View Full Details of Dee's Day Nursery (Wimbledon) LtdOur child attends Dees Day Nursery and it has been a wonderful and a very nurturing environment where they are thriving! Comes home every day having learned a new skill, which we love to see - really progressing at such speed since starting at Dees. I cannot rave about it enough, and the staff! They made settling into the nursery a breeze and are incredible with the children. They really listen to any needs of the child and parents! The app updates are great, and we get very detailed updates on what the children have been up to. Love the variety of activities they are offered, always with a considered and clear view on how it ties back to key developmental areas - they are fun but very rooted in development! Special thanks to the Nursery Manager who goes above and beyond to make sure that it's not just a nursery, but a supportive community parents have to lean on!
I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful care my baby boy has received at Dee's Day Nursery since joining in November, aged 12 months. From the moment we walked through Dee's doors, we knew we had made the right choice. The family feel of the nursery was so welcoming and the children seemed happier and more engaged than other, bigger nurseries in the area we visited. The range of activities Dee's offer is fantastic, and my baby absolutely loves attending. It is clear that the staff are passionate about their roles and genuinely care for the children they look after. The low staff turnover speaks volumes about the positive working environment and the commitment of the team. As my son is a full time attendee it was very important to me that he would see the same team members so he felt safe and happy. Thank you for providing such a nurturing environment for my son. We are so grateful to have found Dee's.
I last wrote a review for Dees when my daughter was in the baby room. She is now about to start preschool and I wanted to provide an update given how positive an experience we've had. We originally chose this nursery because of its small family feel. It doesn't matter who opens the door, our daughter knows them and vice versa, which makes morning drop-off a breeze. Our daughter loves going to nursery, and comes home with stories of all the activities she has done that day. She has lovely friendships with the other children and it's clear they are all in a really nurturing environment. On the rare day when we have had a teary start to the morning, staff are always quick to respond to my emails checking if she has perked up. Management are quick to respond to feedback, and we get great updates throughout the week on the app. I don't feel we could have chosen a better Nursery.
Our daughter started nursery when she was 6 months old in January 2024. Although the nursery was the furthest way from our home (25 minute walk vs 5 to 8 min for others), we chose Dee's Day Nursery Wimbledon because of the positive feeling we had after speaking with the staff during the visit. We felt they will provide good care and attention to our daughter. Our daughter settled well and she has been enjoying nursery ever since. We are very pleased with Dee's care to her, all the activities they do to stimulate, entertain and encourage her development, the daily updates, events organised etc. Seeing our daughter happy to go to the nursery and always smiling at the staff say it all. It is such an amazing & friendly team that truly cares about all the children. I highly recommend Dee's Day Nursery Wimbledon!
Our son started at Dee's in May this year and absolutely loves it! We picked Dee's over other nurseries, as we loved the intimate feel of the space and the care given by each staff member. The staff are all very friendly, caring, attentive and professional. We know our son is always safe and is having a great time, whilst learning lots too. The communication is fantastic, with daily updates via the app. We love reading and seeing pictures of his development.
Our son has been at the nursery for over 3 years and leaving for school this summer. He has had a lovely time there and staff are like extended family. He is always excited to go to nursery. He started there during Covid and has progressed through all the rooms.
My son joined Dee’s Day Nursery in April of this year as his other setting was closing its doors. I only wish I had found Dee’s in 2023 as he is thriving here. My little one loves going to his setting each morning and has made great bonds with the other children and all of the staff. I’m kept up to date with their app each day and there are lots of photos added too. I attended the parents stay and play morning and it was great to see all of the activities that are offered every day. My son is a very happy boy here so I am a very happy mum!
I was recommended Dee's by a friend and after viewing several nurseries in the area, Dee's was by far the best for me in terms of a homely feel. Once I had registered, I was invited to their annual summer social, 6 months in advance of my daughter starting at the nursery. I met all the staff and other parents, which made me feel really comfortable. All the staff are incredibly welcoming and very caring, and did a lot to put my mind at ease when settling in my little one and I have every confidence that she enjoys her time at Dee's. She also eats better than we do at home! I'm always jealous of the menu on display outside the main door when I collect her.
