Both my boys have attended Ladybirds Nursery and I returned with my second child because of the wonderful family feel and 'home from home' environment. The non-stop play, which supports my child's development is a key reason I love this nursery. Since the recent management changes, there have been noticeable improvements. Communication is excellent, with regular updates on both the nursery's activities and my child's progress. The food menus are varied, healthy and interesting, my son often has seconds! The team maximises the small garden space and also makes use of local facilities like the playground. I love that pre-schoolers go to forest school to explore nature. The staff are fun, welcoming, hardworking and always listen to concerns. Their blend of professionalism and personal care is great. I'm impressed with the positive changes at Ladybirds Nursery and their commitment to continuous improvement. I highly recommend to any parent seeking a nurturing and supportive environment.

My child joined Ladybird Nursery in the baby room when he was 1.5 years old. I was very apprehensive in the beginning but the manager was amazing in assuring me that I could message or call whenever I wanted. Having amazing communication and the most amazing staff has made my child love the nursery each day. The range of activities offered in 2-year-old group has been very stimulating and educational for my child. I like the fact that each festival is celebrated and the child is provided with the most amazing cultural and learning experience. The whole team of Ladybird is amazing and I can say it helps me go to work without worrying. A big thank you to everyone.

We've had a fantastic experience with the baby room at Ladybird - Staff have really supported our little ones' development, especially with speech! During their time there, they have had the opportunity to really blossom socially and make deep connections with other kids. From a parental perspective, staff have been really supportive and understanding in setting routines at our request to help with sleep and toilet training, offering advice around milestones and flexibility to help meet our family's needs - I couldn't recommend the manager and the baby room team more highly!

We are very happy with the Ladybird Nursery. Our son stayed there for more than 2 years and we can feel that he is ready now to go to Reception and Ladybird played a big part in his development. I'd like to thank the whole staff for being so nice and caring with us and our son. The improvements made in recent years are impressive and they reached an outstanding level in our opinion. Our son will miss the school and we wish you all success for the future!

Strong recommend. We were there through their tough period and, firstly, hats off to the whole team, led ably by the manager, to turn it around. He excelled with comms - it's so important for parents to understand what's going on and have queries answered; particularly so in that situation. The reason for my strong recommendation is the staff. I can't name them all, made a big difference and I know my teacher partner saw and respected the results. They were with him for so long: he loves them to pieces, as do we. They are so positive it's infectious and great with the kids. I cannot say thank you enough to them all at Ladybirds.

We are extremely happy with this nursery, the staff are caring, have got to know our daughter on a very deep level and she is safe and happy in their care! If she is having a wobble about going in, the staff give her a cuddle and reassures her, and by the time we get home, we have a message and a picture telling and showing us that she’s fine, which is a fantastic touch and one of many examples of how they go the extra mile!

We are extremely grateful to the entire staff at Ladybird Nursery for providing our little boys with exceptional care, fun experiences, and incredible growth. Ladybird Nursery will forever hold a special place in our hearts, as it became a second home for our boys. The recent addition of the office manager to the team has been great. They've introduced a healthier menu, more consistent updates about our little one's development, termly newsletters, an increase in messy activities, air-con installation, revamping the baby room and I'm sure there are other things I've missed out on this list. We genuinely miss the entire Ladybird team now that our boys have transitioned overseas. We wholeheartedly recommend Ladybird to anyone in search of a nurturing environment for their loved ones with the friendliest and most caring team.

All of our four children have attended Ladybird Nursery and have flourished there. The staff are very caring and attentive and take time to get to know each individual child. The garden area and the cooking and craft activities, as well as the local forest school visit which runs every week, are particular highlights. It has a lovely atmosphere and goes the extra mile to ensure that children feel at home there. We highly recommend Ladybird.

Ladybird Nursery have looked after my son since he was 2 years old. They have always provided a professional, kind, and welcoming service. My son has loved attending the nursery and his development has grown hugely. The bond that the staff and my son had was lovely to see and I knew he was safe and well cared for which put me at ease. Over the last year of nursery lots of changes had been put in place, this involved a new healthy menu and more consistent updates, the changes have helped in easier communication with the staff and have been great. I thank Ladybird for everything over the last few years!

