View Full Details of Busy Bees ChingfordI am very pleased with the progress my son has made at Busy Bees Chingford. He is thoroughly enjoying his time there and developing well. He often asks to go to the nursery on the days he is not booked in to go and often mentions the key workers by name. He is happy on the day. The girls are all so lovely and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. I love seeing pictures of him on the app as it always looks like he's having a lovely time.
The staff are always supportive with the children and show enthusiasm. Have seen a massive difference and improvement from the day my child attended and now. My child is constantly asking about his teachers at home which shows the passion he has and the care he receives from his teachers.
My daughter went to Busy Bee Chingford. She loved it there and soon settled in. She looked forward to nursery every day. The lead for the preschool room was excellent. She eased my daughter into settling in and has admirable skills in understanding children. I think she should be nominated for the staff award. I would want to nominate her for Best Staff Award as a parent. The manager provided me with encouragement during the settling-in period and was welcoming throughout. They are very flexible and accommodating which was exactly what we needed for my daughter and us. You have daily feedback and they work with you to accommodate your views and expectations. All staff are hardworking and have the children’s best interests at heart. I wish them all the very best. God Bless them to continue the good work and the manager to continue with her leadership.
Can't fault this nursery. The staff are so caring for my little boy and amazing at communicating with me throughout the day using the app. Highly recommend if you're looking for amazing childcare. The staff also helped me calm my nerves when settling him as I was super nervous. Thank you Busy Bees, Chingford.
Both our children have attended busy bees, my daughter before and after COVID and have now transitioned really well to primary school, and my son from age one after COVID. The staff are very caring and have supported what has been a difficult post-lockdown transition. All the staff across the different rooms know all the children at the nursery by name and the children's key workers have been very invested in the children's comfort, development and individual needs. The purpose build centre provides an exceptional space for both indoor and outdoor play and learning.
Overall, happy with the nursery, my son has been with Busy Bees since October 2020 and started as a baby. He will soon join the preschool room. They have a large garden area and the food options are great.
My son left Busy Bees at Chingford in August 2020 to start reception after several happy years. The staff there were kind, patient and helped us in several areas, namely potty training and bottle weaning. The staff are great and the facilities are excellent. I'm now seeking a place for another child so that really is the highest recommendation I can give.
Our daughter joined Busy Bees Chingford just before she turned 1 and she is now 2 and a half. The staff were fantastic at supporting her transition when she first started and again when she returned after being off during the lockdown. The staff are incredibly friendly and I know that our daughter has a great time from the way she runs in every morning without a backward glance. The purpose-built indoor and outdoor areas are spacious and well resourced and the weekly newsletter gives a great insight into what they've been getting up to and which is clearly all driven by 'Development Matters' in the EYFS. Health and Safety is clearly paramount, through the way they have dealt with her egg allergy and the occasional bump. It is clear from the way the staff talk about our daughter that they know her really well and really care for her.
Our son started at Busy Bee Chingord when he was 13-months-old, and even though the transition into nursery life was extremely unsettling (for both of us!), the staff facilitated the change in the most supportive, caring and gentle way, and we haven't looked back since! He spends 5-days a week at nursery and to see how happy he is at the end of each day - makes it all worthwhile. We know that whilst at Busy Bee he is developing life skills in a safe, fun and loving environment. Thank you to all of his key workers, the nursery workers who fill in on the days that are needed. The manager and her team - you make the nursery what it is - wonderful!
As a working parent, my child spends full 4-days in nursery, so it is critical that you choose the best. I think Busy Bee nurseries at Chingford is the best. I am really pleased with the care they provide on personal and professional level. Its like a second home to my child. The staff is always welcoming, interested and always listen. Thank you!
We have had one or both of our children at the nursery for the past 5 years and both children have been happy and progressed well. The staff are caring, personable and take the time to ensure we and our current child attending feel comfortable with the nursery environment. Both children experimented with food more at nursery than at home! Both the office and room staff have been flexible with our requirements and have supported our children through various ‘phases’ and quirks as they have developed into their own little personalities, often going over and above to do so. Supporting us as parents as well as our children. I would also say that the nursery has had even more of a step up with a recently appointed manager who is very positive and professional. A great appointment to the team. We couldn’t be happier and look forward to our child enjoying the rest of their nursery experience at Busy Bees Chingford!
My son started at Busy Bees in July 2020 and has loved it. He has progressed so much during his time there, colours and shapes and lots of different words. All the girls who work there are friendly and helpful and always make you feel welcome.
My son has been at Busy Bees at Chingford for about 4 months now and absolutely loves it. The staff are very friendly and he gets so excited when we pull up in the mornings. A true indication of the care and attention he must receive. They've also been really accommodating to extra ad-hoc days too, helpful in these uncertain times as my partner and I navigate work. A really wonderful nursery. We couldn't have asked for more.
My son absolutely loved this nursery. He received excellent care, and we were always accommodated when we asked to change his days last minute. His keyworkers are very professional and caring. Thank you for your kindness. We will miss you.
August was the last month two of my boys attended Busy Bees before school and I have to say Busy Bees Chingford handled the return to nursery after lockdown so well and so professionally. The transition back to nursery was seamless and the boys were so happy to be back with familiar faces. We are about to send our 3rd son here too. Busy Bees are part of our family.
My child loves attending his nursery. All the staff are friendly, professional and approachable. We originally tried a childminder but our son wasn’t happy. Within a week of starting there, he settled right in. The children do a wide range of activities throughout the day. I love the Busy Bees parent app with ideas and activities to do with the children at home. I also enjoy seeing pictures of what my child has been up to at nursery and a regular update on his progress through the app. Would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.
All of the staff here are so friendly and helpful, and truly have the children's best interest in their hearts. I felt that my son needed more settle visits before starting, which staff supported happily. The care my child receives seems really good, and everyone treats him as an individual. Staff are also very supportive of me and my concerns and are always happy to have a chat.
I would highly recommend Busy Bees, my children have been going there for nearly two years. The staff are understanding, friendly and caring and the children really enjoy being there. The staff keep you well informed about your child’s progress.
I have enrolled my son when he was 1 and 1/2. Since the beginning, he seemed to enjoy the place and we noticed a big improvement in his development. He recently had his second-year review with the health visitor and apart from his speech everything else was as it should be at this stage, I believe sending him there definitely helped. In terms of suggestions, I would like to get more feedback on his activities during the day and his progress and the kind of activities they are focusing on to help him with his development. Also at 1.00pm, there's normally one or two members of staff in the class, the majority of kids are asleep and I have the impression the ones that are not sleeping (like my son) are left wandering without anyone actually spending time with them. I would like this aspect to be addressed, please. Last suggestion is for Busy Bees to be more flexible in terms of recuperating some of the missed sessions, instead of just being told it's not possible.
Lovely nursery with warm approachable staff. A home from home for my Daughter. My Daughter will be sad to leave when she starts school.
