My son was at Hopscotch for 2 and a half years. Throughout he has been well supported and had excellent key workers who diligently supported his development. In the past 2 months, Hopscotch has excelled at supporting my son with understanding his move to a foreign country and the gift of a bear with his own suitcase and passport to help with the transition, has gone above any expectations I had. My son will be able to send back photos of the bear to keep in touch with all of his Hopscotch friends, thank you!

The nursery is well organised. They are good at keeping you updated with the activities via the app. Although sometimes this can be late, and at times with not much notice for upcoming events. Daily diaries are updated promptly. Activities are tailored to meet the children's development needs. Their personal development goals/next steps are continuously reviewed and updated with key worker, staff and family to ensure they are meeting their milestones. Time is spent outside in all weather, with appropriate clothing requested as the weather changes. Meals are well balanced, there is variety and plenty if the children require larger portions. Dietary needs, religious requirements and special occasion menu options are available.

Fantastic facilities and friendly, caring staff. Shown great flexibility for us recently and would recommend to any parents looking for a nursery/preschool. Our son attended nursery and is now in preschool. Can speak for both departments when I say they are both great.

For the last 4 months, there has been a massive unsettling with inconsistency within staff and management. No support from a key worker, should have been with the child and a constant throughout their time at the setting. Overall I wouldn't send my youngest there. I'll be looking elsewhere when they're old enough to go.

My son started in the under 2 room in 2020 and has just finished Pre School to go in to school, I cannot recommend this nursery enough, the staff are just amazing, so attentive to every single child, you can tell everyone who works there takes pride and passion in their work. He had a problem with toilet training and was diagnosed with a speech disorder, everyone in Hopscotch Day Nursery were supportive, the communication was fantastic and we were all on the same page in regards to getting him to the level he needed to be, his confidence has grown so much over this last year. He was more then ready going into to school today full of confidence and that isn't just down to us as parents but the wonderful team at Hopscotch. He was always happy when we came to collect him and the staff are so informative at the handovers ensuring that you know what you child has been up to and was always excited to go back there the next day, you couldn't leave your child in safer hands. My granddaughter started in 2023. She loves going I like to collect her to hear all about her day, she talks about all the things she has done. The ladies are so friendly and invite you in warmly, they are keen to give you details about her day. Everyone I have dealt with has been so lovely. Thank you one and all as my granddaughter starts school in September she will miss you all. We appreciate all you have done for her.

My son absolutely loves it there. He's thriving, coming home with something new he's learnt nearly every day. Staff are absolutely amazing and encouraging, everyone is so friendly and we are always kept informed on the app about what he's eaten, right down to nappy changes. The manager is lovely and seems to know every child by name and her passion for working with little people is clearly translated down to the team. I really cannot recommend the place enough, just based on how happy and smiley my son runs in the morning.

I cannot speak highly enough about the wonderful experience my child has had at this nursery. The staff are not only incredibly friendly but also highly skilled and attentive, creating a nurturing environment where children thrive. The indoor space is well-designed, offering ample room for exploration and learning, while the outdoor area is a true delight, with playful features that encourage physical activity and imaginative play. I am consistently impressed by the dedication of the staff and the quality of care provided here. It's truly a gem of a nursery!

Hopscotch Nursery are always very informative and give me a lot of reassurance with their safeguarding procedures. The team are incredibly friendly and whenever I've given feedback about an issue, it is quickly looked at and reflected in future care.

It took my little boy a while to settle here, but the staff have all been fantastic with him, and his confidence has grown tremendously since he started. Communication was sometimes a bit lacking when he started last year, but the app is now always updated with details of nappy changes, what he's eaten and when he's slept by the time we pick him up at the end of the day. We also get regular photo and video updates of him enjoying himself throughout the day. The team organised a wide variety of activities for the kids to enjoy, including lots of messy play, which he would never get the opportunity to try at home. It's also been great to see him enjoying the lovely new outdoor space lots this summer. We've not experienced any issues, but if we had, I'm confident they would have been dealt with appropriately by the management team. The staff are all really warm and friendly, and all seem to really, really love working with kids, which has been the most important thing for us.

