Our twin daughters have been attending Colourbox since they were one year old & we cannot speak highly enough of the care & education they have received. From the first day, our initial worries about leaving our little ones in unfamiliar surroundings were put at ease. The staff has been nothing short of exceptional, creating a warm & nurturing environment where our daughters have thrived. The Montessori approach has had a positive impact on their development. We have been amazed by the progress they have made in all areas, from their confidence & independence to their cognitive & social skills. The Staff's dedication & passion are evident in everything they do. They have gone above & beyond to support our daughters' individual needs & interests, fostering a love of learning that will stay with them. We are extremely fortunate to have found Colourbox Nursery for our children. We wholeheartedly recommend to any parent seeking an outstanding early years education for their child.

My daughter has attended Colourbox for nearly 3 years and I can't praise them enough. The Montessori teaching practices, I feel, are crucial to children and teach them how to be independent, thoughtful and respectful of everything and everyone. My daughter has certainly succeeded in all these areas whilst at Colourbox with the help of the outstanding teachers she's had from the beginning of her journey. The teachers in the preschool room, where my daughter currently is, are amazing. She comes away with such knowledge and passion for the areas in which she is being taught during her time at the nursery. The food is high quality and my daughter eats 2 lots of everything! It's fully nutritious and I never worry about her eating there! Can't recommend the nursery highly enough and will miss them all when my daughter leaves for school next year.

A truly amazing environment for children to grow and learn in. All 3 of my children have attended Colourbox, one now at school, one in Ocean Room and the other in Sky. I have witnessed the teachers at Colourbox support, guide and develop my children to be independent, kind and self-motivated. The whole ethos of Colourbox is child-led learning. They help to foster interest in different topics which has sparked my children to understand a broad range of subjects. They did a great job in preparing my eldest for school, ensuring she had the ability to manage the transition well and hit the ground running. They are well-trained and have the skills to manage all situations. They worked proactively with us to manage a medical condition in our youngest child and make suitable adjustments. In summary a very positive environment, with friendly and engaged staff who care so much. What a great environment to start your children's lifelong education in.

The staff there are amazing. My son loves going to school, all the staff are friendly, they are very patient. All the children come out happy each time that I am picking up my son. My son is always chatting about the activities he did while he was there. He loves the cookies they made for Valentine's Day. He always gets a lot of cuddles from his teacher.

Couldn't be happier with the care and education our little one receives. The staff are caring and experienced. He has been attending since he was 11 months old and he still loves going to 'school'. The only downside is the cost but this is justified by the standard of care they provide. We are expecting our second and I will be adding them to the waiting list soon.

Our daughter has been at Colourbox now since October 22. She is quite a reserved child but she has grown in confidence, loves going to nursery, made friends & loves telling us about her day. The nursery staff are amazing, and informative and show real care for the children and our daughter loves to give them cuddles when we leave for the day. There are so many activities that the nursery staff involve the children in throughout the day, with care, thought and fun interest of the children. We love it when our daughter brings her creations home! Lovely memories to treasure. Highly recommend this nursery setting!

Our eldest went to Colourbox Haverhill almost 6 years ago and we had such a lovely experience, our new 9-month-old baby now attends. We couldn’t be happier. They clearly have a very strong staff retention as all the same team members are there 6 years on, which creates such a lovely familiar feel. The staff are so caring, in fact, I don’t think they realise the true impact they had on me personally when my first attended. They will care for your child like they are their own child, they are understanding, professional and informative. Hats off to all of the staff here! You’re all great!

All staff at Colourbox are friendly and very accommodating when it comes to looking after my son. My son loves spending time at Colourbox. The children are kept busy and entertained throughout the day.

Colourbox Haverhill has been an incredible part of our children’s learning journey. My eldest has recently started reception and it is wonderful to see how the foundation knowledge from nursery has set her up beautifully for school. My youngest is 2 and has been attending for over a year, he loves the free-flow play to the garden. The teachers are amazing and always show some much care for all the children.

Our 17 month old absolutely loves the Colourbox. All the staff know her by name and she’s welcomed every day with positive energy and enthusiasm. Staff adapt to her needs so well and support her with her little endeavours. Every day there are a number of activities to keep the children engaged and entertained. Our little girl gets excited when we get her ready in the morning for nursery and she just thrives here - very confident, happy, inquisitive and independent little lady. The Colourbox have a tasty and healthy meal plan each week and our little one is known to have more than one portion on occasion. Snacks and fruits are provided too so she’s fed well each day. We highly recommend Colourbox.

