Wonderful support team with children's with extra needs. Always communicate and can reach the team in the app well. They take concerns seriously and act upon them and help you with any issues you are having at the current time. Build excellent bonds with the children and can always approach management if needed.

My son attends nursery 3 times a week, he thoroughly enjoys coming to nursery, he has a great bond with his key worker and the team within the room. I have great parent partnership with the team too. My son learns lots of new things which has shown massively in his development.

My child has been attending nursery since she was 5 months old and absolutely loves going to nursery and she has a lovely bond with the staff and has made some beautiful friendships, she always has such a good time and the staff send some lovely updates on what she's been doing through the day.

Since joining in October 2024 I can honestly say our experience here has been outstanding. The staff are second to none, kind, patient, and devoted. It is the staff that make the nursery so special. My child is happy and thriving she loves her time at nursery and I know the care she is receiving is consistent and of the highest standard. Activities are engaging and are age appropriate. I am so happy my child attends here.

My child has attended other settings up to the age of 3. She was very unhappy and didn't thrive in nursery environment. Since attending Hermitage she is reaching full potential and hitting all her milestones. The staff in preschool are fantastic and give quality care for my child. The offers and experiences are amazing and I love seeing daily observations of what she has been up to. The management is outstanding and always helpful with any queries. The only thing I would say needs improvement is more outdoor resources. I am very happy that my child now loves nursery and is no longer a battle in the mornings to get her to attend.

My child has been coming to the your nursery to which she is very happy and always looking forward to attend. The staff are experienced, supportive and makes my daughter feel welcomed. My child is very happy to which makes me happy. Many thanks

I have had 2 children at the nursery, and both absolutely love it. They both go in every day excited to get to their rooms and see the staff and other children. The bond both my children had with all the staff has been amazing. All the staff knows each child, not just by name, but by who they are and their characters. My daughter has just finished at the nursery, and they have done a fantastic job making sure she is as school-ready as she could be. On top of the amazing staff, the facilities, food/menu, communication, and activities are also fantastic. Also, I really love the daily photos of my children so I can talk to them about what they did during the day. Outside of this, the Special Educational Needs Coordinator support has been fantastic, at not only supporting my children and helping them develop but also supporting, guiding and educating us as a family. Thank you for everything you do.

A caring and welcoming nursery. The staff are amazing, always helpful and make it a priority to know each child. Good variety of food and snacks. Love that we get a daily photo of an activity when our child is at nursery. Really excited that Forest School will be a part of preschool this month.

My son is so excited when he goes to the Nursery. I can see him always happy and enjoying time spent with his colleagues. The most important is to see your little one safe and smiling and not be scared of leaving him with others. This is a wonderful place with passion and with people who care about your child

Excellent nursery. Our son loves it here and is always happy. They do so many interesting activities with the children, and all the staff seem to have genuine care and concern for each individual child. We had quite negative experiences at another local nursery and moved our son here, so it was such a breath of fresh air for him to be absolutely thriving here. The only downside is that the nursery has very little outside space and no green space. It would be nice if they had a large outdoor space for some mini-forest school activity. They do take the children outside into the playground area every day through rain or shine which is great.

I am very pleased with how they have cared for my child, who has settled in well and really enjoys attending the nursery. I would recommend the nursery to others because when I have raised an issue they have done well to resolve it and have also offered support in sharing ways to improve learning. They also do offers for extra sessions and run events throughout the months.

I can't speak highly enough of Hermitage Day Nursery. A fantastic nursery with second-to-none staff, they truly are a credit and I can't thank them all enough. Our little girl has come on leaps and bounds since joining. Nothing is ever too much hassle and I honestly feel our little girl is in the best hands possible, whilst me and her dad are working. Morning and evening handovers are always detailed and me and her dad love getting updates during the day via the app of what she's been up to. The facilities are amazing and cater for such a huge type of needs and development stages. I'm so grateful for our space there and would recommend the nursery to any parent.

Great nursery, and really puts the child in the forefront. The baby room staff are amazing; right from the start they did everything to make sure my little one felt comfortable and loved. My daughter always leaves with a smile on her face at the end of the day. Highly recommend.

My son has been attending the centre for around a year now, we moved internationally so this was a big transition. The team worked really hard to support him settling in and he has subsequently progressed up through the various rooms well, growing attached to a few teachers particularly. The centre has a well-provisioned outdoor area and they try to take the children out and about when they can, or have organisations come in to run interactive sessions. The facilities are typically British, as is the scale of the building and rooms, traditional. Meals are hot and prepped on-site. It’s overall a good centre and we haven’t had any concerns. Some minor feedback; term reports haven’t always captured or reflected what my son is able to do which is disappointing, key milestones missed. Your child will always receive a lot of care but this isn’t a school-ready or academic centre if that’s important to you, there could be more implemented to help children who are ready begin some phonics etc.

My son has been at Hermitage Nursery School since he was 9 months old (now 18 months old) and has enjoyed being there since the start. Since moving into the older baby room he has just bloomed and developed so much! All of the members of staff are lovely from the office staff to the cleaner! The whole nursery team are so caring towards all of the children they look after there and it really makes my day dropping my son off and him wanting to be there with the girls and all of the other children. I could not be happier with my choice of nursery for my little boy, it's a really lovely place.

We have always found this nursery to be a fantastic place for our children. Not only are the children well looked after but the activities are all entertaining and educational. The food is prepared on site and nutritional and varied in tastes too.

Brilliant nursery! My child has come on leaps and bounds since starting there! The staff care for the children as if they were their own. I have 100% trust in leaving my child there. Can not praise all the staff members enough!

I can't praise Hermitage Day Nursery enough. My son started in 2021, being a lockdown baby I was very worried about how he would settle but I shouldn't have worried. He instantly bonded with his key worker and the other staff, and has continued to develop a bond which each key worker when he moves into a new room. His confident and positive social interaction and communication has really improved by going to nursery, and is continually commented on by others. How confident he is around people, adults and children alike. The staff really get to know each child, what they like and dislike and plan activities that suit the children and will make a change if needed to accommodate if my son is not settling well that day. He loves the routine and the food and always eats everything there. The rooms and the outside area have been well thought out and set up. As a worried first-time mum, I have no worries when I drop my son off as I know he really enjoys his time there. Can't recommend enough.

Fantastic nursery! My son loves it and the staff are amazing! They do so many varied activities with the children and getting updates throughout the day is just the best! Would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of sending their children here!
