Our child really loves going to Happy Days Penrice, from the start they have made us all feel so welcome and happy leaving her in the hands of the lovely, smiling staff members who do an amazing job keeping her safe, looked after, educated and entertained! It's a lovely warm space, with a lovely outdoor area so she can never get bored. She really enjoys the food that is provided, lunch in particular always goes down very well! Really can't recommend it enough, I was a little apprehensive about her starting nursery but they've made it so easy for us from the start and we have no worries at all, knowing how happy she is to go into nursery and how much she loves her key workers makes us really happy too!

My 3 year old son has been at this nursery now for a year and has loved his time in the toddlers and preschool rooms. The staff are all so lovely and friendly, and he can't wait to tell them about his weekend/etc. He loves to sit and have cuddles with them. He has come on leaps and bounds with his talking, counting, and imaginative play. They encourage him to use the toilet and potty, and he eats a far wider variety of foods than I could ever offer (and it always smells delicious!!). My 1 year old daughter also attends the setting in the babies room, she goes to the lovely staff with a smile on her face. She demolishes every meal, and I can tell she has been well cared for and had a lovely day! The staff are always able to recount everything that she has done/eaten, which proves that their full attention is on the children. The management team work hard, stationed right by the front-door and greet all the kids with a smile and chat. Emails and calls are always replied to promptly

Our son has been attending Happy Days Penrice since he was 9 months old and we've always been impressed with the professionalism and kindness of the staff, which is a great relief as a parent. Our son is relaxed, confident and keen to learn while there and comes home well fed and full of stories about his day. I must also mention the amazing lady who cooks at the nursery as the meals are varied, wholesome and have helped our son's confidence grow around food - he will eat nearly anything he's given and is always keen to try new things. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery and we'll be enrolling our baby daughter later this year too, to follow in her big brothers' footsteps. Well done all.

My daughter has been going to Happy Days Penrice since she was nearly 6 months old and I could not recommend them enough. She absolutely loves it here and is always so excited to go in every morning. The staff are absolutely amazing and show so much care towards my daughter it's not wonder why she loves it so much here.

We are incredibly grateful to all the staff at Happy Days Penrice for the exceptional care and attention they provide to our little boy. The team consistently keeps us informed about his progress and addresses any concerns with professionalism and kindness. Our son has a language delay due to being bilingual, and enrolling him in the Language Enrichment Program has been a transformative experience. Thanks to the staff's dedication and expertise, he has made remarkable progress, and we are confident he will be well-prepared for reception next year. It brings us so much joy to see how excited and happy he is to attend nursery every day - he looks forward to it even after a weekend at home! We couldn't be more pleased with the nurturing and supportive environment at Happy Days Penrice.

Penrice Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School. Today was my son's last day at nursery, due to withdrawing him from Penrice Nursery after he was a victim of verbal abuse from a colleague. After following every avenue to ask for this colleague to be removed from the room it was declined. Please be aware families, this incident that happened was far from the nurturing environment the company proclaim as their ethos. If I hadn't happened to walk past the window at this particular time I would have been none the wiser. Please be aware when considering this nursery as would hate for any child/parent to experience the ordeal we had to endure. Along with the complaints procedure where I was told no witness statement was needed to conclude their investigation/disciplinary, no integrity and lack of process, which tolerates such behaviours. Please take this as a warning, I honestly hope this will not happen again to any child within their setting.

Happy Days Nursery clearly shows a lack of empathy to parents who have clear grounds for concern. Yes policy and procedures have been followed, however putting a colleague who has committed acts of gross misconduct back into a setting with the same child that the offence was committed against is grounds for neglect which clearly happy days can not see. Even their Head of Quality has a lack of professionalism and unable to apologise and respond to our complaint. An absolute abomination of a company, avoid at all costs! Today was our son's last day at nursery, due to withdrawing him from Penrice Nursery after he was a victim of verbal abuse from a colleague in this nursery. Please be aware families, this incident that happened was far from the nurturing environment the company proclaim as their ethos. If I hadn't happened to walk past the window at this particular time I would have been none the wiser. Do not put your child into this Nursery.