My child loves Hopscotch! All the staff are so friendly, and he always comes in happy to play with his friends! I get regular updates on the app and love seeing what he is up to! I love that he is always outside exploring the garden and has a great bond with his key workers! I have been happy throughout with the care from the baby room and now the toddler room! He always gets healthy food as his meals and a great selection! Very happy I’ve put him into Hopscotch!

My daughter was enrolled in January this year at 8 months old. I was apprehensive initially, which was soon reassured once she settled within the week and was excited to arrive at nursery in the mornings. Great communication from the nursery throughout the day via the app alongside a comprehensive handover each evening. Staff in the under 2's room appear to have great knowledge and understanding of my child's needs and personality. Always very welcoming and happy to help. I mentioned a concern I had with my child's development which her keyworker agreed they would focus on, within a few weeks she excelled in this area and any concerns were quickly resolved. The management team are visible and active, they also appear to have a great understanding of the children's personalities and my child is elated when she sees them. This evidences leadership within the nursery. Overall appears to be a great nursery and I'm very happy with my child's placement.

Our son now 22 months has been at Hopscotch since he was 8 months old. We have been really happy with all the care provided by the team in the under twos room. As a young starter, our son was given lots of attention when he was still a baby including making time for him to have cuddle naps when he refused to nap in the sleep room! Growing up, the team obviously had a real impact on his development of communication and confidence, in particular his love of music, doing the moves for nursery rhymes, Makaton for please and thank you, and words for his favourite animals and vehicles. He also has strong bonds with the team who are able to coax him inside to play when he just wants one more cuddle at drop-off. In terms of minor improvements, there could be better communication between management and staff about admin things (although I think this is better after recent changes), and from staff to us about developmental achievements and targets.

My little boy started in May and from his settle sessions I didn’t think we’d get to this point - going in to Babies without his dummy, giving smiles to all the ladies, exploring the room happily and so happy on pick ups! He still has his wobbles but he is settled and happy - that’s a massive thank you to the ladies for building such lovely bonds, having the patience and really getting to know the child’s likes and dislikes in such a short space of time! Meanwhile, my eldest moved up to preschool in June - he’s settling well but needing that little bit of extra support to settle to the new environment and the team are being really understanding and patient! I’m receiving thorough handovers and helpful tips to try at home too! Thank you! (Toddlers also have been an amazing team and group for my eldest before his move up! He built some special bonds with the lovely team and was always happy on pick ups - without fail!) I’m so glad I chose Hopscotch Day Nursery for both my boys.

My son has been here since August last year. He has come so far since starting with Hopscotch Day Nursery Gosport and both the baby room and toddler room are fantastic. Couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough. My son is happy and confident, he really enjoys his time at nursery. Happy baby = happy mum.

When talking with the staff in the under 2s room, I've found them to be extremely knowledgeable and caring for the children. We did have one issue, however this was promptly addressed and resolved to a high level. With everyone happier at the end. The space provided and the amount of equipment for the children is fantastic and amazing. With lots of outdoor play being facilitated. All in all, the under 2s room is fantastic as is the rest of the nursery and I would happily put another child of mine in there for the educational, development and nurturing support they provide both the children and the parents!!! Thank you all of the Hopscotch Staff!

My little girl loves coming here - she has settled in so well and it’s all because of the fantastic team in the baby room and everyone else! You, ladies, are amazing and have made her feel so comfortable and secure.

My daughter has developed so much at Hopscotch Day Nursery Gosport and learns something new every day. The team are very friendly and supportive of my daughter and her goals. We receive updates through the app as to what she gets up to which is great to see.

My son has been going to the Gosport Hopscotch Day Nursery since he was 5 months old. The staff are amazing helping to support him with his development. He's really started to bloom now with their help and he's improving daily. I would say to anyone looking for a nursery this one is fantastic.

My Son has attended Hopscotch Gosport since November 2021 and still to this day (June 2023!) I don’t have a bad word to say about the nursery. The whole team have been fab, I’m very particular about who I leave my Son with, yet almost right away when he was in the babies room I felt completely at ease. My son loves all the lovely staff who look after him and it’s clear to tell the staff really care about him too, including management who have been working with me and my son recently following a bout of poor health. Everything is communicated from his sleep, activities, emotions, to what he’s eaten that day. The staff here are all worth their weight in gold. I couldn’t imagine sending him anywhere else, they have my complete trust. Best nursery around!
