View Full Details of Small Wonders Day Care NurseryAbsolutely brilliant, my daughter loves it, she has been here since 18 months and now 3 and staying here till full time school. Staff are very friendly, always there to talk to you about anything, like a home from home.
My daughter settled at Small Wonders really quickly and has always had a good relationship with the staff. The management and the chef have gone above and beyond to ensure they keep up to date with her food allergies. They provide like for like alternatives, so she is never excluded. She has really come on since being in the toddler room and is forever singing songs she learns in her room. Her confidence is lovely to see and part of this is because she feels so safe and at home with the staff.
I have two children who attend the Nursery, both of who love being there and have shown lots of progress since starting. The staff and management are always friendly, knowledgeable and caring. They enjoy a wide variety of snacks and meals and we are given a daily sheet which provides a summary of their time there.
Our son has been here for over a year, his confidence and interaction with other children has leaped and it is such a wonderful thing to see. He is learning above more than I expected and I love that the team they have at Small Wonders in Haydock keep us informed and up to date so that we are able to help and understand when he comes home too. The team there are very friendly, easy to approach and keep us informed about his day and what they are currently teaching. If we have any questions or queries they are always happy to help, I couldn't ask for a better and safer place for our son to be so I am able to go to work without panic.
Lovely staff!! My son transferred from another Small Wonders due to my work commitments, and the transfer was simple and straightforward. My son settled in straight away and this is due to the fantastic staff. He always has a smile on his face when I pick him up and has come on leaps and bounds.
Lovely nursery that has helped my child in so many ways and my child has settled in well, made lots of friends and gets along with the staff. My child enjoys going to nursery and is also moving up to the pre-school department and has had visits to help with the transition. My child is very happy and looks forward to going.
Excellent service from all the staff at small wonders in Haydock, my daughter has been attending for over 2 years and enjoys it here very much and loves all the staff. The nursery is even nicer now since having new reception and new secure doors. I would highly recommend this nursery to both friends and family.
Small Wonders is a great nursery and my son loves it, the ladies that work there are lovely and friendly, my son began at the nursery and, as he hasn't been away from family before, he was very shy and nervous but the ladies made both him and I feel welcome by giving him extra time and care when needed. I would recommend this nursery to anyone as the surroundings & facilities are excellent along with the staff. Being at Small Wonders has done my son the world of good and they are so flexible which is great when you need it. They are very welcoming and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for your child.
My son has been attending the nursery since the begging of the year and he settled in very quickly and I am seeing him develop a lot more there. I would definitely recommend this nursery to others. He really enjoys playing outside there and in the water too.
My daughter is in the baby room at the Haydock site and we find the staff to be very approachable. They really can't do enough for us and makes our daughter feel very safe and secure. Before our daughter started she was very wary of people but once she started at Small Wonders she became a very confident and outgoing little girl. We can't thank them enough.
My daughter attends twice a week and I can't thank the girls enough. She's 15 months and teething so her attitude fluctuates. As soon as she walks in her face lights up. There's always a member of staff to welcome her. I was a bit wary of sending her to (any) nursery but the staff at Small Wonders made me realise I made the right choice.
Small Wonders Haydock is an awesome nursery! Both of my daughter's have attended Small Wonders Haydock since being really little, and they loved every minute of it. They left in July 2015 to go to "big school". I found all the staff lovely, friendly and always happy to help, in every one of the rooms, and friendly managers greeting you and always happy to help. This topped off with safe surrounding, both inside and out, and a brilliant outdoor play area for them to play happily and safely. I cannot thank the Small Wonders staff at Haydock enough for everything they have done for my daughters. They have certainly put both my girls on those first important steps of their learning ladder, and we will always very grateful for that. We will continue to visit and keep in touch with the girls from Small Wonders, and will recommend them to everyone. Well done Small Wonders Haydock staff, keep up the good work. You all do such a wonderful job with our precious little ones. THANK YOU xxx
My Granddaughter has been in the care of this nursery since she was only 9 months old , I must admit I found it very hard to drive past the nursery nearly every day as I wanted to go in and bring her home as she was so little and was there all day 5 days a week due to her mothers work. I eventually came to terms with this after around six months as I watched her enjoy and grow into a very contented little girl who loved going to the nursery to see her friends. My Granddaughter is due to go to school in September 2015 and due to the excellent care , love and dedication of the staff and the facilities during her time there is more than prepared to enter the next chapter in her life . I have gone from a concerned over protective Grandfather to someone who has nothing but admiration and respect for the people who have played such a pivotal part in her life these people have encouraged , and helped her achieve so much in our case the early leaning goals have not only been reached but well exceeded, this will be of a great advantage as she enters her School life, so I say to you all a very big THANK YOU. Finally watching her and her fellow class mates on the Graduation Day ( Very American ) but very enjoyable I especially liked the leaving file showing work they had done and the pictures from when they arrived to when they are leaving and yes like a big softie I did shed a tear as I saw her wearing a cap and gown so grown up. I have no concerns in recommending this Nursery to everyone.
I was very nervous about placing my little boy in nursery as I have worked in nursery settings a long time. I was quite picky when I chose one because I wanted him to be happy. I am glad I chose small wonders as he loves going to nursery and he is there full time as we work full time. I struggled at first leaving him but was reassured by staff and encouraged to phone and check he was ok. I think this is a lovely setting and the staff are very caring and professional too.
My son has been attending Small Wonders since 2012 and he loves it. He has made a group of best friends, he adores the girls who look after him. He learns something new each day and I love hearing his stories of his day. All the team are great I would 100% recommend small wonders to others.
My little boy loves coming to nursery and always has done. The staff have been fantastic and I would highly recommend. He started when he was just four months old and now he is three. I can't wait to see him in his Small Wonders uniform in September.
My little girl has improved in so many aspects since starting at Small Wonders. She learns letters and sounds, shapes and numbers and always has a tale to tell when she comes home. She enjoys all the different activities as well as playing outside. She loves going to this nursery and I would recommend it to anyone.
