This is a brilliant nursery I couldn't be happier with the care my daughter is receiving. It is like a home away from home. My daughter is so happy going there and has made lots of friends and learning lots too. The nursery employees are so kind and supportive and go above and beyond looking after the children in their care (and their parents!)

We have had nothing but positive experiences since our child started. The staff are kind, caring, and courteous. They are clearly passionate about what they do. Whilst some nurseries claim to have a 'home from home' ideal, they actually achieve that here. Communication is impeccable, we always know how the day has been, what they have done and what is planned for the coming month. Any concerns or incidents are managed and communicated brilliantly and we have absolutely no concerns leaving our child here.

OCB has been like a home from home for both our children over the last 4 years. The setting is beautifully equipped to meet the developing needs of the children and feels very homely. The staff are amazing and welcoming and go above and beyond to make the children feel settled and content. The communication is great and they are always looking at ways to improve things through things like parents' forum and additional family days etc. I would highly recommend OCB to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming space to leave their children.

This nursery is great and staff are extremely good at looking after my little ones. Both of my children attended/are attending this nursery. It is lovely and everyone is kind and patient to my children. I feel confident to leave my baby here.

Fantastic staff and environment. My son loves every day at nursery, he is always doing something exciting and fun. The staff are warm welcoming and more like friends/family. He is excited to arrive every day and does not want to leave, it allows us to work without any guilt, he is happy well cared for and has developed so much. All the staff are involved, know who we are and what has been happening at home, the stay and play sessions are excellent. I couldn't recommend them any more.

My daughter is my second child to come to Old Croft Bank nursery and I would 100% recommend sending your child here. The staff are amazing and so is the chef. The meals they prepare are of huge variety and most days, I am envious of the choice they have. The play areas are great inside and out. One of the great things is that the garden is big and not overlooked. My daughter came after covid at 18 months so she knows the majority of the staff, she misses nursery when she isn't there and even named her doll after one of the carers. I picked Old Croft Bank nursery years ago because of it's home from home feel. If you have the time just book to look around and you won't regret it. The app they use is great too, daily pictures and updates to what they are upto is a great tool.

My child has been attending Old Crofts Bank for the past year and we are really pleased with it. He has settled in really well, all of the staff are lovely and everyone is always very friendly. We viewed a lot of other nurseries in the area and chose OCB due to the staff, the outdoor provision and the number of rooms provided for different age groups. He always has a great time at nursery and often doesn't want to come home as he's too busy having fun!

I currently have 2 children at the nursery, one in the preschool and one in the baby room. My children both thoroughly enjoy their days at nursery, spend lots of time playing outside (the nursery has a lovely 'trim trail' for the older children to climb and play on) and are provided with well-considered and planned activities to help with development. They both have a key person assigned to them, who they absolutely love and have great bonds with. There is a menu displayed at the entrance each day so we can see what their meals will be and they always have lovely nutritious and varied meals (which smell amazing when we arrive each morning!). Communication with parents is very good - this includes photos and updates on the app each day, plus a lovely detailed report at the end of term. We also get a newsletter each month detailing activities and events going on in the nursery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone!

Both of our children have been at this nursery, and we have seen it change over the years. In recent months, particularly with the addition of a teacher in preschool, our daughter has flourished and is more than ready for school.

Brilliant nursery and lovely staff, everyone at Old Crofts Bank Nursery School has helped our daughter, from when she started as a baby, to grow into a mature and kind young lady, ready and prepared for primary school. Our daughter loves coming home and telling us about her day at the nursery and can't wait to go back for another day. The team are very kind and knowledgeable, I would highly recommend this nursery.

We love Old Crofts Bank, the new staff have been a great addition to all the original best, especially my child's keyworker. The outside space is great and the reason why we chose the nursery, but the overall care for the children is of the highest standard.

My daughter started at Old Crofts Bank in January and the team could not have been more helpful. The nursery worked hard to reassure us as parents and to help our baby settle in quickly. They keep us up to date on all of her developments and know her really well. The team are very kind and knowledgeable and my daughter loves her nursery days. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery, I feel my daughter is in very safe and caring hands.

My daughter has attended the nursery from baby room to preschool class. She has developed so much and loves her friends. The staff are amazing so much skill, patience and knowledge with children. The manager has turned the nursery around. Great mix of Nursery staff with so much love and care for the children. It's a joy to send my daughter to Old Crofts Bank.

My daughter loves the staff in her room and seems to learn new things each day. She has fun when she's there and I'm confident she is well looked after. I have had uncertainties previously about bank staff but this seems to have settled down now.

Fantastic nursery and preschool, the team clearly take time to get to know your child as an individual and supports them to explore their interests. Our son has settled in really well and enjoyed making new friends and using all the facilities.

My little girl has been coming here since September 2022 and is always happy to see everyone, especially when her key worker comes in. All the staff go out of their way to make every child and parent feel welcome, which reassures me that she's in good hands.

Feeling emotional today as I drop my grandson off for the last time at Old Crofts Bank Day Nursery. Why did we choose this nursery? It has maintained a good reputation in the area over many years. Despite the anxiety around starting a child during a lockdown, we felt reassured by the consistently calm, warm, and friendly staff. I can honestly say they have smiled through what must have been the most challenging of times. There are some excellent practitioners at Old Crofts Bank. They provide a stimulating environment both inside and outdoors, the food is tasty, and child safety is paramount. The e log provides a fascinating and reassuring glimpse into your little ones day. They have gone above and beyond to meet the additional needs of our grandson, and we will be forever grateful for this. Thanks to their endless patience, flexibility and empathy, he has made excellent progress with them and they have been the first vital step in his educational journey.

My grandson thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery and I love reading about his day and seeing photos of the fun activities he's done. The staff are friendly and caring and give excellent feedback. I am happy knowing he is happy.

My daughter has settled really well into the nursery and that’s thanks to the care and attention of all the staff. There are different learning through play activities each day which help her to build confidence, skills and knowledge. The food menu is great, varied and nutritious.

We are really happy with the quality of care provided at Old Crofts Bank. We looked at multiple nurseries before choosing and this was the only one that had comments about and felt like a home from home. The staff are approachable and have fantastic relationships with the children. Our son absolutely loves nursery and often doesn't want to leave at the end of the day! I couldn't recommend them enough.
