There is so many positives to this nursery. The manager is outstanding. Kind and compassionate. Very visible and approachable! My boy started here at 10 months when I finished materinty leave and as you could understand, it killed me to leave him with strangers. These strangers are now my friends and he loves them! One staff member in baby room is outstanding at what she does. So much love for all the children and thinks of everything. She works so hard to make sure each individual child is supported. I never had any issues when my boy was in babies in fact he loved it so much he enjoys going back in to say hello. Now he is in toddlers and he is still loves it. We are going through big feelings at the moment and they are so supportive. He and his key worker have such an incredible bond. However, he feels safe with all the staff. I am so grateful for the team and everything they do for us. They inform us well of everything too. I could go on and run out of characters.

The team at Brooksward are amazing and so caring! I know I can always rely on them and they are always coming up with fun activities that teach new things to the children. I am so grateful for the entire team for the love they show my children!

Have a 3-year-old who attends the preschool, previously at the nursery since 10 months old. Prior to this my son, who is now 6, attended the preschool site. Both kids have thrived and flourished here. My son has since been diagnosed with autism but was undiagnosed when first started - the manager at the time got in touch with all the necessary teams to ensure that my son received the necessary funding and support and would be as supported as possible. Within weeks they received funding from inclusion and intervention and a 1:1 to cover mealtimes (as he struggled with mealtimes). He started as non-verbal and within 2 months became preverbal and started speaking his first words. I firmly believe that the support he received was a direct result of his flourishing so soon after attending. My daughter absolutely loves attending, she has learned many life skills and is so independent. The staff are wonderful, and a breath of fresh air. All staff are wonderful and seem to work here for the kids, rather than treat it as a job.

My daughter is over the moon every time she has to go to nursery and that is five times a week. I can tell that she is very well cared for and her teachers are always happy to see her in the morning. Recently the location has been redecorated and it looks amazing. Happy daughter, happy parents!

Can not fault this nursery, the staff are incredible. They provide daily updates on my son's activities whilst being there. Very welcoming with my son on arrival, even when he's not having such a good day they have endless cuddles for him to help him settle. I love the fact they do a progress sheet every month or so, so I can see how my little one is getting on. My son has such a lovely time there. He started pretty much barely speaking and they have helped boost his confidence and we now have a little chatterbox.

I cannot fault Brooksward Day Nursery. Ever since our son started they have made every effort to make sure he settled in well and kept us involved in the whole process. The nursery is clean and a lovely environment for the kids to explore and learn. My son went from crying when going in to walking in on his own without even looking back. The staff are so friendly and caring towards the children and make so much effort to get to know them and their families. Our son has already gained so much confidence and has learned so many new skills and he has only been there since February! We are so happy we decided on Brooksward and it has made my return to work much easier knowing he is going in happy. Thank you to the manager and your whole team.

I cannot fault the team at Brooksward. They are brilliant with how they look and help explore my little ones' needs and imagination. We had some bad bits, but they have helped us and our wellbeing, to implant what we are doing at home and they will do it at nursery.

The ladies in the baby room have been amazing. Our daughter took a while to settle, but once she did, she has been happy and engaged at the setting.

Brooksward day Nursery is a great place for kids. The staff there care about the children. I wish I had found the preschool sooner. I recommend Brooksward Day Nursery.

My three year old boy has been attending since October 2020 and I really wish I’d have enrolled him here sooner. He was previously at a different nursery in Fishermead where he made absolutely no progress. On his first day the manager got the ball rolling for funding as we knew he needed extra support. She assigned the preschool SENCO as his key worker and within months he now has funding for extra support and is a completely different child! He was previously non-verbal but with the effort and level of care and attention by all the staff at Brooksward Day Nursery, he is talking and is so much more sociable. He has since also been diagnosed with ASD but since his very first day, the level of care shown to him from each staff member ensured me that he felt welcome. He always looks forward to going in and we put him in an extra day as he would wake up on a Friday and wait by the door to be dropped off. He is achieving all his targets and milestones so fast we literally can’t keep up. Would highly recommend!

My granddaughter loved attending this nursery, she transitioned from the toddler room through to the preschool and the consistency was nothing but reassuring. My granddaughter got to experience new things which she is unable to do at home, and was always eager to tell me about her new experiences and achievements. Having my granddaughter happy and confident to attend a setting where she had good relationships with the staff and children, brought me nothing but happiness. For me it was always important for her to feel safe and comfortable and that’s what this nursery provided her with.

My 6-year-old has attended this nursery since being a baby and now goes to holiday club. When he was a baby he was constantly on medication due to being premature but I always felt at ease by the professional staff administering them. Wonderful staff and such a fantastic nursery all round. I would always recommend to friends.

I have been blown away by the high standards in the baby room at Brooksward Nursery!! Leaving your child for the first time is no easy thing, but I can safely say I have always felt reassured, calm and happy with the way the staff have been. I have loved seeing the recent changes made to the room and truly believe this is the way forward to ensure quality first teaching! Thank you for everything you all do!!!

Our daughter has been attending from the age of 6 months. To see the bonds she has with her caregivers from day one following her settling in sessions is really comforting. The staff really know her interests and have given her lovely learning opportunities through play within the indoor and outdoor environments. We notice new development aspects each week and love sharing what she has been doing with family and friends.

Very kind managers, they helped me everytime with all my questions, especially as we are a Romanian family. Very fast in responding to emails. I recommend to all of you, it inspires me their confidence and attention for children.

My son followed my daughter into the nursery. The staff are caring and extremely helpful to us as parents. Some management changes have led to some confusion, but both children love it. The activities are highly developmental and challenging for the youngsters involved which leads to high levels of problem-solving skills.

This was the only nursery that had space when I asked for. I had to email the manager every few weeks with complaints but nothing much changed, so I changed nursery. They only do three diaper changes unless there is an odd poo. My child always came home with heavy diapers and his eczema cream wasn't applied properly. They make promises they never keep. Lost multiple items over the year that was never found. His jackets were always wet and I could squeeze and get water out. His clothes were always dirty. I have never seen enough staff with the kids either. They don't wake up the child if he sleeps more than two hours, making life difficult for me at home. After multiple attempts, I gave up. It didn't work for a single mum like me. All I wanted was to feel that my son was well taken care of and I didn't need to worry about him when I went to work. Some of the girls who work there are amazing. It's just that they are stuck, as they need to obey the managers.

Best nursery I have used, staff are friendly and the turnover of staff is low. My daughter loves the staff and feels comfortable with them. Space is amazing for children two outdoor area's and three indoor rooms with new activities every day. There is a learning journey week for your child every few weeks (4-6 Weeks) which helps you see your child's progression. Love nursery and will continue to use them.

This is a very good Nursery, they do an excellent job looking after the children, teaching them and playing, my Son's progression seems really good here.

My child has attended this nursery for the past 18 months. The facilities and outside space are really good and the nursery even has a few pets for the children to look after. The children are encouraged to play outside and to be active. The nursery has varied activities and even has trips out within the local community and forest school which my child loves. There is a low turnover of staff so they get to know my child and he knows them. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and have helped my son to develop his independence. My son really enjoys attending this nursery and will be fully prepared for school from his time here.
