My son loves it at Sun Hill. He's made a lot of friends there and the staff encourage him to play nicely with others. They also place a strong emphasis on teaching kindness and independence, which shows in the improvements he has made. Facilities are lovely and the outdoor space is a big favourite.

Our son really enjoys going to nursery. He is well looked after and gets lots of opportunities to play outside. The food is always healthy and varied. We would recommend this nursery to anyone considering it. The app system could do with an update - we often don't get updates on every meal and don't get a picture every day. Also although the staff are good there is a high staff turnover and in the first few months our son had three different key workers!

My son has been attending Sunhill for over a year now. He absolutely loves it there and is excited to attend, and all the staff are so kind and caring. Food choices vary so not constantly eating the same thing and lots of variations.

This is the first month our 1 year old has gone to nursery and Sunhill has made that a really positive experience for him and us. The communication with the staff is excellent and the little one always seems to have a good time there. He’s now been over 6 weeks and seems to really enjoy his time at Sunhill. There’s always lots to play with and lots of good food.

My daughter 4.5 and my son 10 months old have both been at Sunhill Day Nursery in Royston and they couldn’t be happier. The staff are amazing and they are what makes this nursery stand out from others. They all genuinely care and are great with our children. Special congratulations to my daughter's teachers for exercising many letters and numbers prior to the school making my daughter prepared. Also always good feedback from my daughter in regard to the food. The administration team is also outstanding – super efficient and always happy to help. Thank you.

We moved our youngest here after our eldest attended another Royston setting. The youngest started, but then they kept closing for staffing issues. Since joining, she's absolutely flourished and settled so quickly. we are four months in, and I'm so pleased with our decision. Her speech has come on loads, and she's really happy with the staff. The facility itself is good too, with lots of natural light and outside space, and they have a good variety of activities with the right amount of independence.

Our two-year-old has recently joined Sunhill Day Nursery and has settled in very well. Our son loves his key carer (he chats about her all the time!) and the rest of the staff who are friendly and reliable. The food is great and he always naps well there (more so than at home!). They spend lots of time in the big garden and it's clear he loves going there as he skips in most mornings. I would recommend Sunhill and all of the lovely staff to anyone looking for a trustworthy and welcoming nursery.

The staff are all so lovely. My daughter doesn’t stop talking about nursery, she absolutely loves it there! Such great energy at the nursery every time I pick her up. They offer high-quality food and are food health conscious. Highly recommend.

Brilliant nursery and staff, my daughter has settled in really well in the Twinkle Stars room after only two months. Love that we get sent updates through the app throughout the day as it’s really reassuring.

We're consistently really happy with Sunhill. I have two children there who are thriving and love going in every day. There are varied activities, great outdoor space and a good menu. The staff are warm and professional and develop really lovely relationships with all the children. I never have any hesitations about dropping my children off and would highly recommend Sunhill.

My daughter has been attending here for a few weeks and I am very pleased with the way she's settled. She's coming on leaps and bounds and she's definitely going to be ready for school.

The staff are very caring and both my children have loved going here. I feel they have greatly helped with early years development and helping my children become independent with daily tasks. I would definitely recommend.

Sunhill has been absolutely fantastic with our daughter, she absolutely loves attending nursery and often doesn’t want to leave! All of the staff are brilliant and so kind and caring. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

My daughter absolutely loves Sunhill Day Nursery - so many fun activities every day and lots of messy play. I love that the kids spend a lot of time outside, and the meals are great and all freshly prepared. The staff are very welcoming, and everyone is very caring.

My son has attended Sunhill for the past two years. He is very happy at the nursery and enjoys his time there. As with most nurseries, there have been some high turnover rates of staff which I felt could have been communicated more effectively - especially around key workers, other than this, I am happy with the nursery overall.

Sunhill is lovely. The staff are all wonderful and truly care. Management is efficient, and communication is very clear. Meals are varied and nutritious. The outdoor space is lovely and well-utilised. Well-structured days and the children learn and have fun.

My baby is super happy there and always comes back home calm and content. We receive comms during the day with his activities, and we can see his learning on a daily basis. The staff is fantastic, loving and caring. They made it comfortable for me to go back to work. One lady was so amazing with my baby and made me feel reassured everything was ok. Thank you! The management is always ready to help and adjust to the family's needs. I recently had to amend his attendance days due to my new job, and the manager was amazing. Thank you! We’re very happy with Sunhill and definitely recommend it.

Overall happy with the care my daughter receives at the nursery. The app doesn’t get updated as much as I would like, and I’m unsure of how much actual learning goes on, feel like the children are just left to their own devices to play with the toys in the room rather than structured play and educational activities. My daughter is also very hungry when I collect her and I am told she always has 2 helpings so assuming the portion sizes are not adequate. All in all, feel safe dropping my daughter there.

Our issues at Sunhill stem from dealing with the management, which was always difficult. Communication was poor and it felt like we got blamed when something went wrong in their system, especially around financial matters, which were often muddled and disorganised. We felt on several occasions that the service manager was rude to us for no reason. Our child's keyworker was particularly good and probably kept us at Sunhill longer than we'd have otherwise stayed. The other room staff were often good too, so it was not all awful. We were keen for our child to be in a setting without screens, as was the case at Sunhill when we signed up. At some point, with no discussion, a very large tablet/TV appeared in the rooms and the children now spend a lot of time playing on it and getting it to read them stories, rather than human interaction. Since we left Sunhill we have found a much more welcoming and efficiently run nursery in Royston. We get great daily updates and communication.

On the whole, very happy with the nursery and the care they provide our little boy. He seems to enjoy himself and is always happy to see his key person in the room when I drop him off. The team are happy to give feedback on his day when I pick him up and is quick to contact me if there is ever an issue. My only comment would be whether the portions of food are enough, as I do find myself having to give breakfast before and a snack after I've collected him, otherwise, he is extremely hungry.
