View Full Details of Puddle-Ducks NurseryI can't say enough good things about Puddle Ducks Nursery! My two children have been attending for about 2 years, and in that time, whenever I had any queries they were dealt with very quickly. The facilities are top-notch, and the beautiful garden and playground are such magical spaces for the children to explore. The best one I've seen yet and the food is healthy. The manager is so supportive, and attentive and is always about creating a passionate nurturing environment for the children. My kids have thrived here, and it's heart-breaking that we had to leave to go abroad, if I weren't I'd stay here without a doubt! Puddle Ducks has been an amazing experience for my family, and I'll miss it dearly!
Puddle Ducks has been the absolute perfect environment for both of my sons, I cannot rate them highly enough. My youngest started at Puddle Ducks when he was a few months old, and my oldest was 2. We were there for about a year and a half, only leaving because we moved away. My previously shy oldest came into his own within a few weeks of starting at Puddle Ducks, and my youngest thrived developmentally. They were both excited to go in the mornings and always happy at the end of the day. We were very sad to leave!
My son has attended Puddle-Ducks from 9 months to 3 years and 4 months. I have complete confidence in the care he has received and he has absolutely flourished at the nursery. The staff are very caring and attentive. He is a really outdoorsy boy and gorgeous and the large garden and playground was a no-brainer for us. It is the best nursery garden in Putney (I have checked them all out). He has loved pre-school and his little class of close friends where he has learned numbers and letters and taken part in a number of educational opportunities. We are really grateful to the whole team at Puddle-Ducks who have been wonderful. We are very sad to leave.
Our daughter has had the most wonderful experience at Puddle-Ducks Nursery. From starting in the baby room to now being in the toddler room, she has absolutely thrived with the fantastic care and support from the staff here. This nursery has provided nothing but love for our daughter, which was one of the most important things to us. It is well-run, organised and the most welcoming place for little people to be cared for and to start the foundation of their education. Thank you Puddle-Ducks for such a wonderful experience!
We really like Puddle-Ducks as our eldest girl had a great and fun time there and so now does our youngest. The staff are very caring and the time spent there is diverse. There was not a day when we picked up the girls that they weren't happy, with lots of stories to share with us. The food is healthy and diverse. Their new playground is amazing. There is always lots of outdoor space for the Little Owls to have a good run around. I would always choose it again.
My daughter was at Puddle-Ducks Nursery from 2019-2022. She enjoyed every moment. The team work hard to ensure there is a strong family feel as well as appropriate learning right across all years. By the time she left my daughter knew the names of all children and staff. Now she is in reception at school and it is clear she had a good educational basis and has settled quickly. I had no hesitation to send my son to Puddle-Ducks from 11 months and I was lucky enough to tour the refreshed facilities. It's impressive how they have reconfigured the space and encouraging to see some familiar and friendly faces, whose positivity and energy was clear to see. I trust the Team and value their feedback and guidance. Thanks Team!
I’ve had both my children at Puddle Ducks Nursery, one is now at school. Both children have always been very happy at Puddle Ducks, the staff are caring and there is a family feel, all the staff and children know each other. The children settled in well, to the point they rush in each morning without looking back! The new facilities after the refurbishment are brilliant, the space has been so well utilised. The large garden is great with lots of space for playing and running around. It’s great in Summer to see them having fun outside at pick up. The environment is caring and my children have therefore developed this skill themselves early. Both children have developed confidence at nursery and my oldest transitioned into school easily from Puddle Ducks.
Gorgeous freshened-up space that is so practical for the kids and staff. The garden and outdoor life is a real asset to them compared to other nurseries, also the commitment and consistent staff. My kids love it. Monday is their favourite day with football and gardening and I love the exposure they get to every food to reduce the pressure on my cooking.
My child was supported very well at Puddle-Ducks, the manager and the team have given my son a great start to his educational life, he was happy to go in every day and I am sure he misses the great routine that they offered him.
My little boy has been attending Puddle-Ducks since he was 12 months old and started during Covid restrictions, which was nerve-wracking for us as first-time parents. However, the staff have been great from the start and he really settled in well within a short period of time. He has developed relationships with all the staff and friendships with other children which is lovely to see. He particularly loves playing in the huge garden and bringing home any treats they have baked during the day to share with us. As he was a lockdown baby, I had worried that his development may have been impacted by lack of contact with other children and playgroups, but since starting at Puddle-Ducks he has developed into a confident little boy, who has a big hug for whoever greets him in the morning. Seeing that relationship and knowing that my little boy is well cared for has been the most important aspect for me in his nursery setting.
