View Full Details of Busy Bees Haywards HeathOur experience with Busy Bees has been nothing short of amazing. Our children walk in happily every day. Mornings are filled with excitement rather than reluctance, which speaks volumes about the atmosphere they've cultivated. The engaging activities not only educate but also bring immense joy to our kids. The staff prioritise the safety and well-being of every child, creating an environment where parents can feel completely at ease. The staff are also exceptionally supportive and caring. They take the time to understand each child's unique personality and needs, fostering a sense of belonging and confidence and their open communication with parents keeps us informed and involved.
Our daughter has been at Busy Bees for nearly a year and we don't have a bad word to say about our experience so far. We are so happy with the love and care she has been shown since day one. The staff are amazing and really helped her to settle into nursery life quickly, providing regular updates and communication making the transition much easier for us as well. Our daughter always has a big smile on her face at drop off and pick up and though she is a bit too young to tell us, she seems to enjoy all of the activities too. What more could we ask for?
We couldn't be happier with our experience at Busy Bees, Haywards Heath! From the moment we first visited, it was clear that the staff genuinely care about each child's development and well-being. Both of my children attend, and I've seen tremendous growth in their social and academic skills since they started. The teachers are incredibly warm, patient, and attentive, creating a nurturing environment that feels like an extension of home. There is a wonderful balance of structured learning and creative play that keeps them engaged and excited to attend each day. I also appreciate the communication from the team-whether it's daily updates on their progress or special events and activities. The nursery's facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained, with plenty of outdoor space for play. Knowing that my children are in such a caring, positive environment gives me peace of mind, and I would highly recommend Busy Bees to any parents looking for a fantastic early learning experience.
Our little one joined Busy Bees at 5 months old and settled in instantly! The staff have been amazing, they love and care for him in a way that's evident in his big smiles when we drop him off. He does lots of sensory and interactive play, all which have enhanced his development.
Our son started at Busy Bees in April this year and after a lot of worrying from our side, our minds were instantly put at ease by the assistant centre director and the team. Our son loves going to nursery and always greets us at the end of the day with a big smile on his face. Not only do we feel he is in safe hands but we know he is being cared for in a genuine and nurturing way. Genuinely cannot fault the team at Busy Bees!
Incredible team in the baby rooms. My son has been there now almost a year and has come so far and so many signs point to nursery in regards to his amazing development. Very informative, both in person and on the app, and I really feel that his needs are being met.
Generally well-meaning and friendly personal contact with staff. Face-to-face staff are caring to children. Excessive staffing changes and management changes in 2022 - difficult to keep up with who is working there and who has left. Very rigid in their adherence to corporate policy no matter what. Good examples: arriving 4 mins early for a meet and greet event and being told to wait outside in the rain because the event has not started yet. If you work Mondays, you will be penalised by being made to pay for every bank holiday including unusual ones like the Queen's funeral - so this is really a waste of money.
My son has been at the nursery since around 1 year old and having settled in straight away, has loved it ever since. He has made friends with the other children and staff and we love seeing the range of activities they get up to via the app. Daily updates on food, naps etc are very useful and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
We are happy with the Busy Bees, Haywards Heath so far. Going really well for almost 2 months now. The only thing to mention is the updates on the parent zone app which was good in June, but for almost a month it's not up to expectation. I don't get any update until 1-2pm and again next set of updates after I almost pick up the kid. I would like to know about the state more frequently. Also, the updates are not very clear as before. Was not aware of other apps until now.
My daughter loves Busy Bees and literally drags me out of the house to go there in the mornings. The staff are so kind and thoughtful and always take the time to talk about how my daughter is progressing and what she's been up to. I even get pictures of her put together in a little scrapbook, which is lovely and it makes me feel like I'm there with her. For me, it wouldn't make sense to send my daughter anywhere else, especially during these uncertain times. I've looked at a lot of nurseries before deciding on taking my daughter to Busy Bees and other nurseries have been extremely bossy with everything from mandatory school uniforms by the age of 2 (!) to not allowing settling in sessions due to the pandemic... which would be straight up traumatic for most babies or children in a new environment. Busy Bees went out of their way to make sure my family was always comfortable with how to move forward and that is the reassurance you really want as a parent. Both my husband and I are pleased.
