View Full Details of Eco Montessori, WinchesterOur experience with Echo Montessori Winchester has been nothing but outstanding. The manager is the friendliness person you ever speak to and all the teachers there are so committed to each child's development. My little boy joined this pre-school, unable to talk, and now he doesn't stop talking since they did one-to-one sessions teaching him how to express himself. I will be forever grateful for this. If you are looking for a preschool that will bring your child out of their shell, then this is the preschool for you.
My son went to this nursery from 11 months old until he turned 2. The staff is very caring and you can tell they really put the children’s interests first. They organise lots of activities and they are very good at comforting the babies when they’re upset. The outside space is very limited. They do go out regularly though. They’ve improved their Ofsted rating recently by making some changes. They don’t provide nappies, wipes and sunscreen like some other nurseries but that means you can choose what goes on your baby’s skin. After leaving, it has taken them 3 months to refund my deposit and I only got it back after signalling it to court so just something to be aware of. All in all a great nursery with lovely staff but improvement needs to be made at management level.
Our three-year-old has been at this nursery for nearly a year and absolutely loves it. It's a warm, nurturing environment and all the staff are lovely and seem to really care about the children. Our daughter has blossomed since she started there and her confidence has really grown. They do lots of activities, and she gets plenty of stimulation. The only downside is the outside space, which is small, but they've done the best they can with it and packed it full of things to do. Our one-year-old also started recently and seems to be settling well. The baby room is a wonderful space for little ones - it feels both spacious and cosy. I would absolutely recommend this nursery - especially to children who get a bit overwhelmed in larger groups.
