View Full Details of Busy Bees Godalming Bridge RoadOur daughter has loved every minute here since moving from another branch that closed in July 2024. All the staff are wonderful, but I must admit she loves one staff member in particular most of all, even calling nursery their house. Whilst her previous nursery was very good, we have enjoyed her attending Busy Bees Godalming Bridge Road even more as she is clearly very well looked after. We get many updates throughout the day and get regular messages on the app regarding her development, which is really beneficial for us to see she is progressing well. Overall I cannot fault a thing! I think they do a better job looking after her than I do!
I have a special needs child and Busy Bees Godalming Bridge Road have helped so much. We have lots of help and my child is so happy to go and does not want to leave. Staff are helpful and friendly and have helped my child grow from a 2 year old to a 4 year old and she is preparing for reception.
Both our daughters went to Busy Bees and apart from the time when there was a national shortage of nursery staff, it has been good. Management has changed for the better a short while before we left and it was clearly a positive change. Both girls enjoyed going to this nursery.
My twins were at this nursery from Sept 2020 until Sept 2023. During that time the nursery suffered from COVID issues and staff shortages which was tough for staff and parents alike, particularly room closures. However, the staff at the nursery were always outstanding and my girls still talk about them now. By Sept 2023, I have to say that the nursery had really turned things around and the new manager seemed to have things under control. The preschool had been transformed with an excellent team. I would therefore recommend this nursery based on the staff and excellent outdoor facilities which the children have unlimited access to.
My son has been attending since he was nine months old (he is now 2.5); we attended during Covid and then during the staff changes/room closures, which was obviously stressful for us and the staff. I am so glad we stayed and powered through the hard times, as I have really seen a turnaround since the new manager has taken over, and some of the previous staff members have left and gone to other nurseries. The combination of the new staff and the manager is great; they clearly work well together, and it is reflected in how happy the staff and children are. My son has really come on leaps and bounds over the last few months; he loves coming to nursery, the staff are loving, and nothing is too much trouble. If I ever have any concerns, the management team are so approachable, and I have no issues going into the office to ask questions. I have to give a special mention to his key worker from the start; the children all love her, and she has a genuine love for all of the children.
Cannot rate this nursery enough. My son is a very quiet, reserved and clingy lockdown baby, but since coming here, he has really come out of his shell. He runs in and leaves happy every day; he loves all the staff. I really feel like we have made an excellent choice for our child and we couldn't be happier.
My son has been going to the nursery for two years now. The nursery has gone through a period of change and it is so much nicer than its ever been. The new manager is fantastic, very smiley and very helpful. The staff that are there now are so much better than the ones who decided to leave and I can't believe the difference it's made. I was first very upset when these key staff members were leaving but since they have gone, it's very clear they were the issue there. My son loves the activities and forest school. He comes home every night talking about what he's been up to now and I have seen such a jump in his development in the last few months. Im so glad I stayed at Busy Bees.
Our son has now left the nursery, and although there were signs of the staff trying to turn the place around, it is only now after being in a new nursery that I can see how truly bad the experience was. First the price, more expensive than any other nursery in Godalming yet the food there is just awful. Cheese sandwiches for days on end for tea, lack of variety with fruit with mainly only banana offered and sometimes twice a day and pasta with mayonnaise or coleslaw as a sauce. The staff are lovely and it’s not their fault, but there is no structure or time to teach children there, as it’s all so chaotic. When the sun is shining you have to search for your child at pick up as the whole nursery is in the garden and all children are let loose with all different age groups. There have been many accidents that were missed as a result. Management doesn’t ask for feedback, because they wouldn’t have time to address it all! They didn’t ask why we were leaving. Would not recommend it to anyone!
The last two months there has been an incredible change to the nursery's overall look, the atmosphere of the building and the happiness of the staff, everyone seems so much brighter when dropping off my child, I can only assume it’s been the new change in management which is providing a positive impact on the whole building, staff and children! We can't wait to see what else the manager does with the nursery and look forward to seeing it thrive further into the future
My son went here for two years. It was an awful nursery then and I believe it has only gotten worse. Underqualified staff, no learning or structure, unbelievably expensive for what they offer. It was the worst decision sending him there. Only now he and my younger son are somewhere else do I realise how awful it was and how much more my sons are flourishing.
We absolutely love the nursery staff; they are so caring and imaginative with activities for the kids. The nursery has had some staffing issues and closures, however, is now organised with giving about a month’s notice of closures which gives you enough time to find backup care (certainly not ideal though). Overall, we’re super happy, and our child clearly loves it there.
