View Full Details of Co-op Childcare TadworthMy daughter attends Tadworth nursery in the Preschool class. She is very happy there and has been for the past 3.5 years. She is a bright young lady who is eager to learn. Due to this she is school ready and preschool has helped her on her way. My daughter loves the extra roles preschool gives, and loves structured time such as carpet time. The staff are very caring and she has always been happy and content. She loves her room leader. The building itself is a little tired and could benefit from a refresh. It is generally clean in the mornings. The garden is a great size and has some fun and well planned out activities. The garden surface is pretty awful and the dust means any summer day results in my daughter coming home black. Over the years, staff turnover has been a lot. Luckily my daughter loves all and is content. As a parent i find it difficult with the different staff and building relationships/trust. The app helpfully keeps us up to date with what has happened in the day
We are really happy with the nursery. Our daughter loves going in every morning, has lots of enriching experiences and has great relationships with staff and the other children. Communication with the staff is great.
We absolutely love the Co-op Childcare Tadworth. My daughter has been attending 3-4 days a week since she was 6 months old (she is now almost 2) and it's so clear that she is happy and thriving there and that every single member of staff genuinely cares about making it a safe, fun and educational experience for the kids. They are genuinely kind and patient with both parents and kids! They use appropriate techniques to gently correct unwanted behaviour and reward good behaviour. They do a good job of keeping parents informed. The premises are clean and secure and appropriate safeguarding measures are enforced. They serve fresh, nutritious hot food and have a lovely protected garden and managed woodland for outdoor activities. Cost-wise it seems to be in line with other nurseries in the area. Not cheap but at least it includes food, nappies, etc. and you can claim tax free childcare/funded hours. We absolutely recommend this nursery.
Largely a lovely nursery with great staff. Our boys love attending. Recently feels like the staff levels are low and the staff levels are struggling - rooms being combined etc. The original staff are fantastic and very creative.
Could not be happier with my choice of nursery for my daughter, she has settled in so well and the staff clearly care so much for the children. All of the activities that are set up has meant that my shy little girl has come out of her shell, and is now confident to go and play independently. Could not praise the staff in the up to 2 years room enough, who have tailored programmes and activities to meet my daughters particular needs. An added bonus of lovely outside space and in beautiful grounds. Would highly recommend.
The staff have been truly outstanding in supporting the family - undertaking extra training for special needs identified. The children are always happy to attend and pleased to see the staff in the morning and are greeted lovingly. The meals are also wonderful - both children are open to a wide variety of meals at home because they eat such a varied and high-class selection of foods at nursery. This is so different from the nursey my other grandson attended where we were never convinced that he was really known to the staff.
Both my children attended Co-op Childcare Tadworth, starting before 1 year of age. My youngest is now 3 1/2. I have every confidence in their care for every individual child. The staff are wonderful and there has been amazing continuity over the past six years they have cared for my children. They spend lots of time outside and there is a great varied food menu.
Fantastic. Our son loves nursery and all those who looks after him. The activities are great, interactive and developmental. Everyone there truly cares for the children, I'm glad we chose this nursery.
My son started in November 2022 at 9 months old and settled in so well. The staff seem to genuinely care about all the children and made the transition easier. The management team are approachable, knowledgable and accommodating. My son has become more confident, is assessed regularly and encouraged to develop new skills and appears to be truly happy there. He goes in smiling and putting his arms out to the staff and comes home happy. Thank you to all the staff.
My daughter has been attending this nursery for the last year and the staff have been simply amazing. My daughter has a number of additional needs and the care, patience and support the staff have shown her, and us as a family, have been just wonderful. Communication between home and nursery is great and my little one has really grown in confidence. Couldn't recommend it more.
We have been at this nursery for over a year now and we've had nothing but a wonderful and positive experience with them. Our girl loves going and is always so happy, I know she is safe and she is comfortable. She has thrived way beyond our expectations and every single staff member is incredible. They support our daughter so amazingly and us parents too. Communication in this nursery is also fantastic. We cannot fault them at all, this nursery is the best decision we ever made!
