View Full Details of Ashbourne Day Nurseries at SwanbourneOur son has been attending Ashbourne Nursery Swanbourne for over 2 years now. We cannot recommend this nursery enough – Highlights for us have definitely been the countryside set up with the farm next door, woodlands to play in, great indoor spaces, modern facilities, imaginative activities each day for the children, and the fantastic keyworkers that our son has had since he joined. He has built great relationships with his key workers - often running to the gates for cuddles with them and is always excited about what the day will bring. Something that was important to us when looking for a nursery has been how inclusive and thoughtful the team has been around how they approach us as same-sex parents and work with our son. We have enjoyed sending our son to Ashbourne in Swanbourne. A shout-out to the 3 key workers who are currently working with our son, and all of his past key workers who have been fantastic with him – 3 other members of staff in particular, etc – Thank you all!
I could not feel more positively about the pre-reception staff here. They combine professionalism, knowledge, creativity and kindness to create a wonderfully fun and stimulating environment for the kids. They frequently take them to the next-door farm, allotments and village playpark, ensuring that there is plenty of outdoor learning. My little one loves his time there and is learning and developing so much.
My daughter has been attending Ashbourne since she was 11 months old. Both the management and staff go above and beyond to provide her with the best possible care. My daughter is incredibly happy there and I honestly cannot recommend the nursery enough.
Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. My daughter is absolutely thriving there, with staff being so attentive to her. I get daily updates around what she’s doing and how she is progressing in the nursery. Every member of staff is so passionate about their role within the nursery and they all clearly really care for every child. I’d love to keep her there forever!
The people at Ashbourne work so hard, and show such excellent care for all of the students at the nursery. It can be hard dropping off your precious little one, and heading off to work. But when my daughter runs in, excited to see everyone each day and describes the staff there as her best friends, I can’t help but feel comforted. Thank you all!
My daughter has been coming to Ashbourne at Swanbourne since Sept 23, she settled very quickly and now she loves it! The whole nursery has a family feel to it, the staff are all very caring and friendly and the manager and deputy manager are both lovely and very approachable if you do have any questions. I highly recommend this nursery.
My little boy has been going here since six months old and now he’s 2, all the staff have been amazing with him, he has progressed so much and every day he comes out with a huge smile after an amazing day! Highly recommend!
My son has been coming to Ashbourne at Swanbourne since January of this year, he has settled in fantastically and really enjoys his days there. He has made lots of friends and made some strong bonds with the staff. I recommend the nursery to everyone
My son (2.5 years) has been at this nursery for around 8 months and although he had a rocky start, he soon settled in, began to make relationships and bonds with his key worker and with little ones in his class. He eats better here than he does at home, always comes home having taken part in lots of different activities inside and out, and is always happy to go in. My daughter started at the nursery when she was 8 months old and honestly, I think she likes it better there than at home. She loves her key worker, often not wanting to come back to me at the end of the day (charming!) but I love that because I know she's being taken care of and has had so much fun. Both rooms do lots of super creative activities and crafts and also take the children to the farm next door to see the animals! I'm so glad we found Ashbourne. One of the girls also babysits for us and I know the children are in very safe hands. The people who work there really make it a special place.
An amazing caring and developmental nursery. We recently moved here recently from London and I am astounded at how quickly my son has settled here - he absolutely adores the staff here and he has developed so much.
My son attended Ashbourne Day Nursery at Swanbourne from 10 months old and is due to graduate in August 21. The care and support given by the whole team throughout his time there has been excellent. You know that your child is in safe hands and if there are any problems they always communicate with you. I believe that if my son had never attended this nursery his learning and development would not be what it is today. I can’t thank the team enough.
My nephew has been going to Ashbourne at Swanbourne for the past year. He has absolutely thrived in the nursery environment. The staff are incredibly friendly and reassuring. They make drop-offs so easy, they are all brilliant. I cannot fault the nursery or its staff.
Both of my children have attended Swanbourne, from 2017 until present and the staff have shown nothing but care and love for them through their time there. My oldest is now at school but the nursery was flexible for her to attend during holidays when she was still within their age range. I feel confident and trusting in leaving my children with the staff at the nursery and they always come home after having such fun. Throughout the years, both children have been looked after by various staff and they have all been amazing. We have been very happy with the nursery over the years and will be sad when our youngest leaves.
Our two boys both attend at Swanbourne and we couldn’t be happier. They love going to nursery and I know that they are incredibly well cared for by the amazing staff. The nursery has a real family feel and they really nurture the individual personalities of the kids. I am always amazed by how much the boys learn and how creative the carers are with a huge variety of activities on offer. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone trying to make a decision on where to send their children.
Our son has attended the Swanbourne setting from 11 months old; he will turn 4 this year. As he’s progressed through each room, my husband and I have always been very impressed with the level of care provided by the team at Swanbourne. Our child has formed an attachment with each key worker allocated to him, which is lovely to see and makes us, as parents feel at ease when dropping him off. We love that there are always outdoor activities available and a weekly trip to the allotment is his favourite. There is always clear communication from the manager and her team and they have handled last year and now this year fantastically. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery! Thank you to all the team at Swanbourne!
The team at Swanbourne have been amazing. I was nervous going back to work and leaving my baby who has allergies but the care he has received has been amazing they are so good with his allergies. My son has really thrived at the nursery in both duckings and lambs. He’s a really outdoorsy boy and it’s great how much time they spend in the garden and visiting the farm he’s very excited to see the tractors and hear the cows when I pick him up. I can’t thank the team enough.
A fantastic day nursery in a lovely village setting surrounded by farm animals and tractors. The real selling point though is the dedicated and enthusiastic staff who do a fantastic job at caring for all the children. Our son has attended since he turned one year old and now runs through the gates with excitement each morning. Attending this nursery has built his confidence with other toddlers and really helped his cognitive development through the creative tasks that are set out each day. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a more intimate nursery setting for their child. Well done and thank you to the wonderful team at Swanbourne!
I can not express the amazing changes in character, development and well-being we have seen since moving to this amazing nursery. With 3 children here we see quite a few different members of staff, but all know every detail about our children. The level of care we have seen has been second to none, it truly is a second home for our little ones and even when they aren't at nursery our conversations and role-play evolves around the carers and the environment. They love each and every one of their carers as much as their carers love and care for them. We have also seen daily, the level of consideration and thought that goes into the children's day. Ensuring that every aspect of their day helps their development in some way. From the sensory room to fine motor skills, running and their favourite place, the allotment. With regular trips to plant, harvest food, learn about nature and have fun! We could not recommend this nursery more. Thank you to each and every one of your incredible team.
Ashbourne at Swanbourne are an outstanding nursery with a warm welcoming team of staff! My son started here after trying out 2 different preschools and settled in comfortably in the first week alone! He loves coming to 'school' and talks about it frequently at home! He always has access to his favourite things and that makes his time at nursery so enjoyable for him while being able to learn and try new things too. The team have made me feel happy and comfortable to leave him after not being able to in previous settings so for this I'm forever grateful. The manager is always willing to answer any questions or queries and always does so in a professional and informative manner. They go above and beyond and are truly a fantastic nursery!
Great nursery! I've only managed to drop and collect my son a few times due to work but the ladies are very welcoming and inform me all about his day upon collection. Due to not being able to pick up and collect often I love receiving the tapestry notifications to show me what he's been up to at nursery and my son loves looking through them with me and telling me about his day. He has settled very well and being a very outdoorsy boy the allotment area is one of his favourite places. The ladies welcomed him, showed him unknowingly his favourite toy (animals) and took the time to get to know his likes and dislikes. Highly recommend.