My son has been attending Colourbox since April 2022. Naturally, I worried about him when he was so upset to go in, but never once was I made to feel like I couldn’t check up on him, in fact I was encouraged to! I would call various times throughout his sessions and each time my call was welcomed which I was very happy about and I was always given the time of day. It took a few months so I’m so grateful to all the staff! He now skips in and is asking to go in at the weekends! My son has thrived at nursery and is coming on leaps and bounds in all areas, especially his speech! He was referred to speech therapy outside of nursery last year, but now he comes home singing new nursery rhymes which he loves to tell me he learned at nursery. There is such a range of resources at the nursery and I never see him playing with the same thing twice. The staff are all so lovely and I can’t sing their praises enough. I have another child who will be starting in a few months. Can’t recommend enough!

Our little girl has been at Colourbox for 6 months now. She loves her nursery teachers and has been developing so much. She has a love for books and every time I collect her I am told how much she enjoys her reading time. We have taken some of the activities she does at the nursery and created them at home, as we are often told how often she enjoys the sensory areas. The staff at Colourbox are really friendly and have bonded so well with her. She recognises them and is very comfortable around them. The staff are brilliant and always very informative with her daily activities. We particularly like the diary we get from the nursery each day she has attended. It really put our minds at ease when we first had her join (being first-time parents, it's always a worry as to what she will think). If you want a nursery that will develop and care for your children then Colourbox is the place to go!

My son has recently started nursery and he loves it there. He is excited to attend and will ask if it's nursery today. He will often be singing songs he has learnt at nursery and talks about the friends he has made. The staff have always been very helpful and happy to discuss any concerns. The food selection is brilliant. The range of activities and learning is great.

2 year old currently attends and has done since the age of 6 months. The nursery has been brilliant from day 1. Daughter is on multiple medications and has multiple dietary requirements and they’ve managed both without any issues. Our daughter is always excited to go to nursery and asks about seeing certain members of staff throughout the week. She sings songs she has learnt at nursery and recites parts of the alphabet. She’s always clean and well-presented when we pick her up. Any problems during the day, the nursery always call to let us know. Communication is excellent. This is our second child to attend the nursery and we always recommend it when we are asked.

Our son is advancing incredibly well due to the great support he’s given at the nursery. He’s excited to go every day and every day seems to come home knowing something new. My son has a restricted diet and they cater for him perfectly. We’re very happy that we chose this nursery!

Both my children have attended Colourbox Montessori School - Haverhill. One from 18 months and one from 8 months, I had no qualms putting my 8 month in the arms of the setting and staff after watching my 18 month old grow and flourish in their care. His speech came on beautifully with them and his character shone. My baby girl has done the same, she has felt confident to share her experiences of life with the staff and despite being a COVID baby, her personality has built and she is now very confident, capable and articulate. I cannot rate this facility highly enough. They are a 100% choice for me. They are also great with me as a parent, and all staff communicate beautifully and clearly through the channels.

My daughter has just started attending Colourbox and has settled in really well. She doesn't cry at drop off or collection, which is a good sign, and babbles away after attending, so we know she has had a busy day with lots of stimulation. The meals provided sound delicious and the staff are very caring and professional. The only slight negative was I thought the induction questionnaire should have been completed a week earlier, as it didn't leave much time to sort out medication for an allergy. Otherwise, this is a fantastic nursery!

We've taken both our kids here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery. The staff are always friendly and my daughter is always happy and excited to see the staff in the morning. The way they teach here is also brilliant. You can clearly see the differences in a child who has gone to the Colourbox and who haven't.

Our son has attended Colourbox since he was nine months old. Over the last 18 months, he has grown into a caring, attentive and bright young boy and learned so much along the way. He has a lovely relationship with his friends in his room and they seem to have their own little community going on. He also feels safe and well looked after by his teacher who has done so much to help him learn so much. Every week he surprises us with something new! Would recommend Colourbox to anybody.

- nursery teachers are great and my children have learnt a lot which has helped their development. Would recommend Montessori method for learning. - be prepared to have at least 4 weeks extra off work a year for children being sent home with minor ailments such as toothache, small raise in temp that’s still normal as won’t let parents give Calpol - will consistently reference infectious diseases policy as a reason but does not work as sending kids home after the infection period and all kids get the same minor illnesses. - also be aware of annual increases in cost even when your children require less adult supervision. - overall good for kids learning and social
