View Full Details of Busy Bees Dorking Chichester RoadMy little one has been at this nursery for two years and we definitely feel like we've made the right choice! They've been in each of the rooms and it's been so lovely to see their progression. The team are great at keeping in touch and providing updates. Communication is good, with regular updates on the app and emails from the manager. There is plenty of outside space and lots of activities to do. Overall, the nursery is on the smaller side but this is a positive for getting to know other parents and your child establishing good relationships with staff and peers.
A great nursery we couldn't recommend more. It was a tough experience to have our daughter start school but they were extremely helpful and we feel at ease knowing she is being well looked after. The ladies in Bombos are amazing and very friendly. We have seen a massive development in her, even after just a month. We love the emphasis on outside/garden time, it's one of the reasons we chose Chichester Road and they have not disappointed!
Our boy absolutely loves his time there and is really happy. It's got beautiful grounds and great facilities and the staff are wonderful. There are different activities every week and he learns a lot.
Lovely place, the outdoor space is amazing for the kids. The team there are lovely, friendly, caring and always going the extra mile. Can't recommend enough. A good mix of activities for the children.
We've found Busy Bees a great environment with wonderful staff for our little girl. They really settled my nerves at the start and have continued to provide excellent communication throughout. Always happy to help with any concerns and our daughter skips out the door every time with a smile on her face.
Fantastic nursery with lovely staff who go above and beyond for our little one. There's always a huge range of activities for the children and themed weeks. Outdoor play is encouraged whatever the weather which is great! We receive regular updates throughout the day via an app that tells us what she's eaten and number of wet/dry nappies and what times etc. Overall, a great nursery! Would definitely recommend.
Our daughter has been at Busy Bees from 1 year old all the way through to she left for school, and she has truly had a wonderful time. Because it's a small nursery, she was known and cared for by all the staff and she's made some dear friends. The nursery really upped its game with a new manager in the last year or so, who has allowed the staff to be incredibly creative and fun activities. This has kept nursery interesting, engaging and stimulating as our daughter grew. She has now started school as a confident, well prepared happy child and the team at Busy Bees definitely contributed. Thank you!
Our daughter has enjoyed learning and playing in a safe and engaging environment with kind in a safe and engaging environment with kind and professional staff. She always comes home with a big smile on her face. We love seeing photos of her day and feel confident that Busy Bees is giving a high standard of care.
We have been a part of this nursery for 5 years. The staff have been amazing at enforcing COVID rules but keep children and parents at ease. As parents, we have always felt our son has received fantastic care. He is a confident and intelligent young boy and I give the credit to the practitioners who care and nurture him. I am a local clinician and regularly recommend this nursery to new parents. Great job guys.
Love... - My son's key worker, strict, kind and has respect. - The variety of theme weeks - play and learning. - The garden. - Since change in manager, much happier team. - The variety of food. - The flexibility of working and booking extra days Things to work on... - Opens doors on time. - Increase outdoor time. - Behaviour changes when smaller kids join class - Expensive.
The management and staff at the nursery have done an excellent job of looking after the children during the pandemic. My son is in Buzz and loves going to nursery. He has some great friends and loves the Nursery Practitioners. Our older son also attended the nursery and enjoyed it too. Our son talks about 'pre-school' all the time when he comes home and at the weekend. He very rarely says he doesn't want to go.
Our daughter has always been a confident and happy little girl and the nursery has played an important role in her development and well-being. The staff are friendly, enthusiastic, creative and full of ideas to keep the children engaged. In recent months there has been a themed week every week covering topics like gardening, safety, transport, sport and music. Our daughter's social development has been impressive and we think she really benefits from the group activities and playing with her peers. She has developed most of the skills she will need for school and her enjoyment of phonics, drawing and writing will be useful for the future.
The staff at Major Minors are all very caring and really take the time to know and understand my daughter. They seek feedback on her progress and things she has been doing at home. My daughter is very happy at nursery and is gaining many new experiences and friends.
My daughter is in the baby room and it has been a wonderful experience. She has settled well and the team are both efficient and caring with the babies. My daughter loves the big garden and all the interesting toys and activities. My son was at the nursery too and I have had a similarly positive experience with both children at the nursery.
Both of our children have been to Major Minors over the last 7 years. They have both had a great time and enjoyed all the different activities that they do with their friends and staff. The quality of the care is high and it is really reassuring knowing that my child is in safe hands.
Our experience with Major Minors for the past 9 months has been a good one. The staff are attentive, the facilities clean, lots of activities for our daughter, etc. The main selling point to us was the large outside space, and now we are in the summer months, it's great to see our daughter getting lots of fresh air. It is evident that the nursery is currently going through a number of managerial/structural/staff changes which haven't been communicated to the parent very well. This would be my only piece of constructive feedback. Thanks.
I have 2 children in the nursery aged 2 and 4. Both have attended regularly since they were 10 months old. They are both so happy and settled there. They love the staff and have built lovely relationships and bonds with them. As a parent, I am always very satisfied in the breadth of activities and learning that happens. The equipment is great.
Major Minors in Dorking is a fantastic nursery. They have fantastic indoor facilities and the garden is unrivalled. My children (4 and 1) love it and thrive there. Great care is taken with the children's development and wellbeing, I would highly recommend.
Our second child is now at Major Minors after we were so happy with how they looked after our eldest child. Cannot recommend the nursery highly enough, with their high level of commitment to care and development to all children there.
We recently transferred my daughter from another nursery and couldn't be happier with how well she is doing. The garden here is amazing with so much to do, it always looks very busy and exciting. The staff are always friendly and let me know all about her day. I have recommended this nursery to a friend already and will continue to do so as it is fantastic.