My experience so far with this nursery has been nothing but excellent, from when I drop them off to when I pick them up, I am always updated on different things such as nappy changes to food they have through the app. My child always comes home with the happiest smile, and they have improved drastically in themselves. The services the nursery provide are also superb, I wouldn’t want to change the nursery as well.

Penrice Happy Days is fantastic, the staff are outstanding, four members of staff in particular are so friendly and approachable which is great as first-time parents! The rooms are well decorated, there are plenty of toys for our child to play with (and new toys come through too which is great for variety!). There is a well-structured curriculum and we always appreciate the regular updates on the app!

My daughter currently attends Happy Days Nursery and has for almost 3 years. My son attended previously. I have nothing but positive things to say about the nursery. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Both my children have really bonded with the team and my son till now, returning on drop off and pick ups with his little sister. The staff are supportive of new milestones e.g. potty training and work with you to continue what you have done at home. The online platform is regularly updated so I can see what my child has done throughout the day. She takes part in a wide variety of activities every day including plenty of time outside! I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

We adore the whole setup of Happy Days Penrice. Our daughter is always so happy to talk about her day and what she has been up to. We love hearing about the activities she does throughout the day, and how much fun she has had. Her confidence has blossomed and she is coming home teaching us all the new things she has learnt. A big thank you to six members of staff in particular.

From our initial visit to Happy Days Penrice on an open day to our daily drop offs and pick ups, all of the staff have been, and are, so friendly and were the reason we chose this nursery for our son. They take a genuine interest and care for his well-being and development and provide some great activities in a nurturing environment. They communicate with us really well about our son and everything going on in the nursery. No complaints so far!

My son has been going to Happy Days at Penrice since he was 13 months old (now 2 and a half years); I have so much appreciation and praise for the staff. My little boy loves nursery, he has learned so much and developed new skills through play and exploring in a safe and caring environment. I couldn't have chosen a better nursery and have always felt safe and settled knowing my son is in very good hands.

My son had recently started at Happy Days, I was so nervous and anxious about leaving him for the first time ever however, the staff at Penrice were so lovely they made me feel reassured and cared for my son beautifully. The staff are very kind and approachable and have great systems and processes in place to ensure the safety of the children. My son always comes home happy and content after a fun day. We are very happy with our experience, thank you.

Great staff and rigorous systems reassure me that my child is safe and thoroughly entertained. The app is great for regular, entertaining updates on my son's daily routine. I like the way that you can reply/engage with the individualised updates, creating a memory chain.

Lovely staff, couldn’t fault them. My boy has thrived since being here! And he loves it. Highly recommend this nursery. One member of staff, in particular, is amazing! But they’re all understanding and super supportive,e and thanks to them, my son is now more verbal and more confident and thriving.

Penrice Happy Days are extremely accommodating to parents navigating the challenging world of parenting for the first time. Although one of the larger childcare providers locally, it always feels like there is such thought in the education given to the children. Also extremely reliable and rarely ever an issue with staff levels.

My daughter started in September and has done nothing but grow in confidence. All of the preschool practitioners are fantastic and go above and beyond to ensure the child thrives in a safe and nurturing environment. My little girl has gone from not saying a word to anyone to being a complete chatterbox, I'm so pleased we chose Happy Days Nursery & Preschool Penrice.

My child started in September and comes home every day with the biggest smile on their face eager to tell me all the exciting things they have done. Feedback from the practitioners is second to none, very informative and you never feel like you are being rushed out the door. The new app they have introduced is amazing and makes me feel so involved with her learning and nursery experience even when I'm not with them. I wouldn't want them to go anywhere else.

Amazing experience for us! My daughter started off at 8 months and is now 2 years old and I don’t have any complaints really. The nursery staff are truly caring and my daughter is excited every morning to leave for nursery. The new manager is so great and you can tell she loves the children. I would recommend this nursery for any parent looking for a good childcare setting for their little one.
