My LO joined just after her 1st birthday and I was incredibly nervous as she'd never been cared for by another other than mum and dad. We were offered settling in sessions (free) which were invaluable and the staff took the time to understand her routine and what she enjoys. All the staff are absolutely wonderful and clearly very knowledgable. My LO adapted to all the staff very quickly and has such a fantastic time at nursery ever day - no tears on drop off or pick up and is extremely happy every time. The food is amazing and there's a variety of food that she probably wouldn't have tried otherwise! The activities are fantastic for their development and the updates on the app are so lovely in seeing how her day is going. The forest school is her favourite thing and the garden! Can't recommend the nursery enough, my LO loves it so much which is more than I ever expected and I really have no mum guilt as she has the time of her life every day!

So glad we decided to send our girls to Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery and Preschool. They have a great time and have developed so much, which we think is a direct result of all the activities they do at nursery. The team in our girls' room are great, genuinely care and go above and beyond to keep to our routine and make sure the girls are happy. Thank you!

My 18 month old daughter only started at Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery and Preschool in September 2024 but has already grown to love her time there. As a family, we are grateful to have been welcomed so warmly by all members of staff, especially the team in her room! To know our daughter is loved and cared for is all we could have hoped but the staff have honestly exceeded all of our expectations! We can't wait to watch her journey here!

My son started at the nursery in January this year. He was dubious about starting and ended up in tears for the first few weeks. The staff were amazing and patient with him, allowing him to come in and engage at his own pace without forcing him to remove his coat or interact immediately. He now loves it and is straight in without a backward glance. He is a lot more adventurous with food and eats food at nursery that he wouldn’t touch at home. He is tired out at the end of each day! The staff are very interactive and plan activities for the parents to attend. They are approachable and will follow what is best for your child. Great nursery!

My son has been with Swanscombe Bright Horizons for about 2 years and when he started he was quite delayed due to COVID. The nursery assured me I wasn’t alone and since then he has come on leaps and bounds they have taken their time even though they are so busy to get the best out of my son and I couldn’t be more appreciative for their support advice and love they have for him! I will be sad to leave in September but they have given my son the best possible start in life!

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 1 and is very close to graduating from preschool. She made lots of friends but the bond she formed with all her key workers from the beginning has been so lovely to watch. There is an app in which you can see what the children are up to and at preschool level especially, it’s amazing to see the topics they learn about. She comes home and shares new words she learnt in French, and the same words in Makaton (sign language) and I’m constantly blown away at the knowledge and variety of things she picks up at Bright Horizons.

My daughter has been attending the nursery from 9 months old, she is now 2 and absolutely loves her time there! We have recently amended her days from 1-2 and she has also recently moved up to another room, this has been a huge transition in which she has had lots of support in, I’d like to give one member of staff, in particular, a special thanks as she was brilliant throughout the transition, my daughter also built the most wonderful relationship with her so it was a shame that she couldn’t join her in her new class, however, I’m sure she will develop the best relationship with her new ‘key person’. All of the staff are absolutely fantastic and I feel extremely confident knowing that she is going to be provided with the best care whilst she attends.

My kid goes to preschool and I can see a lot of change in her. At first, she used to cry to go to nursery but the staff handled it so well now she happily goes to nursery. I can see her skills improving a lot and she enjoys it well. I will definitely recommend Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery and Preschool to others.

My son has been here just gone two months and we have seen significant developments since. The nursery is perfect for him. He runs in daily. He loves it so much he gets upset that he can’t come in on the weekends! Just a testament of the incredible job the staff are doing. The teachers he has are 10/10. They pay so much attention to him but most importantly, they are intentional. As first-time parents, it can be a bit nerve-wracking leaving your child elsewhere but we get constant updates on their activities, food intake and nap times. Simply a well-run nursery. We love it here.

My child has been going to Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery and Preschool since he was 9 Months old, they have been such a big part of helping him become confident, bubbly and taught him day-to-day skills, supported with learning and getting ready for the next step. I couldn’t thank each one that my son has been looked after. They soon will have my daughter joining the Bright Horizons family - wouldn't want them anywhere else. Thanks team!

Wonderful staff and nursery, my daughter was a member at the Dartford branch and I moved over to this one and I have seen a massive difference! The staff are so warm and welcoming and my daughter has grown so much in confidence and had a lovely relationship with her key workers! She really enjoyed going in and they provide regular info in the apps with photos of all the activities she does so as a parent I know what she is doing and learning! Thank you all for your wonderful hard work.

My child seems to enjoy coming to the nursery and has made a nice little group of friends. The staff are all lovely and my child always speaks highly of them. Would be great to get some more real-time updates as I like to discuss what’s happened in the day on the way home.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We have sent both our children to the nursery from 1 year old. Our daughter still likes going into nursery even though now at school. Special mention to the staff member in Pre-School 1 for going the extra mile with my son and his development with speech. Works very closely with the external speech therapist and genuinely does care about his development. For this we thank you.

My child has attended this nursery since he was 1 and he has enjoyed every milestone. The staff in each room have welcomed him with open arms, have assisted with his development and now he is nearly 4, I have seen such growth in his learning ability thanks to the attentive staff. I love the nursery so much, I’ve even joined their committee!

This is an amazing nursery! My daughter has adapted so well and is clear that she enjoys every single day there. I feel that they do great things with the kids and help them learn new skills or improve their existing ones. I am so happy for my choice.

It’s a very good preschool. I like it very much. They are very careful with children. They are very involved, have daily activities and take care of the children a lot. Every day he comes home with something new.

My daughter loves coming to nursery. She feels comfortable with the staff and has made huge progress from when she first started. She has made friends and enjoys playing together. She loves the craft table and the different activities the staff set up. The staff in her room are really good at updating the app, so I know what she has eaten that day and always update me on pick up about what she has done throughout the day.

My child has been attending the nursery since he was one, since 2021, and he has always enjoyed going and loves all the staff working there. I find them to be accommodating and helpful. He has been in each setting, and I do not have any complaints at all. Really lovely team and the nursery - would highly recommend it.

Our daughter joined Swanscombe Bright Horizons just as she turned one and has been there for nearly a year now. The staff were so friendly and welcoming from the very beginning. They all take the time to get to know the children, even if they aren’t assigned to their room. There is a really homely feeling to the nursery. They do lots of messy play and encourage the children to try new things but also comfort them if they aren’t sure. The food is varied, which is great for them to explore new tastes. The staff give feedback on how your little one's day has been at the end of the day, and there is an app where the staff upload what your child has eaten/nappy changes/nap times, etc which, is really useful. We couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. Our little one has thrived since she joined, and It has made returning to work much easier knowing she comes out of the nursery happy every day!

My experience at Bright Horizons has mostly been positive and appreciated by my child too. They excellently support children with special needs, like mine with social and communication challenges, by effectively implementing therapist-recommended plans. My child very much enjoys the company of the staff, especially their keyworker. The nursery's layout, especially its outdoor spaces, encourages healthy exploration. Extra activities, like Mother's Day celebrations, add to their service, creating cherished memories. The convenience of onsite parking is useful, though it can be crowded at peak times. Receiving items my child has helped create, like vegetables, is delightful, offering insight into their activities. Improvements are needed in staff communication, especially during handovers, as information about my child's day is often lacking. The management is always helpful, enhancing the nursery's welcoming atmosphere. Their approach to catering to picky eaters, with a set menu and alternative commendable.
