View Full Details of Little Chums Pre School - East GrinsteadBoth our daughters love Little Chums. The team make their time together so much fun. The children are encouraged to be free and learn to make choices. I love that they can have so much outside time, whatever the weather, and they always organise fun trips and outings. We as parents are always kept well informed of what they're doing. A great pre-school! Highly recommend.
Both my children have attended or are currently attending Little Chums (East court) in East Grinstead. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. With a good ratio of staff to children each day. It's not overcrowded. Never had any major issues whatsoever, with the kids being able to participate in learning activities a lot - it definately shows quickly at home. Parents informed via the app and private closed social groups online. Regular trips to the nearby parks, woods, fields, town often take place with the kids loving all the outdoor time, which is why we favour little chums over other pre schools in east grinstead.also very understanding about allergies (my daughter is a coeliac).
My son is 2.5 and he started attending little chums at the beginning of January. He had a great time from the 1st day and settled in well. He comes out every day saying how much fun he had! The staff are lovely and great at encouraging and distracting my son on the odd day that's he's a bit hesitant to go in. We have received some great feedback about his time at the nursery, what he gets up to each day, and how he is developing.
My little boy started going to Little Chums in September 2024, he loves it so much, going outside, playing in the forests, being allowed to jump in muddy puddles! I love how all the children are allowed to get as messy and muddy as they want. He is always so happy when I pick him up telling me all about his day. All the nursery's workers are so kind and caring and that really shows when my son talks about them all the time to me.
My little boy started at Little Chums in spring 2024 on 2 mornings a week. I wanted him to meet other children who may be going to the same primary school as him and to mix with others outside of his childminder setting. He can be cautious of new settings and situations, but settled in so well at Little Chums. He now goes one full day and has lunch there, as well as attending the half day. He takes a packed lunch, with a fruit snack too. The team are encouraging healthy eating and nutrition. He loves it! The outdoor play, woodland exploring, walks into town, visits to the library, the farm and more are all well organised and involve learning through play. He's had a sports day, a nativity and a party. The staff team are excellent. He will be sad to leave in the summer to go to school.
