sensory play with herbs, engaging smells as well as touch and taste. She is learning Makaton and has grown greatly in confidence since being at nursery. Thank you to all the staff for supporting her.

I've had my child in Little Stars for a year and a half, and feel very lucky to have secured a place for my child. The staff work tirelessly and passionately to attend to the development, wellbeing and overall enjoyment of the children in their care. Every day I'm impressed by my child's vocabulary, ability to string sentences together, and motor skills. It is hard to have to have your child in nursery 4 days a week on a full-day schedule, but the sad reality is that it's the world we live in. However, the developmental milestones he's made thanks to the nursery allay my concerns about him being away for so long. The staff are considerate and professional, but I especially appreciate that they inform you with interest and awareness of your child's interactions while in their care. It is clear to see that the wellbeing, health and development of children is their central goal and I feel they're doing an amazing job. I'm a very pleased Dad with a very happy boy. Thank you Little Stars.

I have 2 children who attend this nursery. Both absolutely love going to nursery and enjoy their experience here. I like that they have the opportunity to do extra activities such as Spanish. It would be good to see the rugby class come back to nursery as well.

My son has been attending Little Stars in Alloa since he was 6 months old, from day one of starting all of the staff have gone above and beyond with him settling in and ensuring that he is meeting all of his milestones and development. Staff have excellent communication with parents and always ensure that a detailed handover is provided at pick up and if there are any concerns throughout the day they always call. Since starting there have been a couple of managers however more recently a Manager and and Deputy Manager who, again, both go above and beyond and nothing is ever a bother, have an excellent manner and are very easy to approach. All staff and children appear very happy and settled within Little Stars with a warm welcome each day

Our little one loves Little Stars Nursery and I think that’s a great reflection of how well this nursery nurtures him, children are very honest. As parents, we love to see his connection with the staff as well as the other children. We also love the little updates both on his day each time we collect him and on his development and the activities he has been taking part in. A major feature that encouraged us to choose this nursery was the fantastic outdoor space, which our son has gone on to thoroughly enjoy since starting here. Indoor spaces are also very well suited and surprisingly always clean and tidy, despite lots of little ones running around and having lots of fun. All in all, we love this nursery and we appreciate that our child is shown kindness, and respect and is encouraged to both have fun and learn when he is here we would recommend this nursery to any parents who are looking for childcare.

My son has been attending Little Stars since he was a year old and he is now almost 5 and ready to move onto big school. Every single one of the team at Little Stars has become like family to my son. Everybody is so kind, caring, enthusiastic and welcoming. We've had our ups and downs over the years, especially the difficult times after Covid. I feel fully confident leaving my child with all of the team at Little Stars. I'm confident he is engaged, well cared and progressing nicely.

Little Stars provide fantastic facilities indoors and outdoors for the children. My daughter loves the outside and plays with water. The activities are well planned in accordance with her age and helped to stimulate and develop her skills. The daily reports are helpful and holistic. All the staff are extremely supportive and ans and helpful, sometimes even beyond their role. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing staff, very welcoming and always smiling. My son loves coming into nursery and goes away happy which makes me happy. The outdoor space is amazing and the full set up inside also. Great buzzer entry into building knowing kids are safe. Also good to keep in touch through his book for communication with the staff and parent about what your child has been up to in the day at nursery. I couldn't be happier with the staff and management around great would recommend to anyone.

Little Stars Alloa is the best nursery I have used so far, having recently moved to Alloa from another town.Tthe staff are so helpful and always put so much effort into day-to-day activities but also special events for families including summer BBQs and Christmas fayres. Their garden area for the children is huge and so varied so the kids can have lots of outside time. Management couldn’t be more helpful and genuinely care about all the kids and make time to speak to all the parents. Thanks for all you do.

My son (aged 4) has attended Little Stars Alloa from the age of 2. We have had such a positive experience with the nursery. They supported me through periods of adjustment and created true bonds with my child. My son loves the variety of indoor and outdoor play. The level of investment in the outdoor play has been amazing to see and how much all the children use it. The structure of learning and quality of updates has been great.

Very modern facility which has recently undergone an overhaul with lots of new wooden toys and equipment. Staff are friendly and helpful. The meals provided are of a high quality and daughter always has plenty to eat.

Excellent nursery. My little girl has settled in well and enjoys going to nursery. Much better than the previous setting she had attended. Staff and management are excellent, go above and beyond to help and make you feel as welcome as possible. Would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for childcare.

My little girl loves coming to nursery! The staff love her and she loves a good cuddle from them too, after a nervous start to the bigger room the staff have been excellent and so patient, I couldn't have asked for a better place to take my daughter and I feel reassured she is looked after while I work.

Total peace of mind for us, I can't give higher praise. My child can't wait to go and he doesn't stop talking about it when he gets back! He seems very engaged in what he is doing there and is a smiley, happy little boy. Thank you.

Our daughter is attending Little Stars Nursery since she was 6 months old, and it has been the best decision. The staff is always welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic to see our daughter and she is well looked after. Our daughter has Down's Syndrome and although the nursery did not have any experience with her condition before she arrived, they are very willing to learn and to apply what they have learned in practice. Our daughter is fully accepted and included in all activities, treated exactly the same as the other children. She is learning new things, practicing skills, interacting with the other children and thoroughly enjoys her time at nursery. Communication with us as parents is great and I love the large outdoor space. I would highly recommend Little Stars Nursery.

Five-star nursery. My son has been at Little Stars Nursery since he was 10 months old. The staff work so hard for interesting and engaging activities for the kids. I receive plenty of updates through the app, daily diary and also the occasional social media post on the private page. My son receives lunch and snacks provided by the nursery. It has a good menu, however, if he doesn't eat the meal, I have found that they will make him a sandwich, so he's not hungry. All the staff are wonderful and genuinely care for your little one. My son has built up good relationships with both staff and the other children who come to nursery. The only teeny thing I would say needs updating, is the invoice process. There should be a way that you get a breakdown of the invoice, perhaps all maintained within the app. However, that is something that could perhaps be looked at in the future. Currently, invoices are sent via email. Just would be handy if it was on the app and you could pay via the app too.

I would definitely recommend Little Stars Alloa. The outside space is amazing, and the staff are great. Always learning new topics. My child hasn't had any issues and loves his time here (1 but it was dealt with quickly and correctly), runs in and doesn't look back. He loves spending time with his friends and teachers. The rooms are clean and full of resources to keep the kids busy. Would definitely recommend this nursery.