We moved our son from another local setting, after having a bad experience, to the lovely Ladybird nursery. The staff are warm, caring, and very knowledgeable. Most importantly the communication with us and care for our son is personalised to him, his needs, and their support to him and us as a family is just wonderful. A huge thank you especially to the manager and five members of staff in particular who have been a very special part of my son's childhood - we are very grateful for all that you do! Thank you Ladybird for your caring nature and for shaping my son at the beginning of his life.

We have seen a fantastic improvement at Ladybird over the last 6 months. The nursery already had some incredible staff, but a few new recruits really turned things around. My son was in preschool and started school in September. I was delighted that the new room lead in the preschool really focused on the four-year-old getting ready for school with phonics, carpet time and personal, social, health and economic education. Additionally, the running and management of the nursery became much smoother, and issues and enquiries were dealt with much more efficiently. Additionally, I have always appreciated the flexibility, half-day, full-day, term-time and year-round options. On my son's last day, I thought he might shed a few tears but in actual fact, it was me who was crying! It felt like the end of an era. He had been there for 3 years which is such a long time for a 4 year. We will miss the staff but pass by on our way to walk so sometimes get to say hi. Definitely recommend this nursery for your little one if you are considering it.

My child attended Ladybird Nursery from age 1 until age 4 when he left to begin school. He was happy with the staff that looked after him as he progressed through the rooms. He was provided with a variety of activities that sparked his interest, both indoors and out. When he reached the Pre-school Room he was able to attend Forest School once a week which he loved. As a parent, I appreciated and valued the ethos of encouraging the child to try and do things for themselves. They walked as a group to Forest School to practise road safety and got the bus back at the end of the day. I would thoroughly recommend Ladybird Nursery as a nurturing environment that supports early years.

Both my children have attended Ladybird Nursery and have both loved it. The staff are all so caring and loving which makes it feel like a home from home. My youngest is in the baby room and loves playing inside and outside with her friends whether it's messy play or peek-a-boo or learning new words with the staff. My eldest has just finished there as he went to school, and he absolutely loved all the fun learning activities available and the weekly forest school which was an all-day experience on nearby farmland. The new management had really mixed it all up so now the children get healthy food, learning through play and fab care. Every month we are given an update on activities with photos and an idea of next steps and targets which is so helpful. The daily info on the app along with a handover from staff (usually the child's key worker) makes communication strong. Couldn't recommend it more!

My son has just finished at Ladybird Nursery and we’re so sad to leave! I can’t thank the staff members enough for the care and love they put into each day. They all undertake lots of development and training, and they all have points of particular interest which the children love. The updates through the app were hugely reassuring and it was great to be able to message nursery whenever I needed to communicate. The observations in particular were so interesting, seeing how different aspects of my son’s personality were developing. They’ve improved the facilities recently, repainting rooms and rethinking layouts, adding in aircon (no need to worry in a heatwave) and improving the meals provided, which ensures plenty of variety. Would have no hesitation in using them again.

My son has recently left the nursery after almost three years of attending the setting and we have never had any issues during this time. The staff have been absolutely wonderful, always caring and focused on the children's development. The flexibility and willingness to help from the staff is something you do not get with chain nurseries. I wholeheartedly recommend enrolling your child here if there is availability!

There have been so many great improvements done throughout all aspects of the organisation and we really appreciate it as parents and my daughter who always loved her teachers and friends loves her nursery too.

I honestly don't know what I would have done without Ladybirds for the last two and a half years. One of the best aspects is that it is not run by a chain so everyone who works there remains flexible and focused on the kids. I can't recommend this nursery enough. My son loves it here. Don't hesitate if there is a space - take it.

Our son was at another nursery for 6 months. He really enjoyed his time there. The girls were lovely and made a real bond with him. He absolutely loved them. Ladybird were also very helpful as originally I only needed a temporary place for my son and they were very accommodating. Would highly recommend it.

My experience with this nursery has always been superb in every way. There communication has always been a key factor for me as they use famly to update every move about my child throughout the day and a discussion at pick up. This nursery has really helped with my daughters development and I couldn't be more happier as a parent.
