We've been sending our child to this nursery for two years and couldn't be happier. After visiting every nursery in the area, we chose this purpose-built space with large, inviting rooms, a hall for activities, and varied outdoor play areas, including a playground and field. The staff are exceptional-kind, nurturing, and genuinely caring. Special thanks to the staff for their warmth and dedication. They keep the children engaged with activities like reading, singing and even teaching sign language. Independence is encouraged early, with support for using cutlery, potty training and self-directed play. The nursery provides regular updates, healthy meals and a welcoming environment. While the exterior could use some TLC, the attentive and passionate staff make this nursery stand out. We're confident our child has thrived here thanks to their care and encouragement.

My son was scheduled to begin attending this nursery in two weeks, but despite my efforts to contact them twice to arrange his settling-in sessions, I was informed by the Manager that, due to significant staff shortages, they can no longer offer him a place. He has been on the waitlist since April, and it is baffling that I was not notified of this issue earlier. When I inquired about the deposit I had paid, she mentioned she would need to consult with her manager and that I might get it back. This response is utterly unacceptable. I am appalled by the way they have handled this situation, leaving me without any childcare arrangements at such short notice.

My daughter has been attending Shoebury Nursery since turning one, and she is now almost three years old. She is always happy and fulfilled by the activities and genuine care provided by all of the staff. The staff are very warm and friendly, great communicators, and very flexible and efficient. They constantly provide stimulating activities and outdoor play incorporating phonics and numbers, encourage learning through messy play and build the children's imagination through stories, arts and crafts, dance and more. I'm extremely satisfied with the level of care and support that my child needs to thrive within a nursery setting and would highly recommend Shoebury Nursery and its excellent experienced staff. They have shown incredible resilience during unexpected periods of Covid, and are able to quickly adapt in an effective way for all. Fantastic management!

Very friendly and caring people who provide excellent communication to make you feel very comfortable and well informed. Our daughter has a fun time, learns a lot and is well looked after. Really appreciate everything they do.

Great communication and my little one learns so much and loves his time in the nursery. Very caring and knowledgeable staff who always have time to answer questions. Policies are stringent, and I feel my child is well cared for within the setting.

My son has been attending Shoebury Nursery since 2019, and he loves it. Certain things changed during the pandemic, understandably, and the staff were put under pressure, but they managed very well, and now, things are returning to what they once were. I will be sad when it is time for my son to leave for school.

My son loves being at the preschool. Staff are always very friendly and helpful, and I’ve felt very comfortable in all the time he has been there. I will be sad when he has to move on to reception this year, but because of the preschool, I feel he is very ready.

My daughter is very happy at this nursery. She runs in without a backwards glance most days. Great outdoor areas for the kids to play. Varied lunches throughout the week. Online chats are available through the nursery app, which is great, and I always get a response back. The nursery has also been extremely helpful whenever I have a question about funding or any other general queries.

I personally have never had any issues with the nursery or the staff. The staff are lovely, and they look after my daughter well. She always comes out happy and always tells me she’s had a fun good day.

Would highly recommend. They provide a fun, caring and familiar setting for the children, and mine have never had any qualms in leaving me to enter the nursery each day. I have zero doubts in the staff's capabilities and know they provide a great learning environment for all the children.

My son has been at Shoebury Nursery since she was 9 months and now leaving for school. When we looked to put our son in a nursery, we felt Shoebury Nursey had a good atmosphere and friendly staff. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are amazing. My son doesn't even say goodbye to us in the morning as he is so excited about going. They keep us updated on the app and provide photos and updates on the kid's activities.

A lovely, clean, nicely decorated nursery with displays and children's work, with happy to talk staff and lots of nice activities and learning done every day. Children seem happy and enjoy being there.

All staff are friendly and know my child really well. Management is supportive of staff and parents, and very hands-on and in touch with day to day runnings of the nursery. Happy and nurturing environment. I've seen my daughter blossom and develop in their care from 10 months old to 2 years plus.

I find all who work at Shoebury Nursery to always be very kind and helpful. They’ve been fantastic with my daughter who struggled initially with being separated from me but now she can’t wait to go each day and has formed fantastic relationships with the staff. She has also made great progress in her speech and being able to interact with other children since joining back in February.

The management at Shoebury Nursery is fabulous. My child has had a great learning experience and has made good progress. She enjoys each day and especially playing outside. Value for money is great.

Shoebury Nursery is outstanding. The staff are exceptionally caring and clearly have drive and passion in teaching the children. I receive regular updates and notifications from each session. I particularly like the session updates about whether my daughter has eaten. The Family app is brilliant and easy to follow. Any communications from either the parent or school can be documented. I find the competency milestones a great feature as it allows me to know how my daughter is doing. My friend's children are at other nurseries and are not fortunate to have this level of communication. My daughter has been at the nursery for some time now, and she has become a confident child who is always wanting to go to each session to meet with her friends and teachers. She has had personal sickness time and the staff are always willing to make adjustments and help where possible. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough and am extremely grateful for helping her have the best possible start.

My daughter attends the Shoebury Nursery and has come on in leaps and bounds. When she started, she was very much an independent single child, but now she has learnt the value of sharing and friendships. I love that she comes home singing nursery rhymes. The staff are always friendly and informative on handover, which I find very comforting.

Shoebury Nursery provides healthy meals and basics throughout the day. On a personal level, the staff are always available to help one-on-one with any difficulties we may be facing at home i.e reassurance with potty training and personalised plans if struggling with food. They take the time to really care for each individual pupil which is something I value in a learning environment, and although the day rate is pricey, I wouldn’t take my child to anywhere else.

I cannot rate Shoebury Nursery high enough, excellent staff, loads of activities and toys for the kids. My children absolutely love it here. Lovely garden areas for outdoor play and activities around events such as Diwali, Easter etc are all on offer for the children.

My son has been at Shoebury Nursery since he was 5 months old and we have been so happy with the support and care he has been given in the 3 years he has been with them. I was so nervous leaving him at the beginning and the staff supported my son and myself through the early days. He has grown in confidence and personality throughout the years. The app keeps you updated with events and allows easy communication with staff including photos of your child. There is a range of facilities and a proactive approach about getting children outside to learn which is great.
