View Full Details of Kiddi Caru Day Nursery HarlowI am very happy with how my son has settled in so well, thanks to the caring and attentive staff. The environment is warm, safe, and engaging, with plenty of stimulating activities. We've seen such positive growth in his confidence and development. Highly recommend!
My son spent more than 3 years at Kiddi Caru Church Langley. He was upset when I told him he will no longer be going there. He keeps saying how much he misses his room and all the ladies working there. We never had any issues - from room stuff to the management, they were always so helpful and lovely. They are so professional and nice that I'm missing them too. I can highly recommend this Nursery. If you wish to see your child being in good hands and happy that's the nursery for you.
My daughter started in May last year and since starting she has flourished in every single aspect. She started in the baby room where she built lovely bonds, moved to the toddler room and ran through the door every day and trying to drag her out on collection. She is now in the 2-year-old room and loves to come home and tell us she's been painting or playing with her friends. The staff are fantastic!
We are very pleased with our experience at this nursery so far. It's our first time, and our child is settling in well and being taken care of wonderfully. Although it's still early days, the transition has been smooth, and our little one already loves going to nursery. The staff are amazing, caring and attentive and the facilities are great. We're happy to have chosen this nursery for our child!
My son has been attending Kiddi Caru for just over 2 years now, and I am so happy I found this nursery. I had just pulled him out of a different nursery that I was unhappy with. This is why I chose to give Kiddi Caru a chance and have a viewing/start my son there despite what I now know were some unfair and inaccurate Ofsted reports. The staff are the kindest most genuine people. My son has trouble with separation anxiety but quickly built close relationships with the staff and always enjoys a cuddle with them to calm down in the mornings when I'm leaving. The nursery itself is well-equipped and offers lots of fun things for the children to do. I'm so grateful to all the staff management included. This nursery is amazing.
My daughter is currently attending the setting and has settled in amazingly. All the staff are caring towards her and have dealt with her allergies without any issues. They have always answered my questions without an issue and the management team are always on hand to deal with any other queries. Very pleased with the decision to put my daughter here.
Kiddi Caru Harlow is definitely one of the best nurseries in its area. My daughter has developed really well, has made lots of friends and enjoys her days here since attending. The staff are very attentive and really get to know each child and their differences including their needs and their routines in and out of school. I have noticed a high staff turnover however this hasn't affected (from what I can see) the children who are all happy and supported regardless of these changes. The schools communication is good usually through app or phone-call, the food is great which varies and is healthy, the entertainment is fun and educational and the outdoor space available in the garden is what really sold us applying for our child to attend which is really fit for purpose, again fun and educational with lots of space. 5 stars!
I think it's great for any parent when their child integrates very quickly and you see them happy there, as it happened with my little girl, so you really are wonderful. Lots of activities and playgrounds to delight the little ones.
My child really enjoys her days in this nursery and has made friends and always loves the adults in the classroom. I have marked down slightly in the ratings because they seem to be continually short-staffed (with a lot of people leaving recently) and this has definitely affected the communication given to us parents via the app. We no longer get all meal/nap/toilet updates which is frustrating when trying to understand what to give them for dinner that night and especially when potty training. I would be grateful for more updates about potty training each day for support getting them through this period. I understand the key workers may have gone home by the time we pick the child up but perhaps key workers can send us an update on their day on the app instead when they can't do it verbally? Overall though, very happy with my child's experience here.
Fantastic, hard-working staff, who are so friendly and supportive. A wonderful environment for my son, and I have really noticed the developments in his learning and language since he started. They do so many varied things, and the food offered is excellent too so much variety in flavours and all healthy.
We have had nothing but a positive experience with Kiddi Caru Nursery. From the first visit when picking a nursery for our son, we were made to feel welcome, and it was the most professional nursery we had seen. It felt safe, and the staff felt very attentive to what we needed to work for our family. The patience we received when our son first started was really appreciated. We were given so much flexibility on settling in days to ensure the transition was as smooth as possible, not just for our son but for us as parents too. We've seen so much development from our son since starting here. He is confident, happy and so excited to attend nursery. His speech is getting better and he has picked up so many new skills, which only increases our confidence in our choice of nursery. The key workers and staff that work there are amazing. They've been really supportive and have helped us understand how to make childcare work better for us. Honestly couldn't recommend it enough!
Kiddi Caru was a brilliant nursery until there was a change in management. Lots of staff going on sick which then backfired onto us as my little girl wasn’t allowed in due to staffing numbers. Towards the end of her time there it was just a shambles.
My daughter joined in January she is 17 months old. We had a good settling-in and induction process. The staff in Bluebell Room are really supportive and caring and it only took my daughter a few days of being upset to enjoying going in each morning really happy and settling into routine. I receive cute updates consistently throughout the day via the app which is great and reassuring and the staff seem to be efficient in this. So far my daughter is really enjoying her time here at Kiddi Caru Harlow.
I send my daughter to nursery, and they inform me of everything she gets up to. The app they have, which they fill out constantly throughout the day is just amazing. The staff care about her and comfort her when she needs it. As a Mum, this is everything I could have asked for and more. My daughter has the best time and always is happy to go in and has a massive smile when she comes home. Would recommend the nursery to everyone.
Overall the facilities at Kiddi Caru Harlow are amazing. There is a large purpose-built garden with lots of different themed areas to help promote children's development. They have a sensory cabin with soft flooring and walls, lots of lighting which the children love. The staff there are very caring and previously there was a focus on your child's development, themed play and keeping the parents updated with their children's progress. With a high number of staff leaving mostly members of staff who have been there for 5+ years and room leaders the quality of care seems to have dropped. There appears to be a large disconnect between the management team and the actual staff providing the care. I know a lot of the room leaders aren't happy with the support they are receiving and from a parent's point of view there aren't enough key members of staff permanently in a room. In summary, the facilities are great, the staff on the ground are great it just lacks proper planning and leadership.
Amazing nursery. The staff are so kind and loving. They care for the children as if they are their own. I feel completely at ease when my child is at Kiddi Caru as I know he is safe. Brilliant freshly cooked food every day too.
Over the past two years, we have had a very positive experience, with our daughter being very happy in attendance and have always found the staff to be warm, receptive and helpful. We would comment that the fees are generally quite expensive, but have found these to be of good value overall.
My partner and I could not be happier with our daughter's attendance at the nursery. We feel confident and happy going to work knowing that she is happy - when we tell her we are going to nursery, she gets her coat and shoes to wait by the front door. She loves all the staff, in her room and those who work in other rooms, she is always smiling at the end of the day. We can't thank them enough for allowing us to return to work at what can be a daunting time for parents with babies, knowing that she is enjoying herself and is safe!
When my daughter started nursery I was worried about how she would cope. But after the first month, I just need to say that I'm well reassured to see that she has been very well looked after. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all staff, especially Pre-School staff, and a very special thank you to my daughter's key worker for her kindness and support well done Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Harlow!
Firstly the nursery staff are very caring, there is a genuine love for the children, however, they are being very let down with bad management. They are therefore unable to provide the children with stimulating activities to develop the children's skills. Staff ratios are at a worrying level, regularly being just over the safe/legal adult-to-child ratio and using loopholes to account for this lack of planning, using a 'building ratio' instead of physical adults in the relevant rooms. Many parents were being turned away at the door within recent weeks as they decided to 'cap' the entry of more children after 8:40. This has been brought up to management from parents and nursery staff alike. They are relying on bank staff, interns and agency staff due to bad planning and lack of care and ability to retain current, brilliant staff. This has meant children are very unsettled in their rooms as most staff members are on regular rotation, non-permanent staff or strangers/agency workers.
