We have been very happy with Sunhill. My eldest daughter has attended for over a year. She is happy, well looked after and has learnt lots of new skills. The staff know all the children by name and there seems to be very low staff turnover (a very good sign!) I feel very comfortable leaving her in their hands. They take all the children out for a walk in the local area twice a day which in my opinion can be better than an outdoor space as she is more streetwise and exhausted from all the walking. They regularly take them to parks and the library, have external sports and Spanish teachers once a week. I feel like the activities are varied and yet there is a strong routine that makes the children feel safe and secure. I know the managers are working on better parent communication and there is a newsletter once a week. My younger daughter will start there next month.

Sunhill Day Nursery Peckham is wonderful, both the setting and staff is incredibly pleasant and my child has settled and has come on leaps and bounds since starting. Managment lead the nursery with pride and are very welcoming every morning and afternoon. The staff are incredibly polite and very helpful. I have never had a problem with the treatment of my child and their is very well open ended communication. The app is updated daily with either photos or written updates. The staff are all notably brilliant and a credit to the old station faculty. There are daily activities set out for children including sports, reading, arts and crafts and Spanish lessons. While there isn't an accessible outside play area they take my child out twice daily and have an indoor play area. The chef provides a wide variety of cooked and cold meals for the children with many flavours and fresh ingredients.

Thanks to the nursery managers for creating a great environment at Sunhill Peckham. Our daughter looks forward to attending every day and always comes home with a smile. We appreciate the friendly and honest nursery managers.

Our two-year-old son has been attending Sunhill for around a year. He started off in the baby room and is now in the toddler room. He was unsure at first as it was a new experience for him and the first few times he cried when he went in. However, now he always runs through the door with a smile on his face every time! He was also not very sociable in general before but has completely transformed since he's been going there. He is a lot more friendly and cheerful with all the kids and adults he meets (not just in the nursery). The staff are extremely competent and communicative, also the manager is doing a fantastic job including putting on extra events for the kids and parents. There isn't an outside space as such on-site but this isn't a drawback as they regularly take the kids out for walks to various local parks. He loves all the food there too which is a massive bonus as sometimes he is a bit fussy at home. I can wholeheartedly recommend this nursery with no reservations.

Fantastic daycare facilities! My son loves attending the nursery. The introduction process was quick and easy, and the settling sessions made my child feel right at home! My son looks forward to coming to nursery every day! Lovely place and very local.

The staff need better communication within the team, once you tell a staff member important information about your child and request for this to be passed on it never is. They also do not take the afternoon children in the baby room outside for fresh air, one of the staff members told me this herself and I was extremely displeased. When I would ask what my daughter had eaten, I was told that they don’t give the babies food but snacks in the afternoon but when speaking to another staff member, I was told the opposite. Communication is terrible at this nursery and needs to be worked on.

Very homely atmosphere for children. My child is now 15 months old, and he learned a lot of skills from the nursery since he started. The staff are lovely and treat the babies like their own. We are very happy we found this nursery; it's a "home away from home" for our child. Very grateful to all the staff for looking after our child. You are all wonderful; you should all be proud of what you do for the children.

Good attention. Excellent service. My girl is very happy with her teachers - every day great performance in learning. They have taught her to share, to count, to know all the colours. Very good nursery.

Lovely staff and nurturing to the children, excellent baby room. The facilities are great, with excellent learning tools and toys for the children. No outside space, but the local parks are utilised on a regular basis.

An excellent nursery and lovely staff. Our son is 18 months and absolutely loves it; he runs in through the door every morning without looking back! The staff really care and take the time to get to know the child. Would definitely recommend.

The weekly updates and daily updates are great, plus I feel supported in my child’s development both in pre-school and at home. I’m confident my child will be ready for school because of the amazing support and guidance received by the Sunhill team.

Unclear in regards to payment. I often explained my concern about my son's meals, but I had no response. My son is happy with the carers and I am satisfied with his learning, honestly. I was upset once I had to pay ten pounds for ten minutes late, even if I collect my son always later than the drop-off time. I lost lots of money every month as there was a misunderstanding at the time of signing the contract.

My son has attended this nursery since he was one, and we all love it. He skips in, in the mornings, and every day he tells us he has had a great day. The staff are amazing - it really feels like they care about the kids, and they go above and beyond. We were initially unsure because of the lack of outdoor space, but they do take the kids out regularly to local parks or for walks. My son especially loves the trips to the train station and the Chinese supermarket.

Both my children have attended Sunhill and are very happy there. The staff greet the children with happy smiling faces every morning, and they are so happy to go in every morning. The staff are extremely caring, understanding and loving toward the children. We are enjoying the use of the app and seeing a little more about their days. The only downside for us is there is no outside space on site, but the team do their best to take the children outside every day, and they are creative with their activities.

My daughter has loved being at Sunhill. What makes it special is the staff who have years of experience and genuine joy and love to help nurture and educate the children. The space inside is small, but the staff always try to get outside to different areas - which I think is more valuable in learning about road safety and exploring nature than having private outdoor space. The team have moved to update via a parent app, and we love seeing the updates on what the children are getting up to - would love to see more! Admin and communication to parents have been pretty good - we were immediately welcomed when our childminder had to quit quite suddenly due to the impact of Covid, and Sunhill were very accomodating and reassuring in settling my daughter in. The curriculum and way of learning are varied, and I particularly like that they take into account the different cultures and hobbies of the children to ensure things are interesting and fun.

The staff are always welcoming and easy to talk to. Our son settled in quickly and runs in happily in the mornings. Although they don’t have outdoor space, they take the children out for long trips outside - arguably giving them more room to run around than in a small garden area. We are always kept well informed of daily activities, and the staff are knowledgeable of the EY curriculum and how to best support children in their development. One teeny tiny improvement would be if the app was updated slightly more regularly. It would be great to be able to see on the app how much sleep they have at the end of each day, and I love seeing the photos of the lovely activities. However, the staff will always tell you all the information at home time; I just have a memory like a sieve. Overall, we are so happy with the flexibility of having a term-time only place, and the lovely staff make it such a positive experience.

A fun, friendly and very welcoming nursery, even in current times! They have always kept us informed on daily activities, naps, food etc, and it is reassuring that they keep clear notes on each child’s behaviour, developments and progress. It’s nice knowing that they also take trips out to the park, as well as have a huge range of toys/playtime/activities inside too. I really like the flexibility of being able to choose school hours too, and have always had a clear and quick communication with support services as well as the nursery management too. Our little one runs happily into the nursery, nothing more positive than that!

Both my children have attended Sunhill Peckham. We're really happy with the friendly staff and activities that are run there. My youngest loves it and talks about nursery positively. They have consistent and caring staff. The same people who looked after my eldest now look after my youngest, so we really appreciate the continuity of care.

Wonderful nursery with caring staff. Very clean and has great food. My daughter loves it. She has a lot of friends there, and she practically skips to and from the nursery. Would recommend it to anyone.

We have been very happy with Sunhill Early Learning. The staff are so friendly and warm and made the transition to starting nursery very easy. Our son talks about them with affection. The space is light and airy and always feels clean - it feels like a good size for the amount of children. The only negative is that there is no garden but the staff compensate for this by taking the children out every day - often to the park for picnics and games. In general there are lots of activities such as painting and water play and we've been very pleased with our sons progress and development - particularly language. The food is healthy and varied. In general I highly recommend this nursery.
