View Full Details of Lemon Tree Montessori SchoolOur daughter went to Lemon Tree full time since the age of 2 and loved every second. She had a really good rapport with her key workers and was very fond of one member of staff in particular. She developed all-round skills (phonics, maths etc) and enjoyed her French lessons, football and tennis sessions at the nursery. We were all sad when she left to go to reception.
Lemon Tree is a great learning environment with lots of activities and Montessori specific teaching. They also offer extra classes which can be arranged for French, Spanish, playball etc. The teachers are all of a high standard. They take care to teach the children important things they are interested in and overall are very caring and made the connection with my child. The location of the nursery is great with a lovely garden where the children can plan in all weather. It's also quite easy for parking for pick up and drop off. My daughter attended full time for over 2 years and was sad to leave the teachers and all the friends she made.
Our son really blossomed at Lemon Tree. The staff are knowledgeable, mature, and give personalised attention. They are people who truly feel called to early years education and you can see that in all that they do. We have found that at other nurseries staff look "dead-eyed" or uninterested in actually interacting with the children. This is certainly not the case at Lemon Tree. Every one of the teachers got to know our son well and helped him settle every day, achieve more in his learning, and generally have fun! The outdoor space is also spectacular and the Montessori focus is hugely beneficial in expanding our son's knowledge in what really interests him (for example, he is really interested in numbers so his key worker helped him understand large numbers like 100 and 1000 by building with bead blocks). I have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to other parents!