The staff are absolutely amazing, finding the right nursery is so important and we believe we found it.
Busy Bees is a wonderful nursery and I feel very fortunate to be able to send my daughter there. The staff are excellent, attentive and genuinely care. I have been extremely impressed with all of the activities they provide. One of the other reasons we love the nursery is their amazing catering!
A very friendly nursery with a great atmosphere, staff and learning environment.
I couldn’t be happier with a nursery. Busy Bees at Haywards Heath is fantastic. I was extremely anxious to leave my baby at a nursery when I returned to work but very soon I was not only comfortable to leave her in the very capable hands of the staff, I’d even say I was happy to leave her as I knew she would have a great time and be well looked after. For this reason, I always recommend our nursery to others.
Our little boy first went to Busy Bees when he was barely 11 months old, and stayed until the week before he went to school. We had chosen to send him to a childminder as we thought that approach was more personal- but after he didn't settle in well there, we found Busy Bees, and we haven't looked back since. Each key carer that he had, he bonded with and was very fond of. The level of attention and care given to him was what you would expect from a professional nursery, but what we didn't expect and came to really appreciate, was the levels of affection that he also received. He was given fun learning experiences in an environment where he felt safe and happy. This autumn he has happily made the transition to school- and I think a large part of his confidence in that environment and his eagerness to embrace the learning, is down to his time at Busy Bees. I can wholeheartedly recommend this nursery and team, to anyone.
What a wonderful place. After 10 months at home, we entered the world of day care at Busy Bees and we would not look back! Dropping off and picking up our daughter is a joy. She has found her second home, smiling at the building as we get out of the car and waving us out the door as she has breakfast with her friends. Staff are exceptionally attentive. There is a true family atmosphere here. Staff and management throughout, go out of their way to build positive relationships with children and parents. After just a few days, everyone seemed to know our daughter's name, her favourite things and personality traits. From settling sessions, to room transitions, to messy play and happy mealtimes, we cannot fault their care and enthusiasm. The resources, activities, atmosphere, cleanliness, nutrition and general organisation led us to choosing Busy Bees. We have not been disappointed. Thank you for turning my return to work into a fantastic and loving experience for our daughter every day.
My daughter has been at the nursery for 15months now and has just flourished in this time. Really happy with her development in all areas. The staff are really loving and friendly. My daughter has formed a really strong bond with the team which just makes her time at the nursery more enjoyable. Looking forward to having my 2nd daughter join the nursery in a few months time!
My son has just left this nursery for school after 4 years and my daughter is in the toddler room. The care, fun and education provided by the dedicated, warm, knowledgeable staff is outstanding. The good communication between home and nursery makes it feel like an extended family. My children have been so happy and safe here, I have never had cause to worry and my son is now reaping the rewards of such a good pre-school education, at primary school.
My daughter literally skips into nursery each day - she loves it! This leaves me with such confidence and comfort, knowing I can go to work and she is happy and cared for. The staff are all so friendly, compassionate and experts in the field of child development. My daughter has learnt so much in her first year there. She is now 22 months old and, I feel, that she has developed so much more than if I didn't work and she were at home with me every day! She comes home each day and has been painting, or doing crafts or cooking - she seems to have learnt a new word, song or action every day. She thrives there. The facilities are impeccable. The building is secure and warm, there is a safe outside area for the children to play and each room has ample space for all manner of activities. Thank you to all at Busy Bees for allowing me the peace of mind while I work, knowing that my daughter is safe, cared for and is receiving a terrific and fun educational start in life!
Like any mother dropping their child off at nursery for the first time, I was apprehensive. Three years on and I cannot have hoped for better. Extreme thought goes into every detail - from the layout of the rooms in a beautiful Grade II listed setting to nutritious food prepared fresh on site every day to making each and every child's experience as enjoyable as possible. The wellbeing of each and every child is top of the agenda. The highly trained staff strive to tailor their care to individual needs which encourage the children's full potential. The staff are a credit to the nursery; they communicate well with parents and set an excellent example for the children. It is a credit to them that the children are polite, courteous and considerate towards others. The range of activities offered are thoughtful and creative. The garden could do with being bigger but it is one of the best I have seen in the area; it is well set out and oozes good quality equipment which promotes exploration.