I have been taking my daughter to Little Pioneers for 2 months now. She has settled in really well to the baby room. The staff have shown care and compassion and excellent knowledge of her individual needs. My daughter arrives smiling every time and that makes me feel more relaxed about leaving her. Also, the team work fantastically together, it really has a family feel to the nursery! Thank you Little Pioneers!
I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. My daughter has been going here since she was 10-months-old, she is now getting ready to go to school in September and is so ready due to the skills that she has learnt here. We are going to be so sad to say goodbye, particularly to her key worker who is such an important person in my daughter's life and who she loves dearly. My son also attends this nursery and was a lockdown baby. I was worried about how this would affect his development, speech and social skills but he is absolutely thriving, largely down to the environment and staff here. It is a really difficult thing to have to leave your children in someone else's care whilst you work but I trust the staff team completely, I know my children are happy, loved and learning every day. We are moving house soon and it will be a real wrench for my son having to leave nursery. Finding somewhere that I trust as much as here will be really very hard.
The nursery has a friendly and relaxed feel to it, in a beautiful setting. Our child has been having some difficulties in settling in but the staff have been going above and beyond to help find solutions that work for us which we are very pleased with. The amount of communication we receive has been particularly reassuring. On the app, we get notified of each nappy, sleep, mealtime and activities they may do. At handover, we get a comprehensive description about the rest of their day.
Excellent nursery with great facilities in secure, beautiful grounds. I think the first thing you notice when you get to the nursery is how lovely the surroundings are, and it feels safe and secure. The staff at the nursery are very kind and professional, and my son loves all of them. They have a well structured day, and he has learnt so much. I feel the staff care about each child’s development and provide great feedback at one to ones and on the helpful app. My son was a lockdown baby, and even though he hadn’t met many people, he warmed immediately to the staff. I highly recommend this nursery.
My second child has just started here and settled in well. It is never easy for me to leave my children in the care of others to go to work but the team here always put me at ease. I have a good relationship with the staff and we share information well between home/nursery. I think it’s important to share ideas freely on care/play/childhood milestones and the nursery staff here are so approachable no matter how small you think the issue is.
I was so nervous for my "lockdown" baby to start nursery after a year of meeting no one. But he has settled in so well thanks to the lovely staff and is always happy to go off in the mornings. It's evident that the staff truly care about the children and the nursery is child-focused. Small touches are hugely appreciated like sending lunch home when he had to go home sick and getting him ready and with a snack ahead of a long car journey. The app to keep up with what's going on is so helpful and the communication is good with regular meetings to catch up with our key worker. The food sounds amazing and I love the amount of time the children spend outdoors now it's warmer. I am so pleased with everything now we are settled in.
Very good nursery, the staff are amazing - very caring and welcoming. The building itself is very dated inside and in need of refurbishment or at least redecorating as it looks dirty where it hasn’t been done in a long time, however it is clean. The charges are higher than other local nurseries which isn’t ideal but my children are very settled there now. My children have developed very well there from the age of 1 and will continue until they are at school.
I couldn't recommend the Co-op Childcare Tadworth more highly. Our daughter has attended since she was 12 months old and she is so happy there. She is thriving both in her development and socially. The staff are warm, friendly and caring and have been particularly wonderful over the pandemic, really going above and beyond expectations with great communication, ideas for home learning and lots of effort in making sure children and their families feel safe and well-cared for. The facilities are purpose-built and there is a large outdoor space where the children can play safely, plus they are set in the lovely grounds of the Children's Trust. It really is a wonderful nursery which we would definitely recommend.
An incredibly caring and nurturing environment that is very well managed despite the difficult global environment of the last 14 months. Our daughter has thrived and developed so much and loves each day she goes to nursery - she has personal connections with so many staff members and each seem genuinely connected to her well being and development as well. We feel so lucky we made the decision to send our child here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to entrust their child’s care to someone. Their mindset to play, diversity, learning and even nutrition is something I am fully supportive of and I know I don’t need to worry at all about anything while my daughter is being cared for there.
