View Full Details of The House that Jack Built - HazlemereOur daughter has attended this nursery since she was 6 months old and we only have positive comments to make. When choosing a nursery, it was really important to me that she went to a setting that felt like a home from home and that the staff were caring and warm. This nursery instantly met the brief. The staff here are fantastic and the bond that she has with them is evident. It is really clear that the staff here spend time with the children playing and developing skills, not just typing endless notes for nursery apps. Their priorities are completely in the right place. I would (and already have) thoroughly recommend The House that Jack Built in Hazlemere to anyone with young children. It has been wonderful watching our daughter build strong bonds with her caregivers and make so much progress in such a short space of time. We always feel confident that she will have a lovely day with her friends and will be cared for and treated with the utmost respect which is all we can ask for.
My daughter has attended here for over a year and loves it. The staff are attentive and clearly care about each child's development. I feel confident that my daughter is in a supportive and caring environment that helps her thrive.
My son has been attended this nursery for a year now since he was 1. I have nothing but positive things to say, the staff there are lovely and do great things with the kids. The process and manners my son has gained from attended has been amazing and he always loves to go to nursery which is beautiful to see. The staff do loads of activities with the children and always have different things every week. I'm really happy with the nursery and how supportive they have been towards us as new parents. Would highly recommended the House that Jack Built to anyone x
Our son has attended THTJB for 3 and a half years. We have had such a positive experience with this nursery. They care for our son on a full time basis. The staff are highly experienced especially in managing deployments for military families. I received a letter from my son and a package of art and photos which is definitely an example of them going above and beyond expectations. The manager and CEO of the company have been consistent, and there is very little staff churn. His key person has remained the same throughout. I am sure this stability is why he has thrived with THTJB. A special mention should also go to the chef who produces the most wonderful fresh food for the children. I never have to worry about a varied diet because he receives this every day. Communication with the team is exemplary and I don't have to worry if my son is poorly because I know I will be contacted when appropriate. Cleanliness is also 10/10 - very few family sick bugs.
I have been so impressed with The House That Jack Built. My son started when he was just over a year old and they were fantastic at helping him feel settled. He walks through the door with a smile everyday and back out again with an even bigger smile! Although it's a small site, they use the space really well and offer lots of outdoor and inside activities despite having a smaller space. They communicate well with parents and let us know what activities they plan for the month, a daily write up on the whiteboard outside, and update the photo board too. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough - thank you THTJB.
We moved from another nursery to The House that Jack Built and I'm so glad we did. The ladies who work at the site are all so wonderful and have been so supportive to my daughter who is a military child. They know her so well and can pick up on any time when she isn't herself or is unwell. Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since being with The House that Jack Built Nursery. She has made lovely little friends and is always so excited to go to nursery. The menu options are fantastic and balanced and the chef is lovely. It truly is a home-from-home type nursery! It will be a shame when we move on to big school as we will miss everyone at the nursery.
My daughter started here in September 2023 and she was not walking yet but after being there for a week and a half she started walking and developing so much. The guys that work there are considerate, caring, and supportive. She loves it there! Would highly recommend for your little ones!
We looked far and wide to find a childcare provider and were cautious about where to place our daughter, following a negative experience with a childminder. Once we met the staff here we knew that this was the only place we would ever want her to go. It is no exaggeration to say that she has thrived here in every capacity, her speech has improved, she eats a huge range of meals, is provided with wonderful educational experiences and refers to the staff as her best friends. I drop her off in the mornings knowing that she is going to have an incredible day, which means that I can relax knowing she is having the best possible time - in fact, she waits by our door in the mornings ready to go and see her friends and tells me to hurry up. From art and crafts to reading, to gardening, to cooking to the joy of just interacting with other children - there is no better provider of childcare locally - and I've seen a lot as a teacher.
We had the very good fortune to send both of our children to The House That Jack Built Nursery. Good fortune because they both thoroughly enjoyed their time there. Our son started 8 months before he was due to start school. When he started school he was ready, the extra tips and advice we received from the nursery were invaluable and his transition to school was seamless. Our daughter attended from the age of 1 and enjoyed every phase of her time at the nursery. Common to both of their experiences was the provision of a loving, caring and nurturing environment by The House that Jack Built team. The structure and routine the nursery adheres to were very much appreciated by our children and replicates the structured environment that they have both gone onto experienced at school. In sum, the manager and the team at The House that Jack Built have given our children the very best start in life; they understand what is wrong, what is right, and how to interact, care, share and be polite. We cannot recommend The House that Jack Built enough.
We feel incredibly privileged to have found this nursery for both our son and daughter. From the moment we walked through the doors and met the team, it was evident that this was the best setting we could ever wish for during the early years. The staff at the nursery have been nothing short of amazing. Their dedication and genuine love for children shine through in everything they do. We've watched our kids grow, learn, and develop new skills, all thanks to the nurturing environment. Safety and cleanliness are top priorities, which brings us peace of mind as parents. The facilities are well-maintained and equipped with everything a child could need. We truly can't express our gratitude enough for this wonderful nursery. It has been an incredible start to our children’s lives and we are excited to watch them continue to thrive with the skills they have learned for their start to school life. We truly feel blessed and sincerely thank the team for making this journey so special!
This is a fantastic nursery. My son has really developed here, they really do care for each child on a personal level. My son's language and behaviour has improved tremendously since joining here. He is so happy to go every morning and I greet him with a huge smile on his face, it is obvious he really loves going to this nursery. He loves playing with children of all ages and he is highly stimulated baking, growing food and crafts. The staff retention is great unlike other nurseries and you can see they put huge amount of efforts into teaching and stimulating the children, I am very impressed with the lengths that they go on a day to day basis. I wish we had found this nursery sooner, you couldn't ask for a better place to leave your child.
I must admit, I was very nervous at first in rolling my child into nursery as I suppose every parent is. I looked at three different nursery settings before visiting this one. It wasn't as modern or big as some, but I really enjoyed the charm and friendliness. I am honestly so pleased I picked this nursery setting. I can't speak highly enough of the management and staff, especially the Senco. Most definitely puts the child's best interests before prophets. They made sure my child had the best start in life and helped me and my husband to parent a child with additional needs by offering extra support, advice and guidance to ensure the best for our child. The Senco worked extremely hard to put in place an EHPC ready for our daughter when she started school, without their help, hard work and determination our daughter wouldn't have the support and help she needs in reception.
Our son thoroughly enjoys his time at The House That Jack Built, he has flourished in his learning and impresses us with his counting, speech and recognition of numbers and letters which we attribute to the nursery and the staff. He loves the family feel of the nursery and the cross age group interaction. We would not hesitate in recommending this nursery and are always more than comfortable leaving our son in their amazing care.
When viewing nurseries for my daughter to attend, I found that so many are large with lots of children and I was worried about the attention she would receive. Then I visited THTJB and instantly felt comfortable. It is small enough for every staff member to know every child and I was confident of the care she would receive. Our daughter loves her time here and has really thrived. She regularly interacts with the children in different age groups and this has really helped with her development. This is a fantastic nursery and I feel very confident leaving our daughter in their care.
My daughter is now two years old and enjoys going to nursery every day. I was fascinated by her singing the Christmas songs and doing all the actions at the Christmas play. She really enjoyed this special season and the creations that they make in the nursery are lovely. Staff at The House that Jack Built in Hazlemere are very caring, welcoming and prompt in communication with parents.
Since my son started as a baby up and through to the Pre-School age, the level of care at The House that Jack Built has been very good. The mixing of the age groups at this nursery, the high-quality meals and the emphasis on discipline and manners have really helped him to develop well.
