My 2 year old son absolutely loves coming to nursery. He took some time to adjust to the transition from his old childcare setting but the staff here went above and beyond to make sure that he was happy and supported in this. He has formed strong bonds with the members of staff in his room.The team are all exceptional, the range of activities available on offer each day are varied and a big effort is made to promote and celebrate all festivals and calendar events throughout the year through different art activities, stories and specially organised parent, sibling and child tea parties. I couldn't be happier with the nursery and highly recommend it.

I love the nursery. The stuff are amazing! My girl happy to go in every single day (and would come over the weekend if she could). The activities are age appropriate, and they have a personal goals for each kids..I truly feel that she is seen.

All the staff at this nursery are phenomenal. They make us feel that our children are well taken care of. The nursery take feedback really well. There are brilliant structured activities for the children and a great menu. My only qualm would be that the baby room does not have a seperate sleep room and babies play and sleep in the same area. Which means if your baby is a light sleeper the transition period is going be long and always have an overtired baby. This is more of a ratio/space issue that head office were not able to solve and thus we took our youngest somewhere else but will most definitely bring her back when she's two and can go to the toddler room (where there is a seperate sleep room and play room). Also, the garden is small. Our daughter doesn't mind but I imagine if you have very active children that need to run around loads, it might be a problem. Love this nursery so much!

The staff are incredibly accommodating and very friendly, making both children and parents feel welcome and supported. My daughter adores all the staff members, which speaks volumes about their warmth and care. The nursery keeps us updated every day on our daughter's activities and progress, ensuring we are always in the loop. One of the highlights is their commitment to outdoor time; they make sure the children enjoy garden time regularly. Another fantastic feature is their book corner. My daughter is captivated by it and spends a lot of time there, fostering her love for reading at an early age. Overall, me and my husband couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

Having moved to Little Garden Nursery after a really terrible previous nursery experience, Little Garden was the best choice we could possibly make for our twins. The staff are incredible, patient, experienced and trustworthy. They made every day a true delight for our boys and we couldn't possibly be happier with their overall experience. The team help boost the children's confidence every day and has such a warm and caring ethos. Little Day is without a doubt the best nursery around! 10/10.

Our little one has really enjoyed her time at The Finchley Day Nursery. The staff have been great since day one, always friendly and smiling. The nursery enriches the usual activities with a weekly class of drama and one of French. I was so amazed when our daughter came home and started counting to 10 in French!

The Finchley Day Nursery provides a safe, caring and engaging environment for children to thrive in. My daughter (19 months)has been attending this nursery for a few months. This was after pulling her out of another new nursery in East Finchley. The staff managed her transition extremely well. They are warm, caring and professional. The room lead plans engaging activities for the little ones. You can really tell the staff work as a team. The manager is exceptional. She is very personable. Unlike some nurseries where management hide in an office, her door is always open and she makes it a point to get to know the parents and kids. The food at the nursery is nutritious and obviously delicious as my daughter eats very well! She’s on a milk ladder and they are very good at communicating any important information with me. Knowing my daughter is so happy, being nurtured, taught and taken such good care of really puts my mind at ease and I highly recommend this nursery for those reasons.

My son used to go to this nursery and he was absolutely happy. Now my daughter is attending there. The staff are really friendly, the teachers are amazing and treat children with warmth and care. We have experience in 3 different nurseries. This nursery for us is the best.

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 14 months old and is now almost 3. She was initially settled with so much care and love in the baby room and then again for the step up into the toddler room seamlessly. We are extremely happy with the way the nursery has nurtured her and excited her every day. Their guidance and help with potty training was exceptional and she was potty trained so quickly thanks to their assistance. The staff are all very loving, experienced, knowledgeable and caring meeting the needs of both the children and the parents. She has so much enjoyment and finds the day very fulfilling. We particularly love the children experiencing all festivities and celebrations and the multinational flags outside the nursery giving a global international vibe. The nursery has beautiful rooms and equipment and an outside play area which is safe and engaging. Absolutely happy with our choice!

The nursery offers a safe, engaging environment for my son. The staff are professional and genuinely caring, fostering a love for learning in the kids. The nursery maintains high standards of cleanliness and safety, providing nutritious meals suitable for all diets. Communication is a strong point, with regular, informative updates about our child's progress. It’s a great place for children to grow and develop essential skills in a supportive setting.

We visited a few nurseries in the area and really liked the family feel of this one. At this early age, our main aim was to have the babies part from us every morning feeling happy and comfortable in the setting. This happened very quickly as the staff are all very warm, calm and caring. They do all the typical activities you would expect but also make huge efforts to celebrate festivals of different faiths and key dates in the year. They host special Mother’s/Father’s Day breakfasts and many other events which parents are welcome to. Since joining in August 2022, the nursery has employed additional members of staff. Our children have had the same key members throughout which is hugely important as I know many nurseries with regular staff turnover. We get a daily log and photos of the activities covered. Staff are approachable and open which makes it a wonderful place to leave our babies at each day.

We are very glad to have found such a lovely nursery for our children and we currently have our second child at the nursery. Both children enjoyed (and enjoy) going to the nursery (formerly known as Scribbles). The best thing and arguably the most important thing about any nursery is the staff who are absolutely fantastic. They are very caring and kind and the kids love them. Both children have grown so much and learned a lot during their time at the nursery. They offer a lot of different activities (French, drama, etc.), weekly show-and-tell topics to learn about and even small and even 'small homework' to do. The management is brilliant, very responsive and helpful. We couldn't have chosen a better nursery and we will be very sad when it is time to say goodbye!

My child is very happy at this nursery. It has been amazing to see him develop his motor skills through the play activities and gain confidence to be a fairly independent 2-year-old. He has bonded really well with the staff and is happy to leave me in the morning to get a welcome hug from them.

Lovely and caring staff, good learning and development plan and very good menu selection. The transition from being an independent nursery to becoming part of Family First was complicated at first but the Manager and the team have been very responsive and understanding. Our daughter is always happy to go to nursery!

My daughter is 2 and absolutely loves going to nursery. She had a special bond with her key workers and has settled there incredibly well and quickly. She has been there for about 4 months now. They have also really helped with potty training and the staff have a lovely manner and approach to the kids. We’re really happy with it!

Our daughter has been at this nursery for 2 years. She has been cared for exceptionally and we love the nursery staff. The staff are well trained, and kind and we have always had the utmost confidence in leaving her in their care. We have had a couple of issues with accounts around the fees where we have been charged the incorrect amount or told we have not paid when we have. I think this may have been a teething issue with the transfer from the previous nursery owners to Finchley Day Nursery but it did happen on a number of occasions. This is however no reflection on the nursery staff team who have been excellent.

I can recommend Little Garden very highly. We are delighted with the teachers and support at the nursery, and my daughter loves going each day. I love getting photo and updates of what she does each day and appreciate the mix between learning, teaching and making sure the children have fun. A very easy 5 stars!

I couldn't have found a better nursery for my daughter to attend. The nursery has a genuine family feel and everyone made us feel so welcome from the very first day. The staff and facilities are exceptional. My girl absolutely loves it and has grown so much in confidence over her time there.

We love The Finchley Day Nursery! Our son started almost two years ago and has grown to absolutely love the setting, teachers, and other children. He runs in with a smile on his face every day now and comes back with lots of exciting things to tell us. He is loving their weekly "show and tell" time, as well as picking a new library book every week and spending a lot of time in the garden. This will be his last year before he starts school, and we will all surely miss everyone at the nursery!
