We went to visit a few nurseries when we moved to the area but fell in love with this one immediately. My son has been here for 6 months now and loves it so much he cheers when we drive into the car park. He currently does 2 days, soon moving up to 3. It's a very outdoorsy nursery which is perfect for him - they get out whatever the weather and as it's next to the forest they do great little exploration trips in the warmer months. There's lots of outside play space, gardens they dig in etc and inside they have regular creative things to do with the children. It's a very hands-on nursery and the staff are great, encouraging them to get stuck in and develop as they play.

Great things about Apple Tree Day Nursery are: A huge garden space with so many areas to explore, which is very rare to find. There is a pre-school teacher, this gives kids a huge advantage in preparing them for school. Staff turnover is low - In the 3 years we've been using Apple Tree the vast majority of staff have been consistent - this is extremely rare to find. There is a blend of young and senior staff who are friendly and welcoming - The overall combined years of knowledge and experience in each room is high. The car park is a decent size meaning that you can always find a parking space. This nursery uses the Tapestry system so parents receive photos and video files of their children doing activities ... this always puts a smile on my face when I'm stuck in a meeting. I could write a lot more positive things to say but there is a word limit ....

Very dedicated and caring staff. Great nursery facilities with fantastic outdoor spaces. Days are always packed with new activities. Plenty of great feedback via Tapestry, giving great insight into day-to-day learning and aiding a structured plan for developmental steps. Management are very proactive and are keen for continuous improvement, embracing the views and feedback of parents. My boys are always happy to go and have big beaming smiles when I collect them. We made a good choice with Apple Tree Day Nursery.

Both my children have been at Apple Tree Day nursery over the past 3 years and I have found that the key workers take great care of the kids. They continually think of new ways to entertain and help the kids learn. Both my kids have been really happy at Apple Tree and I highly recommend it.

This is a wonderful nursery that was recommended to me and I know why. My son has been there over three years and I couldn't be happier with the the nursery. When I drop him off I know he is safe and well cared for by the truly lovely staff. When I pick him up he is happy to chatter about his full day fun activities & challenges. His independence & confidence have gone from strength to strength whilst at Apple Tree & I have them to thank. He also eats really well there despite being a fussy eater at home. It really is a nurturing place & I feel sad that his time there is coming to an end with school around the corner.

My son has been attending Appletree for over 3 years since he was 1. He loves it, and so do I! I know he is in trusty hands. Everybody in the nursery is so happy, professional and helpful, and works really hard to make it such a nice place. They helped me enormously raising my son - potty training, eating, sleeping training, messy plays, art crafts, getting ready for school, and early exposure to foreign languages, just to name a few. The staff there are also very flexible and try their best to accommodate the parents' needs whenever they can. Highly recommended!

I couldn't have asked for a better nursery for my children. The nursery has been wonderful and I feel completely comfortable while I'm at work knowing they are being looked after and are very happy. There is a lovely home away from home feeling and my children have made some wonderful friends. I have gone out of my way to recommend this nursery to other parents in the area looking for childcare as it is the best in my opionion.

Appletree Day Nursery is an excellent nursery where all the staff go above and beyond the call of duty to offer the best care possible to the children. I have been amazed at how many different activities they do with the children, how much they keep you up to date with everything as well as the brilliant menus that they offer the children too. The nursery building is lovely with an enormous garden and all the children are cared for so well. I could not recommend this nursery highly enough.

My daughter has been attending Apple tree nursery for over 2 years now and we have always been very happy with the care and attention she receives. Staff are brilliant! A lot of effort devoted to early development and school prep. Outside space is fantastic, food is provided on site and is lovely. Couldn't wish for better nursery for my little one.