Originally at the Binscombe branch, which closed down. Before it closed, we had at least 8 months of rolling room closures (two days a week). This was time off work for parents. Without permission and two days warning, we were moved to Godalming Bridge Road. Two weeks later, Busy Bees then increased from £78/d to £99/d - unjustifiable given they forced the move, this is extorsion. This is disgusting business practice. Now, at the Godalming branch, we have it all again! Management badly treating/managing staff so they no longer have enough to operate legally. This means more rolling closures and more time off for parents. Horrendously unreliable. Our family has had enough. Our child is leaving Busy Bees, which I want to stress, is tragic because he clearly loved attending and loved the day staff that looked after him. We love the nursery environment and everything they do in care. Our child always arrives and leaves a happy kid. We wouldn’t be doing this if Busy Bees hadn’t forced us to.
My boy started at Busy Bees Bridge Road. Viewing the nursery was so well organized, the settling-in sessions were amazing and from our first day, everyone has been so informative, accommodating, friendly and caring. Thank you to every single staff member at Busy Bees Bridge Road. My little boy runs into nursery, he absolutely loves it. The manager is amazing and has such a fantastic team of wonderful caring ladies looking after my boy! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Busy Bees Godalming Bridge road are definitely the golden nursery!
Our daughter has been attending Busy Bees Godalming since she was 13 months old. From day one she has loved it and we couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery. During the first lockdown, they were brilliant in supporting us with childcare due to me being a key worker. They have always been so flexible regarding extra days or extended hours. Our daughter has thrived here. She has developed wonderful relationships with both staff and her peers. The staff are so caring and kind and we know she is in wonderful hands. We really like the aesthetics of the rooms. Lovely and clean with so many activities and toys to choose from. Our daughter particularly loves the nature corner, Sally the snail and arts & crafts. She gets to experience a great variety of food which is lovely. The outdoor facilities are fantastic and a real bonus. There is excellent communication from the nursery to parents and we particularly enjoy the weekly newsletters.
I have now put 3 children through Busy Bees over the last 10 years. I cannot fault their commitment, care and nurturing approach to e children they look after. All three of my boys have always been incredibly happy and enjoyed their busy and full days at nursery. All the staff are incredibly loving and caring but also help support the children learnings around manners and good behaviour. I couldn’t praise this nursery or the staff that work there enough
We’re big fans of Busy Bees at Godalming Bridge Road. Despite my son being an emotional and socially deprived lockdown baby to begin with, after just a month or so he was absolutely loving it. It’s thanks to the beautifully kind and supportive staff, for nurturing and caring for my son. It’s wonderful how many activities they do with the children, clearly contributing to his development. I couldn’t have imagined feeling like this when I first started looking at nurseries, but I’m so grateful we’ve found somewhere where my son is so happy. It’s always a pleasure to see the team at drop off and pick up too.
My daughter has been at Busy Bees at Godalming Bridge Road for over a year. She came from another establishment but was very tearful at every drop off. From the minute she walked into this nursery she was a different child. She is confident and extremely happy. I have seen her excel in her English and Math which I am pleasantly surprised at. The preschool room is like a mini reception and the teachers are amazing. They kids learn so much with experiments on Tuesdays and cooking on Thursdays. I would highly recommend this nursery.
My daughter has been attending this nursery for nearly 2 years now. The staff have always been very caring and supportive, helping her settle in. She is always very excited to see her key carers. I would definitely recommend this nursery.
This is a fantastic nursery. My son attended here from 9 months old all the way through until he finished foundation class aged 4. He had such a positive experience here and still talks about it now. My other son is in Lah now and I feel very comforted knowing he is in safe hands. The staff are amazing. I would definitely recommend this nursery.
My daughter has been attending the nursery since January 2020 and whilst she was a little uncertain of being left with new people at the start, the staff at the nursery have been very caring and supportive and she settled in quickly. They have easily been able to accommodate the food allergies she has and we have at all times felt at ease that she is eating nutritious and healthy food, without a worry about the allergies. Recently, with a loss in the family, all the staff have gone above and beyond to ensure that my daughter is receiving the care and support she needs and to help the family in any way they can. We have been incredibly appreciative that the kindness they have shown has made this time easier. We are very satisfied that Busy Bess Godalming Bridge Road is the best nursery in Godalming.
