View Full Details of Crystal Palace Day NurseryEver since our child joined the nursery they have gone from strength to strength in their social well-being, cognitive development and communication. The staff are really caring and knows all the names and needs of the children that attend. They regularly hold events that allow the children to showcase their work such as painting etc. Management respond quickly to any questions you may have and are always checking in on how we as parents are doing as well which is a nice touch! Our child is really happy at the nursery and really grateful for everyone being involved and hands on in these formative years of development. The staff are experienced, well trained and have their qualifications and details displayed on the wall. Each child is provided with a key worker who works closely with the child and will regularly provide updates on the app on their progress. Children have lots of opportunities to play and explore which is crucial for development at this stage.
This is a lovely nursery with warm, caring staff who know my child well and make sure she is well taken care of. The nursery feels like a family and my child has settled in here so well. I would absolutely recommend this nursery.
My daughter started at Crystal Palace Day Nursery at approximately 10 months old, settled in quickly, and continues to absolutely love it. The staff are genuinely so caring and loving towards the babies, and they offer a wonderful range of activities including lots of time in the garden when the weather allows. It feels like a home from home, and no matter who I speak to at pick up, all members of staff have an anecdote for us on what our daughter got up to that day. The photos and app updates are also wonderful to give us a glimpse into nursery life. Our child is excited to arrive in the mornings, and we feel very happy leaving her there.
Overall my daughter has settled in very well! She now recognises the staff and looks forward to her time there. Personally, I find the staff very helpful, friendly, and accommodating, and feel like they have my daughter's interests, safety, and well-being at the top of their minds. The food is always great lots of choice and nutritious! My only bit of feedback would be a few occasions the app wasn't updated but this seems to have been sorted now.
Lovely nursery and my child really enjoys attending - very nice staff and they seem to do lots of fun activities. I feel very happy dropping her off in the morning as I know she'll have a good day. Her skills and language also seem to be improving quickly.
The staff are lovely and really helped us and our child settle into nursery life. Our child is very happy to be there, with smiles every morning at drop-off and we feel happy leaving him there as we know they look after him well. He loves the different activities, the staff, the other children and eats and sleeps well. We love that he can spend time in the garden too. Would highly recommend this nursery, we’ll be sad when he has to leave!
Crystal Palace has been a wonderful experience for my daughter, she’s grown up and learnt so much in her own time. The staff are amazing, kind, nurturing and have great understanding for families and children’s learning and development. The management team are supportive, friendly and all the team are extremely hardworking. I will miss them all dearly!
Great experience. Great, fun activities for the babies. Excellent, diverse and healthy food options for the children.
Our daughter loves it here. A home from home, I love how small and homely it feels. The staff are very accommodating and friendly and the food looks great too! I like how the garden is at the back of the property too and not on a main road.
My toddler has been going here since he was 12 months old and he loves it. He's always having fun when we pick him up, which is lovely to see. He's learnt so much since starting at the nursery and the updates the nursery provides to us are great for understanding what he's been doing and learning there. The staff are lovely and so attentive to the children and are always happy to talk to us about our child's development and interests. They've given us some great suggestions for home too to support our child's learning.
Our little one loves going to Crystal Palace Day Nursery. He started there when he was around 11 months old and settled almost immediately. I hadn’t left him with anyone before this, and I was very anxious. One of the managers was so kind, supportive and understanding - he really put me at ease. I love picking our little one up from nursery, seeing how much fun he’s having and hearing all about his day (he loves playing in their play kitchen!). All of the staff are wonderful, and they really care. I know that he’s in safe hands there.
We love all the staff. They have made us all feel welcome and look forward to chats on drop off and pick up. My son has been attending since January and settled in very quickly. I feel like he is in really good hands and don’t worry about him at all. Thank you to all the staff.
Having older children we know what works and what doesn't, elsewhere. Why we love Crystal Palace Day Nursery (Maberley Road), is they know the children. I don't get bland answers to what he did or ate. They know my son's development rate, they know when he is off-colour or just chilling out. We don't get unnecessary messages to keep them home or 'that's our policy' responses. Our son loves the staff, they give cuddles and they make him feel safe and happy, plus so many fun activities. He has a food allergy, which they take seriously and include him in meal times as normal and we haven't had an incident. The manager is lovely and he had big boots to fill, the kids all love him and flock to him. As parents we feel good too, in other places I have felt dismissed and not listened to. Here it is a partnership, for example moving from 2 naps to 1. We agreed on a plan that would work at home too. Really rate this place. Thank you to the team.
Our son loves attending Crystal Palace Day Nursery. He started full-time at 12 months old, and the nursery offered lots of settling-in sessions which really helped the transition. The staff are friendly and caring and always provide a warm welcome when we drop him off. We also value the wide variety of activities and food that the nursery provides - it means our son is getting to learn and experience new things all the time.
We love the team! Our little one started at the nursery at 9 months old and they have been wonderful to him and us. Being a small size, the nursery has a very family-style feeling and is always cosy and buzzing with activities. It is a great feeling dropping him off knowing he will have a good day and be in safe hands. Throughout every interaction, the team always show the genuine care they have for each child. Thank you everyone for being absolute stars.
Our son joined the nursery when he was 9 months old. We always knew that he was being looked after, and most importantly, cuddled and loved by the delightful team. Our little boy unfortunately has food allergies and we felt assured that the team were trained and had the knowledge to deal with that. From a developmental point of view, I must admit that he has learnt most of his words and skills at the nursery as opposed to at home. The team's pastoral care is wonderful. One drawback would be that when he hit around 18 months I felt like he had grown out of the environment, being surrounded by so many babies meant he had to be careful when running around and I think he needed more. The move to another nursery came just at the right time, perhaps a few months late.
It is such a relief to have found this gem of a nursery for my child; she loves going there, and I love leaving her in the care every day. The warm and caring nature of all the staff is second to none. I can see her developing every day from her experiences and personalised care. I can't fault the staff and management; they do everything possible to make it a positive experience for both children and parents!
My oldest child came to this nursery before he moved onto school and he absolutely loved it from age thirteen months. Now I’m settling in my baby at age nine months and the staff are fantastic! So loving and supportive.
My son attends the nursery and has been there since he was 10 months old. The staff are truly amazing, they have been so good throughout the Covid situation with my child being unsettled when he returned. The manager is so good and runs a nice smooth and happy nursery. Highly recommended nursery and will be sad to say goodbye when he goes to school.
Little Crystals is an amazing nursery. My niece enjoys going to nursery every day. Little Crystals have a really friendly environment and the staff there are great too! I wouldn’t recommend any other nursery. Any concerns are automatically dealt with in a professional way by the staff. It’s a relief to know my niece attends an amazing nursery.