As a first-time mum, you have to put your faith into the nursery you choose - that they will be great for your child. Hands down delighted we went for Puddle-Ducks Nursery, they have been great since we joined and have navigated the changing landscape of Covid extremely well. We would highly recommend others to this nursery as the caring and dedicated staff are second to none!
We’re extremely happy with Puddleducks nursery, our eldest has been there for almost a year and a half, and our younger one has just started. The staff who work there are really lovely - genuinely know and care for the kids and are approachable and accessible for the parents. Activities are interesting, varied and age appropriate, with plenty of opportunity for downtime and free play. The facilities are also fantastic, with a huge garden at the back as well as a large covered outdoor area for the babies. But most importantly our son loves it and asks every morning if it’s a nursery day!
My child has been attending Puddle-Ducks Nursery since the age of one. What I can notice first-hand is that he is always eager to go to nursery and has a big smile at pick-up time. He is learning lots of songs and loves Thursdays the most, as that is the day in which a specialist Spanish teacher comes to the nursery and introduces the children to the language. From my personal experience, the staff is very caring and friendly, very attentive to children's needs and supportive with parents. The outdoor space is great and the staff never misses an occasion to let the children play outside - be it with toy cars, balls, making music or simply singing along. Children are also encouraged to do hands-on activities, such as baking - and I must say the results are delicious!
Our little boy has been attending Puddle-Ducks now for almost two months. We chose the nursery because we had heard so many positive things about it from our friends who also send their children there. We’ve only ever felt delighted that we also chose such a lovely nursery. The staff are all extremely kind and caring and they clearly love the children they work with very much. We get regular updates and photographs of our little boy taking part in exciting and engaging activities. Within the short time he has been attending the nursery we have noticed that he’s made so much progress in all areas of his development. We would certainly recommend the nursery!
I have just recently had a viewing at Puddle-Ducks Nursery and it is a very calm environment for the children and I can see new resources within the rooms. I have now signed my daughter up for 2022 and they are having the garden redone, the plans look amazing!
Two of my children have attended the nursery over the last two years and we have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with all staff there. Both of my children have been very happy there and we are sad to have left. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Our child has attended this nursery for two years and is now leaving to go to primary school. Puddle Ducks is with no doubt ‘home away from home’ for children, it is run with a very authentic family feeling combined with high professionalism. This business is largely about selecting and managing the best people to look after our children and the management is very good at it. The staff did a great job with us supporting both our child and us parents in all phases from start to transition from room to room, understanding how critical certain phases are for a family and encouraging progress in a very safe environment. Early Years curriculum is explained to families and is delivered consistently with visible progress in children who are encouraged to learn in a disciplined but fun way; family events (summer and Xmas parties) are occasions of engagement – and fond memories! - for children and parents. Also, communication with families in formal/informal occasions is precise and detailed.
We cannot even begin to say how much we appreciate Puddle Ducks. Our daughter always has a wonderful time there and has learnt so much since being there the last year. I also cannot speak highly enough of the truly lovely staff who make us and our daughter feel so comfortable. The nursery has such a warm and friendly feeling with clear focus given to the children's creativity and enjoyment while still encouraging learning.
Our son started at Puddle Ducks in 2016 aged 11 months and had a tough time settling in but staff were so patient and bent over backwards to help him and us. He has thrived ever since and adores his days there. Beautiful big garden, friends, varied activities. Turnover of staff has been low for some time so there is consistency for the children and staff are always friendly and helpful. He has really grown and developed and they have been a huge part of this with helping to set boundaries, encouraging good manners and supporting with potty training. Love this place!
Our two daughters currently attend the nursery, which we are very happy with. The nursery is located in a quiet part of Putney, away from main roads, and has good security. It also has a large garden in which the children can play. Food is cooked on site, and the nursery can provide breakfast if an early drop off is required. There are a number of trips/visits each term to enable the children to learn about things such as the local library, the fire brigade, etc. And there is also a Christmas play, a summer fair, and regular parents feedback days. At pick up time, the staff give feedback on what activities the children have conducted during the day, what they have eaten, how they have performed, etc. Overall we are very happy with the nursery and would recommend it to any other parents in the area.
