We are really glad we chose Maples for our daughter. She struggled being away from home at first, but the super friendly and caring staff have really helped her settle in. We love getting the updates on the app about the fun she's got up to at nursery.

My daughter has been in the caterpillar room at Maples now for 5 months and the whole team has been amazing, making the settling-in process easy. She has developed a really strong bond with her key person which gives real comfort of mind when leaving her there. The food is great, and I love that they spend time playing outside and doing some of the messy bits we can't do as much at home! The app is also brilliant as every sleep/meal etc is logged so helpful when picking up to know for the rest of the evening.

Caterpillars Room at Maples Nursery is brilliant! So professional, caring and experienced. We feel really happy that our daughter is so well cared for and well taught by the whole team. Our daughter loved you all!

We have recently joined Maples and are so happy with our choice. The Caterpillar room is fantastic, and the staff care so much for the well-being and development of our little one. The general staff are so friendly and helpful.

We couldn't be more delighted with our experience at Maples. Our son recently started in Caterpillars and the team have been amazing - going out of their way to ensure he settles in. In a matter of days, it felt like he become part of a little community - where is cared for and played with. He seems to be loving every minute of it and I believe that is due to the wonderful staff in his room. We couldn't be happier and would thoroughly recommend Maples!

Everyone has been brilliant in helping my little boy settle in to nursery. The team have been so welcoming and caring. I was so worried about how he would manage but they've been brilliant and every time I arrive to pick him up he seems to be having a great time. They've also been amazing at reassuring us, sending us picture updates showing us how happy he's been. In fact, getting updates about what he's up to are some of the highlights of my working day!

Our little one has consistently loved going into maples and her key workers have always looked after her well. She has especially loved pre-school and her key worker has always been there for her. A great service thank you.

Our son started at Maples in April, and as first-time parents, we were understandably nervous about leaving him for the first time. However, the entire team at Maples has been exceptional in supporting us through this transition and in their daily care of him. Three members of staff in particular and the rest of the Caterpillar team made the settling-in period as smooth as possible, which made a world of difference for us. It's wonderful to see the strong bond our son has developed not only with his key workers but with the entire team - it's a testament to their dedication and hard work. We appreciate the regular updates we receive via the app, as well as insights into his progress against learning framework indicators. Our son enjoys the food and all the varied activities he participates in. He also loves the outdoor space. We can't thank you enough for the exceptional care you provide. It means so much to us!

Our daugher has been at Maples for a year now and has consistently loved being there! She has such a good time and always greets us with a big smile when we collect her - a testament to a great day. She's well-fed, spends time outside and inside around fun and interesting toys/activities and has made friendships with the other kiddies which is heartwarming to see. She's in her second room (Ladybirds) and has shown consistent development throughout. Her personal interaction inside and outside of the nursery is fantastic. While the food/building/etc are all great it all really comes down to the people - the staff are absolutely fantastic. Her key carer takes such good care of her and we can see the affectionate bond between them so easily (not to mention her being asked for over the weekend!) and she will jump into the arms of any of her carers which only comes with trust and happiness (and perhaps mention of breakfast). We really couldn't imagine a better place for our daughter to go to nursery.

We have been really encouraged by how dedicated Maples have been in supporting our son. I really feel he has been gently nurtured to feel comfortable and secure in his relationships with his key worker and other members of the team and this is developing to help him form friendships and feel confident in accessing the many well-planned activities. They really know him and encourage him to use his favourite area of the garden very often! An enormous thank you from us!

The staff are amazing at Maples, and it is our daughter's favourite days of the week! She is learning so much every week, including Makaton. She especially loves going to the outside spaces to play.

As my daughter moves from the Ladybirds to the Bumblebee room at Maples I wanted to review the amazing team, I have so many good things to say. They are wonderful at supporting my daughter in her key focus areas and know her so well they have over the past year, they have clear communication with us as a family and are like a second family for my daughter. The team's use of the app is thorough and continuous, we get lots of pictures and framework indicator updates through the app. The nursery also offers lots of opportunities for parents to be involved in regular events related to the seasons. The site feels safe and the areas are all well-maintained and clean.

Both our sons are in Maples part time in both the Ladybird room and the preschool, they couldn't be happier! Food cooked on site that's healthy, friendly knowledgeable and caring staff. The rooms and outdoor spaces are hard to beat locally. Our boys settled very easily thereafter we relocated to Winchester. Highly recommend.

I love Maples! Honestly can’t recommend this nursery enough! We have two children here, one in caterpillars (baby room) and one in preschool. Dropping your children off for the first time is never easy, but the team really get to know your baby/child before they start. We had a number of settling-in sessions that were completely flexible to ensure a smooth transition. The love care and fun they have is just amazing and the food! The menu and variety are great and all are included which is fantastic. Spacious rooms, great outdoor space, chickens! What more could you want.

We are back at Maples with our second child. On returning, we have received a warm, well-informed and well-organised welcome. My child has robust settling-in sessions and has received attentive and caring support since starting. Big thank you to all the Caterpillar team!

My son started Maples in October and I found the settling-in sessions really helpful. We had a chance to take our time and get used to the new routine and environment. All staff have been really supportive and caring. My son really enjoys spending time at Maples and this is a real testament to the fantastic team at Caterpillars.

I have two sons in the nursery, with my youngest son starting in the Caterpillar room in September 2023. Since he joined, the team have worked their hardest to ensure that he has settled well into the nursery setting. As a result, he has built strong relationships with those in the room and is happy to go to nursery. It is extremely reassuring to know that your child is being looked after by people who genuinely enjoy their job and working with children. Seeing them get just as excited as me when my child reaches a milestone or hearing them excitedly tell you about the excellent day they have had certainly confirms that he is in the right place. It is wonderful to see the strong relationships my son has with them, which is down to their hard work, kindness, and commitment to their roles. For that, I am extremely grateful.

“Thank you”, that goes to out to everyone in the team both past and present who have been a huge part of my daughter's journey at Maples. From the day she started in Ladybirds, to her last day in Preschool, everyone has welcomed her into what is not only their work day but their hearts. The team at Maples is truly exceptional and every one of you should be proud of the amazing little girl you have all created on our behalf. As a lot of you are aware, she has no idea she is not returning when she leaves on Thursday and that the goodbye that she gives is not the goodbye she wants. As she wakes up Friday morning not knowing why she has no Preschool today. A long weekend?? then Preschool maybe. But instead, she leaves on to her next journey to make her new friends and continue to touch the hearts of her caregivers as she has touched yours. It will be sad for us to hear “the door is open” as it closes behind us one last time. So again from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Best wishes.

Maples has been fantastic the past four years of my child's attendance. Even during the pandemic, they worked so hard to support us families. The premises are well appointed, the staff work so hard and communication is clear and effective.

The staff at Maples Day Nursery are great! Especially the team in the ladybirds room making such an incredible effort to help my daughter settle in and become more comfortable in a new setting. Forever thankful for the effort they make to ensure she enjoys her day and is well-fed and making lots of new friends!
