View Full Details of Banana Moon Day Nursery DyceMy son only goes to nursery once a week but it is quite clear to see that he really benefits from being there. He obviously loves nursery and all of the activities the staff set-up for the little ones. We can really tell he has bonded well with all of the staff too. He can be quite a fussy eater at home but the food and cooking seems to be right up my little boy's street as I often see that he has eaten all, if not, more than one portion of his food! From our first meeting at the nursery, we never had any doubt that this was the nursery for our little boy. Each staff member is nurturing and involved with every little one there. We love all of the additional activities that the nursery create not only inside of the nursery, but outside as well that we can get involved in at home. We love the stay and plays, where we can join our little boy in his nursery environment and see how confident he is. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for one!
I must say I was so stressed about sending my daughter to nursery at first. I didn't know which nursery she should go to but after speaking with a few people and reading reviews we chose Banana Moon Nursery in Dyce. It was the right choice. I'm so happy that my daughter goes there because I know she's in a safe and nurturing environment where she can thrive. The staff there are caring, and supportive, and really take the time to understand each child's unique needs. I love seeing my daughter excited to go every day, which shows how much she enjoys the activities and the friends she's making. The nursery's focus on both learning and play allows her to develop new skills in a fun, creative way. I feel reassured knowing she's receiving a well-rounded experience that will help her grow, both socially and emotionally.
I was incredibly anxious as I'm sure a lot of first-time mums are about leaving my son at a nursery so I could go back to work. Banana Moon Day Nursery Dyce made the entire experience of him getting settled into the nursery stress-free. I love that they have the app that gets updated throughout the day so you know exactly what your child is up to and you get to see pictures of them having fun playing with their friends. He has been at Bananamoon Dyce just over 2 years now and I completely trust them with my son and my son loves it there.
Since our daughter joined Banana Moon Day Nursery Dyce last year we have noticed a huge leap in her development. The staff are all kind, caring and compassionate and it's clear they have the children's interests at heart. The app provides us with regular updates about our daughter's day and lets us know what she has been up to which is especially important as she isn't yet talking.
Our daughter loves nursery. They honesty have been so helpful with my shift pattern forever changing. Nothing is ever an issue. We love hearing what our daughter has been up to when she gets out of nursery and the app is fantastic to see our daughter's progress. They aren't only supportive of her in the nursery but also of her development at home with ideas and explanation of the educational factors to my daughter. The nursery definitely looks after and cares not only for the children but for the parents aswell.
Our son has been in the nursery for more than 2 years and his little sister started just before Christmas. Staff have always been so caring and both our children go in without looking back in the morning! They are coming on so much with their speech, motor skills and they come home happy. The app is fantastic for keeping up to date with the activities the children do and communicating with nursery staff.
Poor weather in the northeast, the nursery ran like clockwork, our daughter was treated safely and with care that we value greatly which allowed us to carry on with our own working day knowing our daughter was in good care, we had no disruption to our daughters care days during the bad snow which was exactly what we needed.
My son has been here since August. I think and honestly, he's just come on leaps and bounds, the girls are so good with him and he enjoys going to nursery. Can't thank the staff enough for all they do with the kids and love the little updates you get throughout the day.
My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. Everyone is very lovely and friendly. I feel very confident that my daughter will be well looked after. I would really recommend this nursery to everyone.
The nursery staff are absolutely fantastic! They are all very engaged with the children and you can see they have built connections with them all. They appear to respond quickly to any child who is upset and they always act when a child might be in doing a dangerous activity. Whenever a staff member has left for maternity leave, I hear parents discussing their worries that their child may struggle with their key person gone and I think it's a testament to the staff that parents express that their child has built a new, strong relationship with another staff member! The lady who does the cooking has done a great job, as my fussy children seem to only eat at nursery. They take the children out and help them engage with the world around them which is extremely important at this age. They're very good at dealing with children and adapting how they work with the children and treating them as an individual.
Amazing organisation through December with lots of activities for kids to enjoy the festive season and get some Christmas spirit going. My daughter got to enjoy meeting Santa for the first time, Christmas jumper day and Christmas party. Thank you for everything you do and all the love you give to kids.
The nursery keeps developing and their policies are updated frequently. I've got the feeling that since my daughter started nursery three years ago, many things changed for the better which doesn't mean that it was bad before - just the opposite. I think they keep reviewing their rules when necessary, are very flexible and change as per children and parents' needs, for example in terms of health and safety or learning/playing facilities. Staff and management are helpful and never irresponsive.
My son is in Baby Moons and currently transitioning to Mini Moons - he absolutely loves nursery and all his friends and the staff. Over Christmas, he has been excited and talking about mini-moons at 2 years old. The staff are fantastic and plan varied activities daily, work with the parents on issues and have been supportive through eczema/allergies in regards to creams, medications needed and adaptations to diet etc. Could not speak more highly of the staff and nursery.
We have an autistic son and he really struggled at his previous nursery. He was very unsettled before he got to Banana Moon Day Nursery but all the staff worked with us to make sure he got the best care possible before he moved on to primary. We couldn't be more grateful. Our younger son also attends Banana Moon and he loves it there, the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and understanding.
Banana Moon Day Nursery Dyce has provided exceptional care for our child, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children thrive. The staff's dedication and genuine care are evident in their personalised approach to each child's development, fostering confidence, curiosity and social skills. They go above and beyond to ensure every child feels valued and supported, tailoring activities to meet individual needs. Communication is excellent with regular updates, photos, and feedback that give parents peace of mind. The nursery promotes holistic growth, balancing learning with emotional well-being. We've seen remarkable progress and we wholeheartedly recommend Banana Moon Dyce to any parent.
Banana Moon Day Nursery Dyce has cared for our children for almost eight years. They have enjoyed every visit and always come home excited and exhausted which tells me they've had a great day. The staff are all fantastic, many have been there for a long time which speaks volumes about the quality of the management team supporting the nursery. Nursery facilities are excellent with modern outdoor space which is used as much as possible. The nursery uses an app to keep you informed of your child's day and this is always updated with stories and photos daily. The staff really are a credit to Banana Moon - always a pleasure dealing with any of them, the kids get on great with them and most crucially, I know my children are in the best care when they are at nursery. I honestly don't have a bad word to say in eight years of experience.
They have always taken a personal interest in our child's well-being and development. There are also amazing community initiatives such as Christmas parties, stay-and-play sessions and many others throughout the year to promote engagement for parents and children alike.
Both my boys have loved going to Banana Moon Day Nursery. I see them learning new skills all the time. I also love that they get outside to play most days. The staff are all really encouraging and supportive and take the time to give feedback every day. I love that they have an app to share pictures of what they've been doing and it's a great way to communicate with the nursery.
Great nursery, feel that my child is very well cared for, his independence and personality are encouraged. The staff are very welcoming and bond very well with the children. The facilities are engaging and educational and the app is very comforting to see what they are up to during the day. It's also very easy to contact the team and hear back within the same hour sometimes.
All the staff are so lovely and friendly. They have been such a wonderful source of support for me, as I'm a first-time mum and feel I have no clue on child development or things to be on the lookout for. They have also helped me with any forms as I find difficulty with these. They always open the door with such a fantastic and welcoming smile. I also love getting updates on the app, it really puts my mind at ease knowing he is having a great time - sometimes I even get jealous of all the fun he's having and I want to join in.
