View Full Details of The Tiny Toes Nursery Club - HertfordMy son joined Tiny Toes in Nov 2011 and left this summer to start school. From our first visit to Tiny Toes, all the staff made us feel relaxed and at ease, the approach was very personable compared to other nurseries we had visited. My son absolutely loved his time there, all the staff and children included. He developed into a very happy and confident little boy with the help of the Tiny Toes staff. We noticed and appreciated the small improvements made under the new ownership, particularly the opportunity to engage with other parents at social events organised by the nursery. This allowed us to establish relationships with parents of other children that my son had developed particular bonds with and who we are still in contact with now for playdates. We have such fond memories of Tiny Toes and were very sad to leave. I would definitely recommend Tiny Toes to anyone in the area looking at nurseries.
My child loves going to The Tiny Toes Nursery. The staff are brilliant and form strong bonds with the children. They provide a wide range of activities and a wonderful, varied menu, given my child the opportunity to try so many different foods. I am so happy with the experience my child is getting.
My daughter attended The Tiny Toes Nursery Club for two years, having been to a different nursery prior to that. They supported her transition wonderfully and helped her develop confidence and compassion. She is now in year 1 and still has vivid, fond memories of Tiny Toes and requests some of her favourite foods from the chef's excellent repertoire. We didn't think twice about sending our son, who started eight months ago, and he is having an equally wonderful experience. The team are nurturing, child-centred and accommodating. Couldn't recommend them more. They don't have the biggest outside space but they take the children for walks regularly and take advantage of the proximity to Hartham.
I'm very happy with Tiny Toes. The staff are really attentive and I can tell that my daughter built a strong bond with all of them. The range of activities that children take part in is very fun and most importantly good for their development. I highly recommend this nursery!
Really impressed with Tiny Toes. My son absolutely loves it and has settled in so well and a lot faster than I anticipated. All the staff are so lovely and warm. Whenever I have a query, they are very quick to respond and explain. I will be keeping my son (2) here until he is of compulsory school age because he loves it. I would definitely recommend it to any parent looking at nurseries within the area.
Wonderful, caring and knowledgeable staff, lovely open-ended resources, fabulous recent refurbishment, staff are always happy to discuss questions and any concerns. We are very lucky to be part of the Tiny Toes family.
Met my son's needs and taught him some sign language when he first joined as he didn't really talk, love the staff and my son loves being there and playing with his friends. Being autistic they understand.
Tiny Toes was my first choice of nursery when looking for a setting for my son. A small nursery makes it feel more like a family with the staff knowing my son even if they are not working in his room. He loved coming out of nursery and telling me all about what he had been doing. Although the garden is small it was big enough for my little boy to practice his footballing, which he still loves doing now. Thank you, Tiny Toes for all you have done and the memories made.
Our daughter attended Tiny Toes for 2 and a half years and we are so pleased we chose Tiny Toes. As a smaller nursery, there is a real family feeling and our daughter loved her time there. The team at Tiny Toes are amazing - so friendly, caring, and flexible. Tiny Toes regularly take the children for trips to the park, to see the ducks, etc. which we thought was lovely. We were sad when the time came for her to leave, she has lots of happy memories from her time there. We wouldn’t hesitate to anyone looking for an amazing caring nursery in Hertford!
We are so pleased that we chose to send our daughter to Tiny Toes. We had moved house and so needed to choose somewhere she would settle quickly as she had already been at another nursery. Tiny Toes felt like a home from home, and it felt like the staff really got to know the children and welcomed them. They have done such a range of activities with the children, and despite having a small garden they really utilised it, changing up activities and encouraging learning and play. Thank you so much, you have really allowed our daughter to be school-ready.
Our daughter recently left Tiny Toes after having attended for almost 3.5 years. We could not thank the staff and environment at TinyToes enough. They have helped our daughter and us navigate some key learning experiences whilst also providing her with a secure and friendly environment, which has allowed her to develop into the confident, caring and happy little girl she is now at school. We will all miss TinyToes very much - it’s such a wonderful community to be a part of - and would recommend the nursery to any new potential parents and children. Wish you all the best!
Our son attended Tiny Toes for 4 years from 2019-2023. Over that time I have had nothing but positive experiences even during the difficult lockdown periods, the staff are always caring and the nursery is flexible and always responds quickly to any queries. The app is useful to get quick information and to inform parents of what the children have been doing during the day. Food was always good and our son left with fond memories. Would recommend this nursery. Thank you Tiny Toes.
Our youngest child is leaving Tiny Toes for school tomorrow and it's the end of a (very happy) era for us all! The team have been like an extended family to us, and both of our children have loved their time there. The staff are always ready with a cuddle at drop off and pick up and we love the curiosity approach, with the children leading the way on the learning. Both kids have enjoyed baking, woodworking, trips to the supermarket and walks around the park. We can't thank them highly enough for everything they've done for us over the years.
The most wonderful and nurturing nursery with the most caring and loving staff. You’d be hard-pushed to find somewhere better. Genuinely has felt like a second family as it is not too large. They take the children to the castle, the parks and little adventures and both my children since 2017 have had the most amazing time here. They’ve learnt lots and adored the staff (as have we). Thank you so much Tiny Toes!
My daughter absolutely loved Tiny Toes Nursery, always coming out with big smiles and telling me about all the activities she had done. She built beautiful friendships not only with the children but also with the teachers too. The learning resources are great, my daughter loved to see what she would get in her book bag each month. The variety of food was also great. We are going to miss Tiny Toes a lot. Thank you for helping my daughter to grow.
My daughter was at Tiny Toes for two and a half years and loved her time there. Tiny Toes has a fantastic family feel and gives the children their fantastic care. I have been so pleased with how my daughter developed during her time there, especially her speech, imagination and inquisitive mind. We will miss everyone there very much.
Both of my children attended Tiny Toes from 5/6 months until they went to school. It was the best choice we could have made. They were cared for superbly, always. The environment was nurturing, but also somewhere where they could grow and thrive. The relationship between us as parents and staff was brilliant - receiving helpful feedback and together determining 'what next'. The list could go on - excellent food, trips locally, highly positive staff and an inspirational manager. We recommend Tiny Toes to friends, colleagues and neighbours and we have a long list of people over the years who have loved and love Tiny Toes just as we did.
We sent both of our children to Tiny Toes and they were fantastic with both of them. The staff are so friendly and warm and clearly care for the children in their care enormously. Communication was excellent and we were kept well informed about our children’s progress. We would highly recommend the nursery.
Both our children went to Tiny Toes, starting in the baby room at around 7 months old and leaving aged 4. They loved their time there, from the 'Gruffalo Crumble' to the mud kitchen, walks to the park to feed the ducks, free flow area, reading corner and so much more. Despite the small outside area, there are so many fun activities packed into it and the children would also go out to the castle, local shops and the town. The staff were amazing, really cared about the children and even when we see them around Hertford now they stop to talk to our children and see how they're doing. Unlike some other nurseries with a high staff turnover, most of the team at Tiny Toes have been there a long time and this speaks volumes. I would recommend Tiny Toes to anyone, it has such a family feel to it and we always felt confident that our children were receiving the best care while they were there.
This is a lovely little nursery. Both my daughters attended one of which attended for 3 years and the other for a year and a half. My child grew so much in character. They loved attending every day and we're sad to leave the staff as they moved on to school. I highly recommend this nursery!