We have been very happy with Dees Day since our (then) 2.5-year-old son joined a couple of months ago. We were new to the area and he moved from another nursery setting, but he settled in very easily. The staff is very caring and nurturing. He loves doing the different activities and enjoys all the facilities Dees Day has to offer. Their outdoor space is lovely and their flexibility around half/full-day sessions has been very convenient for us. We had heard great things before we joined, and have had no reason to question any of it since we joined.
I think this is one of the best nurseries in Merton. My 2-year-old is so happy when it’s a nursery day. The staff are caring and attentive. I have been particularly impressed with how they have dealt with his severe allergies and I have already booked a place for my baby for next year.
We love Dee's Day and are very satisfied with the service provided. The staff is great and friendly. They know what is going on in the nursery, caring and professional. My daughter loves the freshly cooked, nutritious food. Daily regular updates regarding nappy, food is great. We also look forward to her observations and her week at nursery which comes with photos and feedback. That is really helpful. I would highly recommend Dee's Day to any parent in the area!
My son joined Dee's Day Nursery (Wimbledon) more than a year ago. He very soon settled in so well that he started looking forward to go in every day. I have seen him learn so many new skills at the nursery that he loves to repeat at home. He is really attached to all the caretakers at the nursery and I can see the bond he shares with his key workers. Bringing my son to Dee's was one of the best decisions we made.
We are very happy with Dee's Day Nursery for both of our children. The staff are very caring and it is a very warm and friendly environment where all the practitioners know the children so well and vice versa. They provide lots of fun and educational activities for the children including trips outside of the nursery, which the children love. We would definitley recommend this nursery.
The team is wonderful! Our son has loved every single days at Dee's Day. He has made wonderful progress thanks to the team patience and kindness. Special thank you to 3 members of staff who have been such wonderful people to us. We are going to miss the team very much.
The nursery has been a lovely place for my son. He has been nurtured and cared for so well. They tend to the child's needs rather than following a rigid timetable. My son and daughter always come home happy and excited to go in the next day. The activities they do are compliant with early years foundation and both my children were well prepared for school. We will miss the nursery and the teachers and the exciting days trips they went on.
My son really loved the nursery. Sometimes he wouldn't want to leave at the end of the day. The teachers are all very friendly and caring. The whole environment is safe and has a home-feel. My son didn't speak any English when he first joined the nursery. I am so grateful for all the effort the team has made to accommodate him. His language skill has significantly improved after a few months. He has become more confident and a strong little 'gentlemen'. Thanks to Dee's Day Nursery.
The nursery is a lovely nursery with a family vibe. My child is very happy and enjoys his time there so much. The staff are friendly and good with the children. The only improvement I can suggest is the app usage and providing updates throughout the day.
Dee's Day Nursery is a very special place, their attention to the children is second to none, they truly take care of all the kids equally. They are fast to update on any changes or issues that may arise while looking after the children. I give them a 10/10. Well done to them.
Both my daughters went to Dee's Day Nursery and moved from baby room to toddler room to preschool and then to the big step - reception. The staff here are very caring and this is a cosy and homelike setting with focus on learning and emotional development. Girls loved going to the nursery every day and came back home happy. Thank you for taking such good care of my children. Best wishes.
Care and loving staff, just what we want for our twins. The nursery has a very positive environment, always doing activities and fun stuff to do. Our twins started when they were 16 months, they were so little and struggled to settle but the carers didn’t give up and were so lovely and patent with them, a few weeks after they were obsessed with nursery and having so much fun! Comparing to our oldest child, who went to 4 (very good) nurseries, the twins are learning so much at only 2 years old! We’re so happy about their education and positive stimulation. We can say this has been the best nursery.
